Great! This companion app makes me understand the Verselab better. Good to see Roland finally putting resources into iPad development. I hope to see a lot more of it.
I feel the same. I am really interested in the Verselab but it would be much more useful for me if it had greater integration with Zenbeats. I would love to be able to transfer projects back and forth between Zenbeats and the MV1. I suspect that is coming.
Considering the MV-1, although quite a powerhouse, does have some limits like 1MFX per pad, number of tracks, allowing full transfer or multi-track recording on the iPad will be a key improvement, for someone to transform a demo to an actual « commercial » track. Would be nice to see that type if integration on MC and Jupiter lineup indeed.
In song mode when i´m listening my track, my bass always overlap in between sections the last note of section 1 continues play when the first note of the section 2 starts and i have a big amount of low end in my track because of that . I´m hopping that someone have the same issue and maybe knows how to fix it ?
Question: when changing pattern mesurses , (lets say to 4) i don't see an indicator anywhere. How will I know when I'm nearing the end of the 4th mesure on the unit? Or is it only by listening? Thanks in advance
Getting the feeling dat a Windows 10 laptop with SD slot is the way to go. So I can update my verselab and take Zenbeats on the go. Is a 3:2 screen ratio better?
What are you using to connect the iPad to the MV1? I tried the usb cable with the camera connection and the mv still isn’t showing up on my iPad. I have everything up to date and the best iOS unlock already. Do I need a midi interface instead?

Any way in to tricking zenbeats in to thinking the MC101 is a verslab?

I really hope this kind of integration will come to the 101 also.
Me too

when you were in zenbeats mixer mode, did ypu press the plug-in icon?
Can AUv3 effect plugins be used to process audio from the MV-1
Not when I tested it. (Maybe it has been updated)

It will adapt to your screen

You need to have a powered hub or the dual camera connector to supply power. Otherwise, it won't show up as connected.
For me ZenBeats is the best daw of all the time
Why??
