How you don’t take lumps out of the cloth on some of these shots is beyond me, especially since your table wouldn’t be as quick as the tv table. Great work as always.
Most of the miscues are caused by what I’m doing with a cue ball to make it screw back that far. It just makes it a little bit more slippery, but only occasionally touch the table with my tip when this happens
That’s an idea, interestingly, I put the green in the wrong place on that shot but because it didn’t move or I didn’t go anywhere nearer it, I just moved it with editing later
It's a great idea. Having to move all the balls back every time must be exhausting, editing would take 30 seconds and wouldn't detract from the experience IMO.
It's great idea until you won't need to contact with any of these balls during shot execution, so cannons/splits or any other type of shots which making mess on the table are not possible to recreate with this technique 😎
@@hubix786 The basic idea still works if you only reset the balls that are *relevant* to the shot. When you play a cannon/split, that's going to be more than one ball, but (hopefully) still less than 21.
A few gremlins making things difficult, but you got them all. McGills shot looked easier than what it was. Good to see Kyren Wilson winning again. Good post, thank you. 👍
@@Breakfromlife I suppose it's a shot where recreating it is a lot more difficult than playing it originally. McGill had the option to knock in the 2nd red and take the point. You didn't.
Shot E: Have you considered using a piece of green tailor's chalk to make small dots on the table where you need to place the balls? This will help you to replace them accurately quicker, and you can wipe them off the cloth afterward. Greetings from Kyle, Texas, USA.
There were some gems in there. E was definitely the hardest to recreate exactly, though when i was watching it, it seemed a little flukey as he had the other ball to widen the pocket and was really aiming to get white safe. So Louis Heathcote gets my vote. I'd like to know as well if you would have selected that shot under circumstances? Not only vision, but riskiness and an appreciation of one's own skill would help those coming on in the game.
I think using a Riley aristocrat table with no10 cloth and steel cushions may help you play similar to the star tables used on tour so your closer to a level playing field with less variables, however you’ve got your own table and I’m envious of the fact you can use it anytime you like and no one else uses it, keep up With your content love your chanel ant Blackburn Lancashire 👍
On shot B it seemed like the attempt that you got it was the one time you didn't completely jump up on the shot. Just something I noticed. Awesome video!
Ha ha. I was watching that McGill match on tv and when he potted that red I immediately thought about Break From Life and the world of pain that shot would create!
Do you use warmers on your slate? I beleive in some tournaments now they put electric reptile heaters under on the slate which warms it and they actually play alot faster. Perhaps you could get the screw needed at a higher temp. Just a thought.
The camera man needed 'two camera angles' for the amazing Judd Trump shot, and just about captured it (Keep the camera on the table generic or risk missing the amazing shots!)
I don’t think even the wpbsa use their own pocket templates any more ,if you listen to the commentary from the pundits over the last few years their always banging on about how easy the pockets are playing, no consistency anymore .China events the tables are it seems always playing easier it’s a shame that snookers own organisation can’t even regulate their own tables .
Finally gave yourself a deserving 10/10 for the NR shot

Shot E.. you need video editing to keep all the other balls in the same position. You only need the white and red to move.

I knew that the Anthony McGill shot was going to be covered by you when I saw the initial match. Much love from Pune, India.

Amazing video yet again though ❤

Yeah, that was what was difficult about it because the red was there. It looked really simple.

Judging from his reaction he seems even disappointed that he didn't move the other red...
As a beginner to snooker!
I really appreciate how much effort you put into your videos and shots

@@trailerwookie I do use chalk marks So I can put the balls back quicker
The table cloth is smooth and refined on their tables, however awesome recreation video.. 10/10...

I would’ve gave a 10/10 for kyren Wilson’s recreation, spot on

Shot E looking at the attempts needed to recreate.
I thought it would be difficult but not that difficult

YES THE 10er!!! 👌🏼
Finally a 10/10 SHOT, congratulations!
tbf i dont think mcgill was trying to pot it direct based on his reaction
He was he just sort of but wasn’t expecting to and more hoping to move the other red
Trump’s timing and weight is perfect .
Why don't you use paper hole reinforcements for marking the spots? I saw them used in alot of pool-/ snooker-videos from other content creators.
Do love longer videos from you brother. I know you like the shorts, but 15 plus minutes is primo 👌
youre a legend mate
I look forward to seeing the best shots of 2020
First to arrive!
Been waiting for this ❤
I think if your shot turns out better than theirs it should be an 11/10, Richard in scarborough, UK

Table heaters have been used in every tournament since 1998 or thereabouts

The cusion of the pockets absolutely suck of this table.
