Enjoying what you’re doing boys, a
lot of work and expense goes into taking us along for the ride, I’m sure. There is something refreshing about content not over scripted or people acting like travel show hosts.

Great Show guys, took me back 20 odd years to when I was last there. Never forget driving towards Uluru thinking it wasn't that big but it just keeps coming and then you get there and realise how bloddy big it is. Love the way the D5 handled the trip, like to take mine out there but you need to have the support vehicles, just in case. Thanks, I really enjoyed that.

Yeah, it's unreal out there aye, so good! It is a big rock that's for sure. Yeah, the Delica really did do well I was really surprised.

Great series guys! Re: how much fuel you had left, (and I still have no doubt petrol Delica would have used more than diesels,) but remember the diesel fuel tanks in both the Toyota's are far bigger than the single petrol tank Delica, and work out the cost difference of petrol to diesel, it would have been interesting looking at the real world cost of caning that Delica through the desert compared to the Toyota's.

We had 180L 60 in the tank of Delica and 120l in jerrys for the desert crossing. We used about 92L in the desert. I'll try work out what the other boys used and get back to you.

Hi mate, it's got 4wd mode and center diff lock it's actually a fwd. No actual HI/LO range shifter or installed, it's super select and yeah it goes well driving in DS mode I think they have given it higher revs or something. It's a cool car.
