    Awesome review, I loved my adjustable lever arms on Titan X-3 Flatfoot. However, I upgraded to the Rogue Trolley System due to the ability to remove the handles. My wife only managed to remove the Titan arms once, but I know they were super heavy for her. So I’ve been eyeballing a handle removable system. Rogue delivered, all I needed to do was get my uprights modified by a local fabricator to accommodate the safety pin.

    Great review. I actually just ordered these as they just came back in stock. One suggestion: it looks like you installed the stopper pads on the front, but they should actually be on the other side to prevent the steel from hitting against the main rack.

      The pads are on both sides of the arms to accommodate pulling as well as pushing movements.

    They don't need to be moved away when using rack for barbell exercises right? I can just live them there permanently and attach j cups to them to do barbell press exercises? They could be used as monolifts too?

    I wonder if the rogue leverage arms are compatible with ur titan rack

    I just got mine from Titan for my T3 rack not sure if I like em . For the 300 I spent , like you said not the easiest to handle but saves space

    Thanks for review - this was just recommended to me from titan
    Two questions if you dont mind;
    1. Is this compatible with racks other than Titan? Looks like it may be
    2. Can I perform seated leg presses with this?

    • @mcelhinn
      @mcelhinn  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They make a platform for doing leg presses that attaches to the lever arms. I do kick backs on mine but my son had done presses using a bench to push off from. I have a video on TH-cam for the kick back glute exercise and it works as well as the specific machines they have in commercial gyms. I may also buy the leg attachment plate as someone mentioned it fits well on flip out safties to do Seal Rows as well as a leg press
      attachment.

      It should work with other racks with the same hole diameter.

    I am looking into these but I fear my ceiling is too low. What height do you get when you shoulder press?

    • @mcelhinn
      @mcelhinn  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I will have to check but think you would be fine. I didn't set my cross bar (axle bar) that I rest it on low enough so I am stepping up on a stool to get a full resistance movement out the weight lol. So I am stepping up about 8 or 10 inches which makes the top of lift closer to the ceiling. You can set it whatever height you want.

    is your rack bolted down? if not does the rack move at all when using? Thank you.

    Do I need to removed this arms every time I wanna use rack for something else? Cause if that's the case that will be a pain:( I hope I can live them attach to my prx rack all the time when not using them and when iam doing other workouts that don't include the leverage arms??

    Awesome review ! 👍👍🙏✌️Two questions please: Have you used these for (some variant of) Leg Presses ? Did I hear you say thereis rubber /plastic on the inner (rack post) side of the arms to prevent damage to the arm and pack posts ? Thanks !

    • @mcelhinn
      @mcelhinn  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes thats correct. There is a kind of a landing pad there like you often see on the back of bench leg attachments so that they don't smack the bench. A lot larger than the little pegs you see on those though.

    In your opinion, do these complement dumbbell presses, or are they about the same? Do they have a particular benefit with rehabing an injured shoulder? Thanks for everyone’s thoughts.

    • @mcelhinn
      @mcelhinn  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well they do allow you to me more stable while lifting OHP as opposed to dumbbell but as to the overall work. They are similar. For me its a change up exercise.

    Hi Mac, it looks like your X3 is a bolt down, am I wrong? Titan site only shows flat-foot rack. Thanks, great video. I'm 64 and looking to get back at it, you're a great role model.

      Hey Mike,
      Did you get your rack? I see they have more stock. Also REP fitness has some nice price point racks. Mine is a bolt down that I have not bolted down but I have plenty of weights hanging on it. I just have not got around to renting a hilti to bolt it. Hope your back in it. The 60's are just where you figure stuff out a little more but get to the same place. No reason we can't be out best fit. Inactivity is our enemy. Biggest thing is patience, all those little gains over the course of a year truly do add up to something big. I must have watched that old body of work video from EAS a 1000 times and the though its dated. The message is clear. Consistent persistence is the key. BTW you can watch that video on You Tube. Just search Shawn Phillips who posted it or body of work. It great free inspiration.
      Lol after posting this I saw they are again sold out. Amazing..
      Get those weights going..
      Mac

    • @mcelhinn
      @mcelhinn  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is to do seal rows off the rack.

  • @SIickTurtIe
    @SIickTurtIe 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Is that an X3 short rack or tall rack? Is it truly necessary to bolt down the rack? What if u have adequate plates weighing the rack down

    • @mcelhinn
      @mcelhinn  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have both tall and short X3 racks. I tried it on both but for now left it on my short rack. I put the pull up cage on the tall rack and lowered the cross beam bars a little to keep it away from the ceiling for pull ups. By doing so I ended up about where I would attach the arms on the tall rack. Its working on the short. I mean I may drop them down for low rows on either one but it just works better for me on the short right now. I have to many gadgets on my racks with safety arms, curl attachment, seal row bench, straps, weight storage. Its gets a little cluttered up front lol. The Titan site says anchor the rack to the floor.. Just the same I will see how stable the rack is with weights on it. Problem is I sold my steel weights and most of my Titan, Rep and Rogue stuff is backordered for the time being. Once I have what I ordered I should be able to hunker it down with a good load to give it a try. Right now I just use the arms with the thought in mind that it could be tippy, so lift under control. No issues so far.

    Can you do any chest exercises with these? Thanks

    • @TestingGoose
      @TestingGoose 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've seen people use the spotter arms underneath these arms to hold them in place. That way you can place them at the proper angle for chest and they rest against the spotter arms (so you don't hurt yourself trying to get them in that position)

    great review. i have titan X3 short folding rack. do you think the lever arm can be used on it in your opinion? the rack is bolted solid on the wall

    • @mcelhinn
      @mcelhinn  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would contact Titan but being that its X3 I would think it will work but the one concern may be wear and tear on whatever anchoring your using for attachment. That said you may be able to create some floor anchors that don't impede portability of the unit.

    • @mcelhinn
      @mcelhinn  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would think as long as you secure it so that it has more weight holding it down than the load your lifting your okay. I have weight holders loaded with weights on mine that keep it stable. I have not bolted it to the floor yet. I would think you could improvise a way to lock the front uprights too the floor if you really want it bolted down. Even if they swing out. Just probably not the traditional floor bolts.

      I was wondering that as well. Ive been searching all over to find an answer. Cant find any info yet. The Rogue arms are over $1000 after shipping and these would be a much better option given the price.

      Reddit has a discussion where they said Rogue Monster Lite attachments will work on Titan X-3 racks but X-3 accessories won’t fit RML because the holes are a little smaller on RML. But you could drill them a little bigger if you wanted.

    • @mcelhinn

      Wish I had the Rogue rack to perform that test. In fact it would be cool to set up a whole cross use chart. I know the Titan Preacher rack attachment fits my body solid spr1000. Only issue is I think that particular attachment could be improved.

      Another question , what size are the pins that goes into your upright? I know it's a 3x3 but not sure of the size of the pins. For some reason the holes towards the top of my rack are 5/8 but towards the bottom, they are 1 inch.
