Portions in the USA are becoming grotesque. I always try to share portions in restaurants, or take home at least half for later. You also tend to move more in Europe than in the USA, unless you live in a major city like NYC.
The French eat natural food and in right-size portions, and tend to walk a lot more. Much healthier lifestyle. Even the bread is way better and healthier.
Hubby and I eat 1/2 of a restaurant meal and take the rest home for another day.
Love this, as restaurant meals are usually huge....
Supersized food = supersized people.
