    Great video... informative without being boring. I still really like the Ranger but this would be good if we did more 4x4ing

    Another 10k Walkinshaw sticker pack fail... same as the HSV Sportscat.... give them more power ffs !! The new 2024 X-Terrain is 10k cheaper with a genuine roller shutter.. this doesn't even get a cover !

      At least the Sport Cat+ had AP brakes, sway bar disconnect, 6300kg GCM, great seats, braced front struts, Supashock suspension and 165KW 550NM.
      This doesn’t seem to have same amount of upgrades at this above.

    • @__PJ__
      @__PJ__ 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@bushmagpie3312 It didn't have more power than any other Colorado at the time : Engine: 2.8 litre Duramax Turbo Diesel engine with 147 kW of power and 500 Nm of torque. A 6-speed manual transmission is standard, with an optional 6-speed automatic transmission. ( Google It )
      That was my point, yes you could disconnect a bar and had a different seat but people want more power. That's what HSV/GMSV & Walkinshaw now fail to see and what they were built on.

    umm did you say a Dmax had “too much” throttle sensitivity??? These things were painfully slow off the mark when I test drove the earlier ones. did I hear that right?

      The latest model does seem to have the bump steer issue resolved with a new steering knuckle design. Isuzu is also retro-fitting the new knuckle to cars that fit a certain criteria. Now waiting on Mazda to do the same so my BT-50 can get sorted

      Got my wife a new 2023 XT. Was on sale for $65k but we got a 2” lift, 16” steel rims (kept the originals), 33” Wildpeaks, Bullbar & winch and a tow kit installed before we picked it up from the dealership, for roughly what this costs.
      Came to this video to see what big upgrades this Blade came with, maybe a V6 or something other than a sticker pack.
      I do admit, the side steps and “sports bar” are far more rugged and useful than the awful fibreglass crap the XT came with.

Plenty of V6 diesels would be compliant, but Isuzu does not make a V6 and there is no way they are going to go to the expense of engineering the car to fit a V6 just for Australia.
