I love that you actually explain what the stuff you are clicking does. Like with the color range you explained it so we can have some knowledge about it. Hate when tutorials are like "click this, click this, click this." That won't make us any better that way.
I swear you are the only guy who actually explains what you are doing. sick tutorial, i think your channel is gonna be very helpful with my college work

I think the reason I learned to use PS so quickly, is because you are always explaining everything over and over. You never said something like: "You should know how layers works by now." You always repeat stuff, so it is easier to learn. Thank you for all of your work.
You make the best tutorials on the net.I ve seen a many of them but yours are simply the best. You sound like real professor. Thanks a lot and keep doing a great job !
I'm just sitting here, watching your tutorials and applauding amazed by your work. I'm working in Photoshop myself for two years, but there's always something new I can learn from you. Great Work!
Beautiful. Of course I had to try this right away. It never ceases to amaze me how creative minds can accomplish so much when supplied with the right tools.
I agree! I'm a beginner and this video is perfect to learn some new techniques! Thank you so much for taking you time and explaining step-by-step process to people like me.
I've used Photoshop for years but never utilized the Color Range option. That is going to help a lot in the future when I do photo manipulations. Thank you!
I really find your tutorials helpful, you explain everything very well and simple and your voice is not annoying to listen to at all;] Thank you so much for being great!
I used to hate how he didn't put up the pictures, but then I realized that it would help me more if I could find a picture, and apply what I learned from the video to my picture. Plus, when it turns out great, it feels wayyyy better, and you can show it to your friends knowing that your creation is original.
Just want to say thank you so much for all your tutorials, I am new to photoshop! It is so wonderful to have these available. I am so excited, being an artist, I can see so much potential and fun with all that photoshop CC now has to offer. I will probably be your best fan from here on it. Thanks and keep them coming!
This is fascinating! I have got to say, you have helped me so much with my Photoshop school work! Thank You! Keep making videos, because I want to keep watching!
This was so helpful! I never paid attention to that texture option in the brushes panel before. It would be awesome if you could do more photo manipulation tutorials like this.
In Photoshop, if you're using the Save for Web feature, you can turn down the "Quality" if you're saving as a JPEG. When you do that, you'll see the file size at the bottom left corner of the window.
Another great video Howard, an awesome way to get the scene snowy. A bit of a sly way though making the tree look snowy as the moss on the branches worked perfect. Great job, might have to steal some of your ideas lol ! Thanks mate
Thank you Howard for your generosity and time. Would you consider making a video of the most basic of basic "How Howard explores photoshop" I find it amazing that people get this far into the program and I am interested in your method of learning. Thanks again.
Amazing stuff, i really like these more complicated/multi-step tutorials, i learn skills that i can use in completely different ways on my own pictures. As always keep up the great work, and I would love to see more advanced tutorials like this in the future. :)
You can think of it like increasing/decreasing the selection. A larger selection will result in more snow, while a smaller selection will result in less snow.
wow, what a wonderful tutorial. great pic and great edit. I love the material, and your style. thanks for sharing your knowledge with the community! :)
Hey Howard, love your videos. The thing i'd love to see though is some amazing photo-manipulations tuts. I know generally these take a long time, but maybe you could do a big project and make a series out of it for people to follow a long and change/try things themselves in between eps to see what they can get.
Howard, thanks for this great very easy to follow video, but could you explain in future videos more generally what the adjustments you use (like Shift Edge and Feather) do? You said Shift Edge adds/removes snow, and that's true in this case, but what does it technically do? Just a note for future reference.
Wow, I never knew about those tricks. That was really helpful. Thank you very much! If you could make a video about some photo effects to make a simple photo stand out, it would be nice
