Makes my heart feel so warm and fuzzy to see you love my city so much!! Crazy that I've lived in New York my entire life, and I haven't heard of half of those places. I'll have more to recommend for you next time you come back, and hopefully I'll be able to catch you then! Wish I could have this time around.
Awesome post! Thank you! Planning a weekend trip with a group of girlfriends and this video gave some perfect suggestions and delicious spots that I definitely wanna go to. Safe Travels back home, Mina❤
I went to a Vegan sushi restaurant in Manhattan near Penn Station recently. It’s called Beyond Sushi and I highly recommend if you come back soon! I got jackfruit crab rolls and mushroom dumplings that were both amazing!
wohooo, just in time before my flight to NYC! Thank you so much Mina, all these recommendations look amazing I already know it’s going to be hard to decide, haha. Will definitely look out for your cook book in the stores as well 🌱🫶
Hey, Mina! Great vid! New York is the place I would point to as a peak American (which I am) city. Sure, it's got the touristy stuff (e.g. Statue of Liberty), but it's also a central hub of *real* American culture; diversity and ingenuity and tradition, unfolding in countless microcosms! That's one of the few things I love about my country, and I'm glad you got a taste of it... despite one of the things I don't love about my country, and that's that everything costs almost twice what it should, because hedge fund managers and lobbyists said so. :(
I’ve been to Planta Queen and Champs…both delicious…it’s funny, you get exactly what I used to get…Cheesesteak and cookie dough milkshake…Beatnik used to be By Chloe, I love the Guac burger there, great place
Oh wow I live in Brooklyn (not Williamsburg though) and you went to some of my favorites. Sadly the last time I got food from Ras Plant Based I got food poisoning. I still love them, just taking a break oof
those vegan tahini chocolate chip cookies.... they're from a bakery called good batch in brooklyn! i've been a nyc barista for many years and many coffee shops order those cookies if they don't bake their pastries in house. so if ur in nyc and dont wanna stop by greenpoint, u can find those cookies in a bunch of different cafes! they're absolutely delicious and i'm always snacking on them at work.
Can you talk about how you made friends on the trip? Or did you know all the people you hung out with before your journey? I also want to travell alone but I am so scared of being lonely there
I've just come back from New York and I wanted to try and only eat vegan there and... honestly it was really hard because I just had no idea. Really should've watched your video before my trip! (But then again I'm definitely going back so very much looking forward to trying all those places one day)
Gosh everything looks so good... I keep toying with the idea to become vegan, I mean I don't really drink milk anymore or consume too much cheese being lactose intolerant and I've learned so much about substituting and altering recipes to make them vegan that I don't think it would be too much of a stretch to do anyway. I'm currently following so many vegan channels and its hilarious that when you mention becoming vegan to someone who is straight up carnivore they tell you wont be able to do it, you'll miss meat too much and how good can vegan be, you'll get bored so quickly.. I think after a video like this demonstrating all the hangouts in one city with good vegan food alone, how can you still think that.. I was honestly so hungry watching some of these places foods.. Hope you enjoyed it!!!!!!
Very enjoyable video, thank you. One thing I noticed though, many vegan places tend to offer too much pastries. Anywhere I go around the world it's mainly vegan sandwiches, bagels, croissants etc. As someone with a wheat intolerance I hardly ever eat out because it's just wheat flour everywhere :-(
I was in NYC at the same time as Mina, omg! I also saw the marathon runners. Unfortunately, my family is anti vegan, so I had to meet them halfway and eat vegetarian while in New York. Too bad I missed all those awesome vegan restaurants.
@@litchiicecream5792 Ngl, I'm a bit of a coward. I was at my brother's wedding and, like I said, my family is anti vegan and I didn't want to start any conflicts. I have relatives who are dairy farmers that were there too and I just didn't want to argue with anyone since this event was supposed to be focused on my brother and his wife.
Wow I would love to have an experience like this one! Thanks for sharing! I live in El Paso TX and it is so hard to find vegan food. I lived in CA and it was great but here not so much!
Love 🥰 this awesome what beautiful & gorgeous Mina ate in NYC. Mina's video's always makes me hungry but that's not surprising since there's always yummy 😋 food. Love 💕Mina.
By SB CA standards $121 is not expensive at all for 3+ people. I don't buy food out... like ever. Just seeing prices online and stuff. It's not to hard to find restaurants that work out to $100+ per person including appetizers, sides and stuff
Can you maybe put the food in order next time? Like breakfast, lunch, dinner, breakfast, lunch, dinner ect... or whatever order meals your eating as opposed to bagel, bagel, bagel, Mexican food, Mexican food, Mexican food
I only eat beef, grass fed local dairy, wild blueberries, kiwi and a whole food vitamin. This is an interesting video showing a diet completely different from my own; I'm not interested in changing however. Thank you for sharing.

Sounds believable to me haha
it would take even longer, throughout this period more places would open up
