This feels like Nas is on an Foreseeable Run for the ages. Magic embodies, embellished his legendary status as well as, finding new topics to tackle at this stage of his career. The Best sounding production of Him & HitBoy collaboration.
It's cause he can't run out of content. If you notice, alot of his peers rap about the same shit they rapped about back then and fans get tired of hearing the same stuff. A lot of comments say Nas is in his second prime, I agree with the sentiment but how is it only his second? When was his first prime then, was it not right out the gate with Illmatic? I feel like he had incredible runs all throughout the 00's as well... Stillmatic, God's Son, Hip Hop Is Dead and even Untitled all are really great Nas albums, and I hope people don't forget the "Distant Relatives" collab from 2010 with Damian Marley. Powerful project from beginning to end, you could also tell Nas came home with newfound inspiration after that one with all the crazy guest verses in '11 and '12 leading up to Life Is Good. And I don't think he's let up since... Maybe he's being more prolific and consistent again after a few years drought, maybe that's what people mean. Anyway I'd love a breakdown for why Nas is in his "second prime"
I've said the same thing. Nas has always been great in every phase. Whether the albums have been well received or not. There's always been undeniable verses and joints.

Myke the Kid C Town back again 2022
Nasty Nas still the best out here..good review guys happy 2022
Dude he has so many great pieces of work!!!
I've said the same thing. Nas has always been great in every phase. Whether the albums have been well received or not. There's always been undeniable verses and joints.
3rd prime for me. Illmatic iww I am, stillmatic lt godson, kd 1&2 magic
@@heybuddy7789 I can see that... I just remembered that The Lost Tapes dropped in 2003 as well. Damn
He has always been amazing. He takes risks. If I am and nastradamus didn’t get leaked and he stuck with the double album concept with the original track listing we wouldn’t have this narrative that nas fell off.
A$AP Came wit Bars!!! On Wave Gods!!! The fact he was on a song with a legend he knew he had to spit 🔥🔥🔥 and he bodied it!! Imo enjoyed the video guys!
I love that yall got rid of that big as conference table and got back to the informal format, this feels like home
Magic is incredible! 🔥🔥🔥 Feefo be talking just to hear himself talk sometimes lol
I don’t know what feefo was listening to.
@@mont-doggBeats That’s why he lost every single Verzuz lol
No doubt... I like this one even better than KD I & II. Most consistent album for me since back in the day, probably _God's Son._
Or he just has a different opinion than you? I guess yours is the only one that matters though
@@Jimmy1982Playlists I love this album too. But I also love KD 1 and 2, and life is good
The hooks were so good on this album
If this was Nipsey & Hit-Boy, Feefo would be jumping outta his skin with excitement.
So if it was a completely different artist that he likes more with a producer he likes more? No shit lmao
@@jajassa1 If Nipsey made the exact same album with the same wordplay production and everything else and the only difference is Nipsey then feefo would like it more due to his bias.
That’s what Tristan was saying
Super Tecmo Bo please! I need you all to talk about Moth in the Flame exponentially
Magic is better
@@dfwherbie8814 Sure is lol
@@RDrulez100 man of taste 🤝
Boldy and ALC delivered
Bohemian Grove couldn't get Nas to visit 👁️🔼
Boys, the SM7's are making your vids sound so nice..
Feefo need to chill out if Freddie, Jay, or Krit did this he’d be calling them MVP of the year. Magic is by far the best of the 3, Hit-Boy really wasn’t playin on this one.
Considering the multiple duds Jay has on his resume: Blueprint 3, Kingdom Come, Best of both Worlds 2, Magna Carta; I think it’s fair to say Nas has surpassed him. I personally have KD : 4 KD2: 4.5, Magic: too me is between a 4.5 and 5. There’s no holes in this album whatsoever. I want to see Nas continue to apply pressure so it becomes undeniable who’s better. Great review as always fellas
Lowkey magna carter ain’t that bad the highs are highs but the mid is mid
BP3??? Come on bro 🤦🏾♂️…
True. Jay overall has still been consistent and we cant forget that 96-03 run without one bad album
@@jahterminatedlmao5473 I liked Kingdom Come too to be honest…
I personally loved magic. Straight to the point. No bloat. Great beats and phenomenal rapping. I enjoy this more than KD2 personally. Just happy for nas 🔥
Been waiting on you guys for this one.
8 months later I'm still bumping it.
It's perfect.
I can't believe none of them had The Truth as a fav. That was Nasty Nas on that record.
1. Truth
2. 40-16 building
3. Wave Gods
I think Nas had an inspiration slump for some time, and once his inspiration hit, it’s like he had to unload everything he knew he had but just wasn’t in the right space or with the right people to pull off at the time.
I was wondering when you guys would talk about this! Cause it came out of nowhere!!!
I don’t even take Feefo seriously when it comes to Nas projects anymore. Lmao
Beezy’s ear is screaming for help.
😭😭😭😭😭
Happy new year fam!!!
There is no way you can compare these albums KD2 and Magic.
Nas in his Second Childhood… But in a Good way y’all ..easy 😂😂
I see what you did there 😂😂
i feel King Disease 1 was beats Hit Boy already had as well as bars Nas already had. then King's Disease 2 was Hit Boy producing for Nas style. then Magic is Hit Boy & Nas chemistry being cemented.
Thnk you guys 4 this breakdown and the flowers 4 nas
Nas fans just want him stuck in a box. The fact that some didn''t like the 1st 2 kings disease is nuts
Madness right ? 🤣
Like my man said, they can "play the Clue tapes for old verses."
Nas needs to make a 6 song ep produced by DJ Premier.
honestly I'm loving this run
@@tejadahada420 Nas doesn't need to do anything other than exactly what he's doing right now and intends to do moving forward.
People really are underestimating most of Nas’ discography…
Street Disciple was on point !!! (Thief’s theme!?!?)
Untitled was an extraordinary project
Hip Hop is Dead is iconic and could be credited to have influenced a new wave/renaissance of a certain type of HipHop
Streets disciple is vastly underrated
100%!!! Untitled is incredible daring. It has live instrumentation, political and social commentary, one of the best intro tracks ever. Rhyme schemes, content and flows.
Thief’s Theme is incredible!
Imagine saying "oh theres new top notch nas, meh Im good"
This what I was waiting for 🎯
Feefo sounds crazy
Feefo tripping I played this shit a lot
Nas even said people would talk about him not having to do this lol. Giving these bars running companies. Happy we got some other people on here that respect the music
Nas definitely throwing some jabs at Jay in that Joe Black verse. 100%
bruh you can really tell feefo is not on the mood on the top 10 stream. it also shows here.
This album is a masterclass.
8:10
This is that Griselda shit they are talking about hahaha
For 3 years it was like
Conway drops a fuckin dope ass album in may. And then comes august and he announces a colab album for september, and finishes the year with a fire EP or whatever in november
"Well.. ok then let's fuckin go 🤷♂️"
I knew it was gonna be a great album when you see Nas put up a younger picture of himself on the album cover😆 (its a ILLMatic cut picture nas didn't use)🤣 you know it gonna be good 👍 ie ILLMatic baby picture...and short like 10 to 9 songs short not 5 like that other Album everyone forgot about by now
Best channel on TH-cam PERIOD
Let's go DEHH Nas is outside Escobar been rappin rappin
Diamond cut vocals carve sculptures
Freddie and Madlib, Nas and Hitboy, these are the types of collabs we need
Nas killed this and hit boy will be a superstar producer if not already
Great review DEHH
KEn DoGG looks like Marcus Spears of ESPN Appreciate the review Whole album is Nice. Been banging this album and Pilot Talk 4 since da projects dropped
21 Savage and Metro Boomin is a hard ass duo today
I play that entire Magic album daily 👏🏾
myke hit the nail on the head when he said this was the best of the three
Anytime it's a convo about NaS ppl always gotta bring up Jay lol
Nas and Hit-Boy are two musical scientists in the lab creating
He gave Nas the best tempos to rap to. 4/4 and right tempo
Dudes just can’t mess with Nas on the mic
The Jay guy already have his opinion even before listening to Magic
