It just might be possible that Nas's less stellar albums (particularly in the 2000s and 2010s) were so because he just wasn't interested in digging that deep and giving his all to a project that won't ultimately be his. Ever since he's been on his own, there's been an entire switch in energy - especially his beat selections, which many thought was his weakness.

This project will be highly regarded in Nas catalog similar to how the original Lost Tapes was .
