Such an amazing Video Boss Thank you... I guess this was my problem.. I still have another question If my DEF is Deleted do I need the coolant on the DEF system... I mean How could I stop this line with out interrupting anything else???
I use torch heat the brass fittings, then use 1-1/4 socket remove both fitting. There are no thread inside. Then you can use knife screwdriver, it is easy and safe to remove the damaged plastics. If DEF no active, you can use 3/4 mip plugs to fix the holes. Attention the hole on the engine is a little bigger, please use some Teflon tape. If still use Def, you can use a 1/2 copper tube and mip adapter fitting, soldering them to the original fittings. You can still use the old hard hoses, connect them to the brass fitting.
I hate it when they want to reinvent hose clamps and sell it for $250. It’s crazy.

Def not active, use plugs, no engine light. Base my experience
