They also discuss what would be required for a resolution to happen in both wars.

Yep. Apparently, the U.S. said they had worked out a peace deal with Israel and HAMAs without ever telling Israel about it. So instead of being forced to adhere to the agreement, Israel assassinated the lead negotiator of HAMAs.
One thing I really don't like is that they are not telling the real numbers of lives lost. The British medical journal, the Lancet, estimated in July that 181,000 Palestinians had been murdered in Gaza. Israel has bombed every inch of Gaza in an attempt to force people out of the area for their upcoming resettlement. Even Jared Kushner (Donald Trump's son in law) has money invested in company which plans to rebuild Gaza and turn it into a tourist destination for Israel.
At the same time, I understand where Jews in Israel are coming from. The difference is they don't seem to realize their own suffering and grief is not really comparable to the people in Gaza. The IDF is just nasty and because they are not effective at all as a military ground force, they use very evil and subversive tactics to kill their enemy. For instance, the IDF at one point was playing a soundtrack of a crying baby among the rubble. Knowing they had told people to leave, or they will be considered enemy combatants, some people couldn't handle it and went to look for babies among the rubble. The IDF sniped those people. It's an evil we can't comprehend and if the Israelis get caught doing stuff like this they can always say, "Oh well, we told them to leave."
One thing is for sure, God is not on their side.
