This was great Rochelle. I went through this journey 10 years ago at 50. And here's the thing, pull the trigger on beautiful new hair and you will find that EVERY day is a great hair day!! The thing I was not prepared for was complete strangers approaching me, on a weekly basis asking, can you PLEASE tell me who cuts your hair? I did not expect that, and it rattled me a bit. And you can answer ANY WAY YOU WANT! Yes, there are a few zingers and adjustments to make once you start wearing your wigs, but it becomes 2nd nature very quickly. It's however YOU want to handle it. My first week wearing a wig out in public a young woman walks by me with her mother and says, THAT'S the haircut I want! I didn't expect people to be "fooled" and think this was my real hair!! At least try it ladies!! Try it just once! Then you get to decide if this is for you or not. We have so much fear and worry, and while you should be prepared for the compliments, you should also remember that no one really cares, everyone is focused on themselves and their own lives. Do this for yourself, no one else. But at least try it! Order your wig, and go walk around Target as a person having a great hair day!! Do it once and then proceed from there. So much great help on the internet, people like Danielle and Rochelle. You can do this, give it a try:) It turns a negative into a fun positive if you let it. Life is really hard, we have so much on our plates, don't let your natural hair bring you down, there's a wig for that!!
Ro, thanks so much for your videos. I know about wig fear, but if you have lived with thin fine hair for years it is a shock to see ourselves in thicker hair that has volume and shine. We are used to not calling after to ourselves thinking people won't notice.. Please if you are a in a fear lock, thinking people will notice, try a deeper lip color, use a pretty blush and do your brows, then put your wig on and go out somewhere, people will not notice your wig, they will be thinking what a pulled together woman, and will be envious
Awesome video Ro! I am so glad you convinced me to take the plunge, I love my wigs. I am of the thought for really hesitant folks to select as close to their hair style and color as possible, pop it on and go shopping to the mall or strolling in the park. The reality that most folks don't even notice it's a wig, they will comment on how nice the hair looks. Have an awesome week!
Lost my husband this year and the stress has caused me to lose my hair. Devastating to this girl. I have beautiful white hair, naturally and it's been hard to find the right wig and not feel like I am wearing a wig., I need to take the first step to walk out of the house and feel like I dont care what people think. baby steps.

Speak that truth, Ro! I am enjoying a small windfall and I have big plans for it--and a wig (or two...three?) is definitely on the list. The best thing you can do for yourself is give it a no-risk try! Oh that Katie in in Almond Spice R!
Don't be afraid! I've updated my wardrobe as I've aged, why not my hair?? I'm not shy about telling anyone that I'm wearing a wig. I look good and feel good. I was lucky, my husband was very supportive and an active participant in my choices.

I bought the Cristi wig from you a few years ago. It seems too thick and looks like a wig when I have it on. What wig do you suggest that is similar but not so thick? Thanks, Ricki
I'd suggest Peggy for much less lift at the top, Joy for a flat top. Our wig experts are fantastic in making suggestions too. Toll free 877 567 9447. xo Ro AND, join our Facebook Group - Godivas Secret Wig Community - almost 30,000 members who are loving, supportive and post lots of photos! xo Ro
Yes, your wigs are high quality, I have a few and love them. However, have you ever considered making wigs that have a curl pattern specifically for African American women?
Hi Lorraine, yes, in the past we certainly did - however it's much easier to get curly styles elsewhere already in black, dark black, chocolate brown, etc. So, we stay in our niche of blended lighter colors. Thanks for asking! Ro xo

Are you ok and safe from these wild fires ?
Yes, however, we've got 3 more days of high winds - skies are blue and beautiful this morning! xo Ro
@ Thank God . I was going to order a wig and I thought omg that’s where Roe lives . So do you think you can get orders out ?
@@belindanelson9823 Yes, today business as usual!! xo Ro
Still looking great in the wigs. I know im going to get your friends objecting, but the short (Quin) one didnt suit you at all😢😊
Dear Jenny, how would it be possible that everyone would like me in everything? It's fine, I don't love every single wig on myself; just most!! xo Ro
