The music that Rupa plays during her sound check was the new Diamond Dust song she just heard. Her own understated way of declaring war.

The long-haired girl at the grave is just Rupa from the past before she cut her hair. She was visiting her family’s grave. Also notice how a petal from the bouquet of flower she was holding flew into the next frame to them performing on the stage? I think that symbolized her family coming to see their performance. 🥲

Hi again! We're finally at my second fave episode in the whole series (ep8 is first to no one's surprise) I remember watching this for the first time and I was so surprised that it was over so quickly but it is so so good.
I love that Togetoge's chemistry as a band has grown so much to the point of casual bickering and their bond also reflects in their music.
Oh, to answer your question if Tomo got mad at Rupa's fan girls, during episode when the girl screamed that she will never wash again after getting hugged, Tomo was like "How about you wash your heads?" LOL
Take a shot every time Momoka gayzes at Nina throughout the episode. We'll be passed out drunk lmao. Her gayzes are present before but holy shit it's A LOT in this episode.
Personally the whole episode had this different kind of feel (the good kind). Maybe it was the anticipation of their performance, but I enjoyed it a lot. Everyone's bickering, the momonina side hug (I was grinning like an idiot here), Tomo telling Rupa to stop drinking (let her drink!!), and even Subaru finally got the courage to tell her grandma (tbh I wished we could see more of this and everything would happen on screen instead of being 'resolved' behind the scenes). Also, we finally got to see DD perform a song that's not VOID (I hate Hina but the song is good....)
And speaking of their performance, their outfits are so good and Nina looks so so cool. And is it just me or does Nina look so mature in the ep especially in the performance segment. The song is also such a banger and I keep rewatching it in YT (as of now it has 2.2M views!!! How awesome is that?). It's so addicting. But probably my favorite part is Nina's speech/MC right before the performance. It's so powerful like the song and you could hear how she was determined to prove to EVERYONE that she's right. That hers and Momoka's decision to tread this path was right.
Anyways, the series is almost ending. I'm sad but I hope you guys enjoy it.

That hug between Rupa and Tomo looked like more than friends to me, but it wouldn't kill the director to throw in a kiss so we could know for sure. I really liked the animation for the song "Emptiness and Catharsis", it was both artistic and technically impressive.
