I am glad you mentioned that Nebo is the highest point in the Wasatch range. I watch other YTbers climb to Mount Timp. That last ascent seemed very sketchy to me. The views were Beautiful. I hope you got your hot soaking bath and a massage a day later after the stiffness set in!
That was so impressive. I was glad I was watching from the safety of my chair because it looked like you could take off rolling down those steep slopes very easily. The views were beautiful and thanks for sharing it with a much less ambitious person!
It really looked worse than it felt. I felt very safe on this hike. That being said, there were times when I looked back over what we had just traversed and was shocked by how steep it appeared.

I would love to do a backpacking trip and camp along the trail sometime. That’s probably how I would have to tackle King’s Peak in the Uinta National forest. It’s the tallest in Utah.
Most of my bucket list items are hikes, now that you mention it. I want to hike Machu Pichu, Havasupai Falls, the Grand Canyon, and the Subway (in Zion). I do have a few non-hike bucket list ideas, though I don’t know how interesting they are. I want to go to NYC and see a show on Broadway. I want to visit Mt. Rushmore, drive the Road to Hana, eat at Jiro’s Sushi in Tokyo, and go tandem skydiving, to name a few.
I think you might be referring to a different hike, Mt. Timpanogos. Yes, many Utah vloggers hiked that, including us (it turned out to be a popular pandemic activity 😆). This, however, is Mt. Nebo, and I haven’t seen many other local vloggers doing this hike. At least not yet, but maybe we’ll start another trend 🤣.

I felt okay in terms of heights on this one. The hike that really made me scared of the drop off was Angels Landing in Zion. That hike is insane!

We were all actually surprised that we weren’t too stiff afterwards. I wondered if I’d see everyone at the gym today or not, but we were all there 😆.
