It's a constant powertrip from Ainz and his lackeys. Aka the author's self insert. I can get why some people likes it, especially if they are new to the world of fiction, but , honestly these kind of animes are either too common nowadays, or they are all copying one another, in any case, OP characters with OP lackeys that just go around doing whatever they want are super common, Reincarnated as a Slime, 9999 level Gacha, and I remember to have read like more, but they were so boring I completely forgot their names. And they are also boring stories, where is the struggle ? To see how long will people last before breaking down in front of an impossible power ? It's not even good in that sense since either the characters are so dumb you don't care, or are goody two shoes that are already under the MC's rule. It's a boring story really.
Wouldn't be far off of a notion tbh. Most games, casters need INT (Mana Pool and Magic Damage) and DEX (Cast Time and Concentration). But many also include LCK to prevent spells from failing (basically Dex but to a lesser extent). They mostly incorporate DEX to lower the chances of getting interrupted when channeling. But LCK also affects Magic Crit just as much as Phys Crit in almost every game so that's an added incentive to dump extra points to it. Most players do however dump extra points to VIT/CON instead of LCK just to get those few extra numbers on Def and HP instead. Lots of games also separate the functions of DEX from AGI. To separate Hit and other bonuses from DEX, from AGI's Dodge, ASpd, etc. But older games only have DEX, which was always odd to me.
I also like the idea that In-Game Lore is becoming real. Albedo can ride a bicorn just fine in-game because game devs won't give you a virginity restricted mount in a game where virginity is default and all attempts to lose said virginity is met with an immediate ban. Yet in the New World, she can't ride it anymore because the bicorn's lore came true. Overlord as a player race must have some In-Game flavor texts just like the bicorns. Heck it's an MMO, so all races playable or not should at least have some flavor texts.
