I am not sure how this special went under my radar for so many years. My favorite Christmas album when i was a kid was the John Denver & the Muppets A Christmas Together. I somehow missed this when it aired and was unaware of its existence. I did find it earlier this month and watched it a couple of times. So amazing they were able to combine all the Muppet properties in this special and to see Jim Henson also adds to the feeling of how special this program was.
This is just such a cozy little special. I watch it at least twice a year during the season. I agrree with this one being number 2. I'm assuming i lnow what mumber 1 will be. Merry Christmas:)
I saw this for the first time last year when my wife turned it on for us to watch. BTW for those of you who are fans of Boondock Saints, Doc is the Irish bar owner.
I randomly stumbled upon your channel and I agree with your ranking almost completely. Wow! While I think A Charlie Brown Christmas rightfully beats this special due to its enormous influence on television as a whole, this one is my personal favorite. It's a such a shame that it's stuck in legal limbo because the rights to all of the characters are split up. In Canada, it aired on YTV almost every year until the Muppets were acquired by Disney in 2004.
Avengers is right. I remember watching this as a kid. When Bert and Ernie and Big Bird showed up, I freaked out, just as I did when Cap called the Avengers to assemble in Endgame!
“The Avengers of the Henson Universe” may be the greatest Muppet analogy ever spoken.
Thanks I'm kinda proud of it. LOL
This is one of my favorites from growing up! I believe I ALREADY know which one is going to be Number 1!!!
shhhhh..... don't tell anybody. LOL
One of my favorites used to watch every year as a kid

Somehow I missed out on this one even though I love muppets. I need to hunt this down.
go watch it. You won't be disappointed

Thanks for watching. I'm tried to look at all the specials without my bias. A Charlie Brown Christmas is essentially deserves the top spot.
