    your hammer housing assembly has got to be the best way to put it all together. of all the videos i watched on youtube on that particular assembled subunit, non had done it the way you did. the other methods all had the installer trying to hold that spring in the cocked position and that makes the installation almost impossible for a newbie like myself. thanks to you i will no longer be afraid of taking that hammer housing apart~

    Thank you so much. I used this video along with the disassembly guide to convert my WE to TM running springs and valves. All this applies to Gel Blasters (I am in dystopia australia) same principals apply. BTW a WE Gen3 cost me USD175 give or take and a new outta the box TM costs USD800 give or take. The spring and valve kit cost me next to nothing -- very few guys here know how to do a COMPETENT task.

    Like the top commentor I have the same timberwolf, no lower upgrades but I thought my trigger got stuck againbecause it happens from blue moon to blue moon and that requires the entire teardown.
    I forgot about the trigger lock airsoft g series have and that may have been the culprit instead of the trigger just locking up like it has done before.
    This thing is really old and worn the fuck out and im suprised it still works.

    i lost my valve reset knocker and it seems my gun works fine but it seems a lot less gas efficient is that an issue?

    • @CJAwesome83
      @CJAwesome83  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, that is an issue. The valve reset knocker resets the valve knocker and closes the gas flow when the slide blows back. You need to replace it!

  • @slzslz
    @slzslz 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Great tutorial! Gotta ask you, on my KJW Glock 19, i get light striking. Everyone said the hammer spring so i replaced it, using this guide. Problem still persists...what should i try now?

    • @CJAwesome83
      @CJAwesome83  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Could be that your valve knocker is worn or broken and not striking the magazine valve fully which would explain why an upgraded hammer spring did not solve the issue.

    Is the real glock 19 frame parts can fit into that polymer frame?

  • @lmostayoutuber
    @lmostayoutuber 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I built a g26 with a nova kit using a kjw g27 donor gun,but its too stiff on first cocking, if I dont pull the trigger it cocks ok, but if I cock it and pull the trigger its hard to cock again,so its the wheel or the hammer thats provides too much resistance, replaced the wheel with a 6mm bearing but it still vents after the first shot, should I use a weaker hammer spring?

    • @CJAwesome83
      @CJAwesome83  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hrmmm. Not too good with those specific issues but yeah, sounds like you should try a softer hammer spring in it. Because when the pistol fires and it blows back, if it does not have enough force to blow the slide all the way back it will not trip the valve reset knocker which will leave the magazine valve open and vent all the gas. You could also possibly try a weaker recoil spring but that will impact the overall feel and snappiness of the pistol so that would be my second choice.

    Hey I’m having a problem. My Glock no longer cycles fully and I’ve replaced the hammer spring twice now 140% and 120% I’m staring to suspect my hammer sear spring is messed up and that’s the reason why but idk how to test this without ordering parts from Japan

    • @CJAwesome83
      @CJAwesome83  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Don't think you can test that theory without extra parts. However, one other thing it could be is a worn magazine catch, meaning the magazine is not seating fully up against the nozzle, meaning too much gas escapes when firing, and not being powerful enough to cycle the slide fully.
      Try gently pushing the magazine up in the frame when firing and see if that helps, if yes, you need a new magazine catch button.

    • @julianrivera2536
      @julianrivera2536 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CJAwesome83 I finally found my issue, I use a aps nozzle with the DP light weight bbu because its looser inside the bbu removing a point of wear that used to mess up my cycling for a long time when I had a GA nozzle and it works perfect with the Poseidon ice pix ice breaker piston head and flute valve setup I have but there’s one thing, it uses a single pin to hold the flute valve in rather then the regular nozzle setup. I ended up finding it have become loose and the flute valve no longer fully closed. I glued it with a tiny drop of jbweld and it all worked again!! Also yes the mag is seating nicely for now but thanks for the heads up when it will happen! Glad my Glock works!

      @@CJAwesome83 yeh I had finally found a very unconventional way of doing this step by putting it on a table at a certain angle and forcing it in with body wait. I remember it was a painful ordeal.

      @@CJAwesome83 oh dude, that was a painful experience, I think because my block is new , the spring was very tight and the part is a tiny bit different. I just couldn’t hold it there under pressure with my fat fingers. So I finally worked out that if I got it kind of in place then flip it up side down on a table and put a screw driver on top of that part, I could then push down on it with more pressure. I was so happy once I had it in there.
      Thanks for your tutorial mate, it helped a lot and would have been impossible if I had to include that center part at the same time.
