If you had to fight a cobra without any tools or weapons know that for the cobra, it’s win condition is to land one strike. That win condition can be satisfied pretty quick and you would be wise to be slow and meticulous with how you engage against this cobra. In this sport, these two combatants have similarly quick win conditions of their own and thus justifiably approach things slow against each other. Hope that helps!

GR is the best nogi grappler in the world. At the moment he is basically untouchable. This being a no time limit sub only match, the only way to win is via tap. In the last few weeks, there were some sub only matches that went way to long. Sub only is pretty boring to watch in my opinion.
If you are looking for some more action jiu jitsu, I highly recommend the ADCC coming up in a few weeks. It's the biggest grappling tournament on the planet and they have a ruleset that makes it much more entertaining to watch.

Yeah, the first half he looked extremely tentative but after Gordon took top Kyle actually engaged in the attacks and forcing Gordon to actually work.
I think a lot of guys lose to Gordon not only because he is a superior grappler but also because they respect his game way too much to the point they're afraid to play their own game.

Besides Galvao, how many world champions has he beaten in his last 10-15 matches?
He’s very good yes, but who is he beating? He’s beating good guys, game guys, but not world champions.
He submitted Galvao but Andre is 40 years old.
In the last 5 years, when Gordon rough Simoes, Rocha, and Buchecha (all gi or nogi world champions) he either won off decision or like 1-0.
When he starts submitting world champions under the age of 35, I think we can start to give him more cred.

Gordan Ryan is making a name for himself in No Gi however, however, Gordan Ryan is not the greatest Jiu Jitsu player of all time, you would have to also be just as complete in Gi as well as No Gi. Gordan doesn't do Gi for a reason! Stop labeling people as the Greatest Ever, when in fact he's not the greatest ever. You need to dominate both categories to carry that title. Not too long ago you guys were calling Marcelo Garcia the Greatest Ever, before that it was Roger Gracie and before that it was Rickson Gracie. Roger and Rickson dominated in both No Gi and Gi. Marcelo was a No Gi God, now Ryan is walking through stuff but he can't be the greatest when he's two down to Pena. Ryan may have gotten much better and his approach is amazing, he's aggressive without being too physical and he's only looking for the position he wants, he's not concerned with your game just his and it works every time. I see a lot of his opponents waiting to see what he's going to do next and that gives him the time to set up his position! The man is amazing but you still have to do both Gi and no Gi to be considered the greatest BJJPlayer of all time!

@@jesse3370 gi is great. When i started BJJ a few months ago i thought it was dumb. But it adds another dimension to grappling. I really enjoy it. I suggest giving it a legit try. The best part of it is that it is really similar to real life. At my bachelor party, we started (drunkenly) wrestling each other. My buddies were wearing zip up hoodies. Theyre just like a gi.
