yea the reason why it works in sekiro is because that's basically the basis for the entire game. Without it, trying to find an opening for a deathblow, especially for main bosses, would take a lot more patience
I feel like this argument wouldn't hold much weight in the long run. A stun bar would help a lot more people than annoy those who'd ignore it. Stun is already a mechanic in the game. it'd be nice if both parties can keep track of those stats during the fight rather than second-guess. What would be the harm in that?
True Monk is truly incredible. The arena and music are some of FromSoft's finest work. My favourite fights in these games tend to be ones with dance-like cadence and feel - when I saw her make that giant leap and strike a kabuki pose, I knew it was going to be good.
I feel like if you count him as a boss. Armored Soldier is one of my favourite fights, both lore wise and the fight itself with you having to kick him off the bridge. Truly underrated.
@@HarshManoharStrike me all you like, I am unbreakable. I found his English vouce somewhat better. Also, I used to get deathblow everytime but he didn't die, I thought it was a glitch due to using a reshade.
Seriously. I knew it was disturbing from what I'd seen and heard, but fighting him myself made it hit differently. I'm not sure if I was overleveled a bit or what, but he was a tad easier than I was expecting. He killed me on my first attempt and then I spent 10 or so minutes taking potshots at the 2 massive knights guarding the way to him. I do love how much stuff the hid behind his arena too.
Agreed. He is one of the few bosses that is genuinely terrifying to fight. His fast move set really emphasizes how vicious and animalistic he has become. Top tier.
Absolutely that fight is so much fun every time. It's pretty easy so I never really die to it but it's still just a very mechanically well designed boss
honestly Godrick to me is like the Abyss Watchers in DS3, an objectively easy fight but everything within it is so well put together that its a fight i really wish was more difficult or lasted longer, each is an absolutely wonderful spectacle. it is plainly way too fun to be over that quickly
Abyss Watchers are way easier than Godrick. If you fight both at an appropriate level, Abyss Watchers are still a piece of cake, whereas Godrick can F you up if you're not careful. Still not difficult, but definitely not an ''easy'' fight, IMO.
Lol, “objectively easy fight”. DS3 was my first souls game and I spent 5-6 hours on abyss watchers, definitely the hardest main boss in that game for me. I don’t think there’s much objectivity regarding boss difficulty.
there is no such thing as objective difficulty, statements like this are why I can't take the word "objective" seriously. I've seen countless accounts of the Watchers being the most difficult boss in a playthrough
I never played any souls games before Elden Ring, and watching my friend fight Godrick and seeing the phase change cutscene was the moment where I was like "I NEED to play this game." Cutting off a dragon's head and using it as a flamethrower is just another level of badass.
I once stated The Demon Prince to be the most underrated boss in all of Souls, it's nice seeing that fight get the recognition it deserves. I also fully agree on Godrick. I'm not a fan of most bosses in Elden Ring, but he easily took the spot as my favorite fight. He deals reasonable damage which makes it an interesting back and forth instead of a constant vigor check, most of his attacks are well telegraphed with not much unusual delay, he's the source behind some great memes and has an awesome 2nd phase transition. I wish more ER fights were as fun as Godrick.
Demon of Hatred is more overhated than underrated. My personal favourite fight in the game, due to the lore, music, visuals, and fight itself. True Corrupted Monk would definitely be second tho.
1 Demon Prince(s) 2 Abyss Watchers 3 Smough & Ornstein 4 Shadows of Yharnam 5 ...almost want to say Godskin Duo since they actualy have different moves, but I'll probably never do it without Spirit Summoning, so kinda invalid. Agree/disagree?
DS2 was my first souls game, and the pursuer was the first boss I ever got stuck on (since the last giant is a bit of a pushover). It took me a really long time to beat him, but I learned so much about how to play souls games, and when I finally got him it was super satisfying. Dragon Slayer Armor is definitely an underrated boss as well. One of my favorite in DS3.
with the shadows of yharnam my strategy is always to cheese the fireball thrower with bone marrow ash and a cannon, it makes the fight much less stressful
Mine for Elden Ring is probably "Dragonkin Soldier of Nokstella" I think by the time peoplenreached this boss if they even reached it at all, they were overlevelled and did not find the fight that fun. ME on the other hand was just the right level but also a newbie(first souls game after sekiro for me) wasnt familiar with sharpness not being effective against armored bosses so this took me some time but it is probably my favorite sideboss in entirety of Elden Ring. That phase 2 transition hit hard when it started flying around and everything. Cool boss
Elemer is absolutely amazing, but I definitively didn't think he was easy, in fact he gave me more trouble than most bosses in the game... love his style, he looks more like a horror movie villain than a knight in a medieval world and I love that, specially how he appears randomly near merchants at night. If he had gotten a unique theme it would have been even better.
Definitely agree with Godrick. Such a fun fight. It’s too bad I rage quit to Royal Revenant before I got to beat him lol Also how would you feel about doing best/worst weapons from every souls game?
I actually respecced my character so I could use radhans swords. Strength and intelligence for it and I was too invested in dex. Glad I did though because they stagger things like crazy and I upgraded them increasing their potency. Also radahn is just so dope
Godrick is definitely the most underrated boss in Elden Ring. Margit may be a gatekeeper but Godrick is a tester of your game knowledge. Dude have literally everything you need to know from jumping attacks to posture breaking. And on the topic of posture breaking. I don't think it's a good idea to put a posture bar in the Elden Ring UI. In Sekiro posture breaking was the main focus, while in ER downing HP is main focus - breaking posture is a playstyle. It's a absolutely fun playstyle but not everyone use it. It's like having a cookies in front of your face but being not allowed to eat them because you don't do something (not using heavy attacks or "heavier" spells) And the sound of poise breaks... It's like slapping a boss with a nuke in the face. 10/10, best mechanic in Elden Ring. Sekiro is amazing but great hammer in the face is more satisfying for me
Demon princes I feel are on a redemption arc in the community. And rightfully so, I love that fight. And corrupted monk is an awesome fight as well that needs more recognition.
Glad to see someone else shares my love for the Shadows of Yharnam It is a masterclass on gank fights. Best in the series imo For Elden Ring I'd say Godskin Apostle tho
Lady Butterfly is the most underrated boss in Sekiro for me. It's easy yes, but the choreography, arena and fight itself is beautiful. One of my favorite bosses
Borealis would be my pick for Elden Ring. Regular dragon fights are so fun in this game, and this is the ultimate one, with a cinemati "frozen lake" twist and dangerous frost moves. The intro to this boss, with you riding Torrent straight at his screaming jaws through the fog, is just epic. Kudos for bringing up Shadows of Yharnam, brilliantly paced boss.
Idk, in my totally anecdotal experience it suffers from Elden Rings hyper scaling. My first encounter with Borealis was at night. I rode onto the lake I heard the boss music and saw the health bar, couldn't see the boss or lock on in the dark mist, tried to continue riding, got one shot from the frost breath that appeared out of nowhere with no warning out of the mist which it looked almost identical too
@@oakleyraverty1030 I really don't like this saying, but I feel like that if you got oneshot, you didn't have very high vigor. Could be wrong, could've been weird horse hitboxes and an unlucky frost proc and your point is still valid.
@@supremeclamitas5053 I mean sure, but I either had 50 or 60 vig + Erdtree Favour +1(I think), so it probably was a frost proc , but either way there was very little counterplay.
@@oakleyraverty1030 I know the rot dragon has a big nearly unavoidable attack where it breathes a big rot cloud right in front of him, so that might've been what you saw with Borealis. Also make sure you weren't using Radagon's Soreseal; those reduce your damage negation and are a noob trap since they become hinderances in the lategame as the extra vigor gets overshadowed by that downside.
KING! Demon Princes are SO slept on and I only truly realised this when I last played thru DS3 while waiting for Elden Ring. Demon Princes are the BEST duo fight that they've done.
Elemer is a straight up masterpiece. If he had more significance in the story and was given his own theme, he would easily be one of the best in the game imo.
I watch all your movies, but only the Demon's Souls and Bloodborne parts, since I've played just those two (actually, currently finishing my first Demon's Souls playthrough), and when I saw the title of this one, I immediately thought "too bad no one's ever mention Shadows of Yharnam" and bam, here it is. They are plain horror! Thank you for that!
You're absolutely right on the corrupted monk man. He is hard enough to pose as a challenge, but easy enough to get down. You did it once again and made another awesome list ❤. Looking forward to your next video!
A boss that's actually slept on in DS3 is Iudex Gundyr, the very first boss of the game. And the reason for that is that it shows you most, if not all major mechanics that the game throws at you, Iudex is arguably the best tutorial boss in any of the games. First of all he's parryable, secondly he has a 2nd phase and you really learn a lot from fighting him, like the fact that you can hit him before the fight even starts and also during the transition to phase 2, since you get 20-30 seconds of free damage during the fight, you learn to jump in and take advantage of the bosses downtime.
He's also tough while being fair. He's not an insurmountable wall like some bosses. He's faster without being extremely fast. I learned more from him than I have from any other tutorial bosses in their games. Asylum Demon is far too easy in DS1 and doesn't really teach much. Same for that Grafted Scion boss in Elden Ring. Well, I guess Margit is technically a tutorial boss, but with the game being open world, there really isn't a tutorial boss for that game. Oh, that soldier in the tutorial cave area and that was just far too easy to count for anything. The Cleric Beast and Father Gascoigne are good in Bloodborne, but they're also not really tutorial bosses. Cleric Beast can be treated like a faster Dark Souls boss. Gascoigne teaches the player how to fight against other hunters, but then changes tune when he transforms into a beast. But neither boss really shows the player anything all that new compared to what they've been fighting on the way to each boss.
Was really hoping to see Micolash in the Bloodborne section. The mechanics of a boss fight are top priority ofc, but you can't tell me Micolash doesn't go extra hard in terms of atmosphere and all that external drive to squash him.
Agreed. At seeing the Shadows on the list I'd forgotten about Micolash. He took me just 2 attempts and on my first attempt he led me right to the first room and then again in phase 2 where he then killed me with that Call Beyond because I really mistimed a dodge. On my second attempt, however, he led me on a merry chase for at least 5 minutes before he went to the first room and then for phase 2 he again led me all over the place. I saved that clip and that fight was nearly 10 minutes with probably at least 8 minutes being me chasing his chickenshit ass around his library. I do love all the talking he does and the mocking howls and such.
Finished Elden Ring a few weeks ago after 130 hours and now I'm starting a full playthrough of the soulsbourne series (at least whats on PC, DS1, DS2, DS3, Sekiro). Ever since i got into Elden Ring your videos have been super addicting and I've watched every single one
Recently purchased one of the Dont give up skeleton shirts and was surprised to get a handwritten note from the man himself! Really appreciated that and I’m glad to have bought a shirt
I think Gaping Dragon is a good choice for DS1 on this list, but the other fight from that game that I think is particularly underrated is the Iron Golem. I like the creepy design of the golem, being such a giant humanoid with a tiny head wearing shiny armor-- it makes you kind of wonder if there's any sort of humanity inside that suit of armor or if it is just a soulless monstrosity. Also I think the arena you fight him in is very cool, being on a dangerously narrow walkway at the top of Sen's Fortress, a dungeon which felt to me a lot like some kind of forest temple from Zelda, having a sense of mystery surrounding it and making me wonder what would be waiting for me when I reached the top.
To me the most slept on boss in Elden Ring is definitely Commander Naill. The knights were never an issue to me since one is so aggressive and the other so passive It's just 2 1v1s, and his 2nd phase is just awesome. He feels so fair yet so aggressive with a moveset that rewards aggression from the player which I love. Sure he's a bit easy, but other than that I just love this boss.
Can you please do the most over hated bosses? I always think about Yhorm. A lot of players hated on him for being a gimmick boss, but I look forward to it every playthrough
I don’t know why but I had an absolute blast fighting the gargoyle duo fight, it was a perfect mix of one runs in and the other sits back, but the that sat back speed poison, I had fun dying and learning their moves and eventually was confident enough to fight Black Death gargoyle, pushed him over in like 2 tries.
Good list Ember! Here is my list: Demon Souls: Penetrator Dark Souls 1: Iron Golem Dark Souls 2: Old Dragonslayer Dark Souls 3: Dragonslayer Armour Elden Ring: Godrick the Grafted (and Godskin Apostle for miniboss) Haven't played Bloodbourne or Sekiro yet so can't really rank them.
@MinecraftLapsedd That's right. There is a lot of top tier bosses in DS3 and I have seen too many tier lists where Dragonslayer Armour is put to like C-tier(??). Lately I have seen some Champion Gundyr disrespect also so he might be underrated too.
@@smoothyodaproductions4373 Yes I like Ornstein :D he is not as good in DS2 but he is still better than most of the main game bosses and the OST is good. Iron Golem is quite easy yeah but as you said it's also fun
My personal DS3 underrated and probably up there in my favourite bosses would be Dragonslayer armour mostly cause I feel from the game it comes from I find it to be one of the few plain and fair bosses (no extra gimmicks no suprised just you and the boss) I also find the trick move it has to be funny as well as a nice suprise. Also happy to fight it a second time in Ringed City
Much love for picking the Gaping Dragon. I love that little Nope so much. It has no real story (except for "probably a Dragon crashed into the Underground and corrupted there"), the fight is really easy and it is an optional boss aswell, but I still love it. it just has this feeling of "dungeon exploring". Also the boss actually gets kinda hard if you are cursed, because then he will probably one-shot you with every touch.
I'm glad to find someone who appreciates Godrick as much as I do, seeing him for the first time after fighting through Stormveil was so cool, especially when phase 2 started, that set the tone for the entire game for me and told me I was in for something truly special.
Ember has shot up to be one of my favourite soulsborne content creators along with Vaatividya. Keep doing what your doing Ember. Content is always entertaining and a guaranteed click when I see it
I actually want to see that the Pursuer gets more respect because he’s awesome, one of the best bosses in the game, one of my favorite bosses, and he’s the only boss who’s pursuing you before you defeat him and after you defeat him.
I have to disagree with the pursuer being underrated. Not only is it a punishing fight until you learn the moveset, but also the broken hitboxes (looking at you, grab attack) and the repeated encounters make the guy a very popular boss. Is he a bad boss? Not really, but also not underrated. I would go with Lost Sinner as the underrated boss, despite dislinking 1 or 2 of her attacks that seem off paced.
DS3 demon prince is my favorite gank fight in all souls, perfectly balanced. but for ER, Fortissax and hoarah loux, the spectacle and the ost of Godwyn's bff is so underrated.
Demons souls - I feel like most people would put penetrator at 2nd or 3rd, so I don’t really see how he’s underrated, I honestly think Phalanx is the most underrated, it’s a generic group of enemies boss but the way you handle it is pretty interesting and it’s one of the few bosses in the game where you have to think to defeat it. DS1 - I feel like very few people would fight gaping dragon on repeat runs because they would just skip the depths all together, overall the bosses in DS1 are pretty bad besides Ornstein and Smough, so I’d probably give it to anything you enjoy besides Bed of Chaos. DS2 - Same with DS1 and Demons Souls how all the bosses are extremely easy or just generic, anything really works here, I’d say Demon of Song, he’s just cool, and that’s really all. BB - Totally agree, one of the few base game bosses I actually enjoy. DS3 - 100% Agree, was my all time fav boss for a bit, 5th fav out of all the games too. ER - Honestly, Malenia. All I really hear is how hard she is, rarely do I really hear the praise of how fair and balanced she is as a boss, she’s extremely satisfying to dodge, and super fun to fight, not to mention ironically one of the most fair fights ever made by FromSoft, easily my fav boss out of all the games.
Twin princes and D-slayer armor were my favorite summons for sure, but the demon prince is definitely the first thing that comes to mind on underrated bosses in souls for me
Absolutely agree with your elden ring choices, always loved godrick and his theme... GOD that's one of the best themes in the game. And for Elemer, one of my favorite bosses overall, for some reason I ADORE that fight, I think it has something to do with the tough "knight" enemy 1v1 in such a cozy arena (love that warm dining room at the top of a castle kinda thing), but I always look forward eagerly to fight him 🛐
I think The corrupted 2nd phase instakill is intentional . That is why she kinda has 3 phase and not being a main boss. She only appears when you stand on a certain branch. And it's execute animation is unique. It is not like you can encounter a normal enemy variant in the open fields. If it wasn't intended one of them would be patched out.
I remember before it was released, From showed a demo of that fight and mentioned there being a secret way to finish it faster. So I'm pretty sure it's intentional. The 1st phase one wasn't though. I'm pretty sure that one got patched out.
You want a mini-boss rematch turned up to 11 in Elden Ring, go to the merchant shack in Caelid at night. The Bell Bearing Hunter comes and he is rough. Mind you, there are others, but the guy in Caelid comes at you like you stole his lunch.
the shadows of yharnam fight is brutal on ng+ and beyond because each shadow gets a health bar that is pretty much that of a regular boss so it's like fighting three actual bosses at the same time that deal crazy damage
It’s so interesting to see people discuss which bosses were harder for them. In Elden Ring for example. Malenia is almost unanimously difficult, but I personally died to the Briar Guy several times and absolutely wrecked a lot of the endgame bosses minus Malenia and Godfrey
I agree with a lot of this. Demon Prince is one of the best bosses in DS3 and hardly anyone talks about it. I think it's far more enjoyable than certain other fan favourites that I don't really like that much, such as Friede and Midir that, IMO, really only get rated highly because of their difficulty and not much else.
Elemer of the Briar is too easy? He kicks my ass constantly that and every bell bearing hunter I face. His range surprises me every single time and I always roll into his attacks
YESSS, demon princes rep haha also i'm surprised the corrupted monk is so underrated, ngl she was my favourite boss in the game, the visuals and the music are so good and she's so fun to fight
You can trivialize the shadow bit in the Sekiro true monk fight by using the umbrella prosthetic imbued with the power to protect against the supernatural. Just unfold it and watch as they bash helplessly against it.
Gaping Dragon is really easy to dodge but once you get hit you're health bar gets easily chopped into half. Also, he has an earthquake attack which can render you in a permanent stagger-death-dance.
Dang the demon souls boss could pass for a Shardbearer from the Stormlight archives. If you come across this message, I'd Highly recommend either listening or reading a book called, "The Way of Kings" it's an epic masterpiece.
I completed Bloodborne for the first time earlier this week and it was a hell of a ride. I love the Shadow of Yharnam fight. I managed to kill them on my first attempt and I did go into that fight terrified. I was more scared of having to do the run back to them if I got killed. I chewed through my blood vials like mad, but I handled the fight pretty well. I'm not sure I actually saw the snake summon at all when I was down to just 1 Shadow. Even though I was outnumbered it never felt unfair. Now, the gank fight of the Living Failures majorly sucked for me. I couldn't get a handled on the fight and ended up summoning Yamamura to help me with them. I'm also finally to both DLC in DS3. I took a break from it to complete Bloodborne, but I made it all the way through the main game before I stopped to refocus on Bloodborne. I've seen others fight the Demon Princes and I'm rather excited for it. It definitely gets slept on. I play offline and while I know I can summon Laap and/or Gael for it, I might try it solo for a bit. Even though it being 2v1 worries me a bit. I am going to look up the fight again before I get there so that I can remember which one to try to kill first. I'd rather fight the Demon Prince with the laser than the Demon Prince with the meteor attacks. I hated those things in Smoldering Lake and would rather not deal with a boss doing that attack at me. I had a lot of fun with Dragonslayer Armor and his music is among the best in a game already filled with great music. Champion Gundyr was a rough fight (with an annoying af run to get to him), but it was fun. I tried parrying him, but I think I was slightly off with the timing or just too far away, because I'd parry him but then the game wouldn't let me land the critical on him. I'm going to see if I'm better at parries in DS3 since fighting Lady Maria and the Orphan of Kos taught me how to parry in Bloodborne. Godrick was initially impressive, but if I ever fight him again (I'm a bit burned out on Elden Ring and I'm nowhere near the end of it) I'm going to do it differently. I went in with Nepheli (the woman NPC we can summon) and summoned Aurelia the jellyfish. I killed him on my first attempt and it honestly wasn't even me. That woman got in the final hit. I can't tell if bringing her and using the jellyfish spirit made the fight too easy or if I was overleveled or if it was a combination of factors, but that fight was far too easy for what I was expecting. Same for Radahn. I went in again scared and I think he took me just 4 attempts, and I didn't even summon that many of the NPCs to help. As for Sekiro, I'm going back to that one once I've finished DS3. I need to be able to properly focus on that game and be able to completely get the muscle memory down without interference from other FromSoftware games.
personal list Demon's Souls: Armored Spider- It's an easy fight but a very unique and memorable tug of war I really enjoyed Dark Souls 1: Manus, yes he's always dubbed as the hardest, yes he isn't forgotten, but compared to Kalameet and Artorias, he's overlooked in the DLC and I personally love its change of pace. Dark Souls 2: Meh Dark souls 3: I agree with the Demon Princes honestly Sekiro: GYOBU MASATAKA ONIWA!! However Fire Isshin could also go here Elden Ring: True Latenna/Astel
Man, imagine if Elemer's second phase was him using his shield telekinetically as well, maybe also attacking with his fists if he's levitating his weapons too.
I was gonna say Guardian Ape for most underrated in Sekiro until you said the True Corrupted Monk and i have to concur. Decent list btw WatchMojo of Souls, I mean, Ember 😅
I believe that Halflight is an underrated fight. It’s not bad, the boss music is epic, and it doesn’t deserve the hate it gets. It gets so hated on despite not being a bs bossfight
Probably because it's an Old Monk scenario for the players playing online and having to fight another player as a boss and dealing with lag and such. I'm not yet to that fight (just started the DS3 DLC), but since I play these games offline I'll be able to fight actual Halflight and not another player. The other issue might be from the 3 Painted Guardians that get summoned in and just how much damage they can do (how easily they and Halflight can stunlock the player).
I'm surprised my favorite DS3, Sekiro and ER bosses are considered underrated by you, reaffirms my choice of how much I love them. Demon Prince is a FANTAAASTIC fight, True Monk is the fight that made me love Sekiro and Godrick is legit the only Shard Bearer I truly enjoyed fighting. His music is the most memorable one for me and I sometimes fall asleep listening to it.

Shadows of Yharnam is one of the best gank fights FS has ever done. Seriously happy seeing it here.
Top 5 gangs
1 Demon Prince(s)
2 Abyss Watchers
3 Smough & Ornstein
4 Shadows of Yharnam
5 ...almost want to say Godskin Duo since they actualy have different moves, but I'll probably never do it without Spirit Summoning, so kinda invalid.
Agree/disagree?
@@Metalton95 I'd put shadows above Ornstein and Smough
@@Metalton95 Darklurker.
One of my favorites and the Sentinels are as well. They are funny with how twirly they are
Gonna love the list !!!
I posted this like 20 seconds ago 🤣🤣
@@EmberPlays and he already loves it
DS2 was my first souls game, and the pursuer was the first boss I ever got stuck on (since the last giant is a bit of a pushover). It took me a really long time to beat him, but I learned so much about how to play souls games, and when I finally got him it was super satisfying. Dragon Slayer Armor is definitely an underrated boss as well. One of my favorite in DS3.
i think the most underrated boss in Elden Ring is Lichdragon Fortissax, such a cinematic and cool boss with an amazing lore behind it
with the shadows of yharnam my strategy is always to cheese the fireball thrower with bone marrow ash and a cannon, it makes the fight much less stressful
Armored warrior in Sekiro his lore is awesome and way of killing him is way different than any other fight
Mine for Elden Ring is probably "Dragonkin Soldier of Nokstella"
I think by the time peoplenreached this boss if they even reached it at all, they were overlevelled and did not find the fight that fun.
Cool boss
Probably my favorite design in the whole game ngl
@@dreadlord1265 About time someone agreed
Elemer is absolutely amazing, but I definitively didn't think he was easy, in fact he gave me more trouble than most bosses in the game... love his style, he looks more like a horror movie villain than a knight in a medieval world and I love that, specially how he appears randomly near merchants at night. If he had gotten a unique theme it would have been even better.
It took me too long to realise you're suppose to fight him up close
@@slimetunersis5373Haha yeah those floaty sword strikes and gap closers make him a pain at range haha
The purse user is extremely underrated, super memorable and amazing design
The purse user 🤣
Dragonslayer Armor is definitely the most underrated for me in DS3.
If it wasnt for the aoe effect the dragons do in phase 2 being so poorly telegraphed I would agree
Definitely agree with Godrick. Such a fun fight. It’s too bad I rage quit to Royal Revenant before I got to beat him lol
Also how would you feel about doing best/worst weapons from every souls game?
I actually respecced my character so I could use radhans swords. Strength and intelligence for it and I was too invested in dex. Glad I did though because they stagger things like crazy and I upgraded them increasing their potency. Also radahn is just so dope
So happy you pick demon Prince in dark souls 3, such a fun fight, most underrated boss in the series imo.
darn you ember and you’re ability to make me want to play thru these games again
It's like having a cookies in front of your face but being not allowed to eat them because you don't do something (not using heavy attacks or "heavier" spells)
And the sound of poise breaks...
Glad to see someone else shares my love for the Shadows of Yharnam
It is a masterclass on gank fights. Best in the series imo
For Elden Ring I'd say Godskin Apostle tho
Lady Butterfly is the most underrated boss in Sekiro for me. It's easy yes, but the choreography, arena and fight itself is beautiful. One of my favorite bosses
Easy he says lmao that boss gave me so much trouble when i started that game
1:53 That dodge over The Gaping Dragons tail was clean
He actually has a bit more to him if you look into it
I watch all your movies, but only the Demon's Souls and Bloodborne parts, since I've played just those two (actually, currently finishing my first Demon's Souls playthrough), and when I saw the title of this one, I immediately thought "too bad no one's ever mention Shadows of Yharnam" and bam, here it is. They are plain horror! Thank you for that!
Super solid picks bro. Shadows, true monk, and Demon Prince are absolutely phenomenal
For reallll
You're absolutely right on the corrupted monk man. He is hard enough to pose as a challenge, but easy enough to get down. You did it once again and made another awesome list ❤. Looking forward to your next video!
corrupted monk is female
Damn you're in for a ride, enjoy these games !
Make sure you go in that order as being used to the speed of DS3 and Sekiro shall really hinder your enjoyment of DS 1&2.
If you want Elemer of Briar with more health, then go fight Caelid's Bell bearing hunter. That shit is straight up pain.
You make the best Fromsoft vids bro
thanks :)
Pursuer: You gotta hit the parry
Me: Oh you sweet, summer child. You don't know the power of the barrel strats.
Good list Ember! Here is my list:
Demon Souls: Penetrator
Dark Souls 1: Iron Golem
Dark Souls 2: Old Dragonslayer
Dark Souls 3: Dragonslayer Armour
Elden Ring: Godrick the Grafted (and Godskin Apostle for miniboss)
Haven't played Bloodbourne or Sekiro yet so can't really rank them.
@MinecraftLapsedd That's right. There is a lot of top tier bosses in DS3 and I have seen too many tier lists where Dragonslayer Armour is put to like C-tier(??). Lately I have seen some Champion Gundyr disrespect also so he might be underrated too.
I might be wrong but i think you like ornstein. Also iron golem hella underrated, hes easy but its a super fun fight. I agree on all these
@@smoothyodaproductions4373 Yes I like Ornstein :D he is not as good in DS2 but he is still better than most of the main game bosses and the OST is good. Iron Golem is quite easy yeah but as you said it's also fun
@@Salahuoneen_lapsi his theme in ds2 is my favorite in the entire game tho
Well… it was corrupted by the trash thrown down below… it is the manifestation of the Depths and to an extent Blight Town.
Dragonkin Soldier of Nokstella was so pleasing for my eyes and ears and gave me alot of midir vibes
Content is always entertaining and a guaranteed click when I see it
Thank you :))))
Champion Gundyr is one of my all-time favorite Souls boss fights; the music, the move set, the whole fight is epic.
I’m with you on True Corrupted Monk. The arena, the dance like move set and three phases. I feel Sekiro is underrated overall due to it’s difficulty.
Glad to know im not the only one who loves the demon prince boss fight
My favorite thing on ghost corrupted monk is jumping off that shrine in the back and one shotting her with the deathblow
The giant snakes with the shadows of yharnam only happen when there is one left, just to let you know great video
Whoa! Excellent outro!!
I totally agree corrupted monk is underrated. I really like false corrupted monk, more so than true monk, it is just so much fun parrying her attacks.
DS1: Bell Gargoyles
DS2: Sinh
DS3: Dragonslayer Armor
Bloodborne: Gascoigne
Sekiro: Demon of Hatred
Elden Ring: Godrick and Fortissax
From games I have completed or come close to completing:
DS1: Iron Golem
DS2: Ruin Sentinels
DS3: Demon Prince
Sekiro: True Corrupted Monk
That outro was insane
Elemer of the Briar is too easy? He kicks my ass constantly that and every bell bearing hunter I face. His range surprises me every single time and I always roll into his attacks
YESSS, demon princes rep haha
also i'm surprised the corrupted monk is so underrated, ngl she was my favourite boss in the game, the visuals and the music are so good and she's so fun to fight
I’m happy to see someone appreciate true monk
You can trivialize the shadow bit in the Sekiro true monk fight by using the umbrella prosthetic imbued with the power to protect against the supernatural. Just unfold it and watch as they bash helplessly against it.
Gaping Dragon is really easy to dodge but once you get hit you're health bar gets easily chopped into half.
Also, he has an earthquake attack which can render you in a permanent stagger-death-dance.
I love fortisax and think he's underrated Af
Dang the demon souls boss could pass for a Shardbearer from the Stormlight archives. If you come across this message, I'd Highly recommend either listening or reading a book called, "The Way of Kings" it's an epic masterpiece.
elmer was one of my hardest fights lmao. but after beating him i was so happy, even though i lost like 90k souls fighting him
Will you do play throughs of the souls games at some point? Great video btw!
The false Monk is super underrated to me. Idk what it is about that fight, but I looked forward to it on every playthrough of Sekiro
We need the best soundtracks in every souls games video .
personal list
Demon's Souls: Armored Spider- It's an easy fight but a very unique and memorable tug of war I really enjoyed
Dark Souls 1: Manus, yes he's always dubbed as the hardest, yes he isn't forgotten, but compared to Kalameet and Artorias, he's overlooked in the DLC and I personally love its change of pace.
Dark Souls 2: Meh
Dark souls 3: I agree with the Demon Princes honestly
Sekiro: GYOBU MASATAKA ONIWA!! However Fire Isshin could also go here
Elden Ring: True Latenna/Astel
You don't need to parry the Pursuer, just run past him and hit the ballista.
Shadows of Yharnam.. second phase? This is the first time I learn about this.
Man, imagine if Elemer's second phase was him using his shield telekinetically as well, maybe also attacking with his fists if he's levitating his weapons too.
That would be so epic. Imagine him whacking you with his shield in the air lmao.
"Elemer is definitely too easy"
Me who took a dozen tries and had to summon a player 👁️👄👁️
I litteraly searched for this comment 😅 He certainly didn't seem "easy" to me.
Holy sh*t this video was amazing! Keep it up my love🥰.
Thank u!!
The gaping dragon has one of my favorite themes from ds1
I was gonna say Guardian Ape for most underrated in Sekiro until you said the True Corrupted Monk and i have to concur.
Decent list btw WatchMojo of Souls, I mean, Ember 😅
Lmaoooo wow. I agree guardian ape grew on me a ton as well
100 percent agree on the gapping dragon
Definitely agree with the elemer take. Worth the time considering he gives you the best weapon in the game
8:24 "Too Easy" "[Should've had] more Health" Someone hasn't fought the Bell Bearing Hunter in Dragonbarrow...
I truly thought you were about to say Radahn was the most underrated boss and I was about to fight
