These builds are very therapeutic, it’s more than just watching someone build a plastic model kit, it’s like going through a therapy section, it calms down the mind. It‘a very relaxing.
your builds are true art from beginning to end. you have a level of organization that could only produce the high level models you do. This is an art form itself(your organization). much love
Oh my God, this video. The closeup shots, the clanking and falling plastic sounds. It makes me think that modelers ASMR should be a thing. Very satisfying to watch :D
TAMIYA : Best models ever. very precise and perfect fits. Very easy to put together, i know, i've build quite a lot of Tamiya's models. Forget Airfix, Revel and i don't know what else is out there these days.
If I understood correctly, that Castrol Tom's JGTC Supra was your first scale model build. Your skill far exceeds what would be expected at your experience level. Are you an artist or something? Dentist? Microbiologist? Taxidermist? Watchmaker? Hahaha. Where have you transferred all of these skills from!? Keep it up. TH-cam needs more skilled automotive modellers, especially ones who go beyond the simple out of box build.
bro i was building tamiya's things not actual modes tho,but cars back when i was 10-15 YO (AND OFCRS NOT THAT HARD.) and u reminded me allmost all my childhood and im looking forward to get some of thease REAL awasome models to work on! miss thease things.!! keep up bro wanna see more models in your hands to lern from you and get ideas!! :) KEEP IT UP!
Great build! I have building tamiya bikes since the 80's. They are quality kits. Nice clean work on the tank decals, looks like a seamless paint job. My two favorite builds are the Honda NR 750 and Bimota Tesi. The front steering on the Tesi was way ahead of it's time. Try building it when you get a chance.
Can you describe how you painted the inside of the fairings black. What paint did you use, did you do it before or after you finished the outside. Any tricks to masking off the outside? Thanks!
@@pen2199 Of course it's still a motorcycle of the future; like the one's you see in Tron. The motorcycles of the future are also; motorcycles that levitate, using no wheels.
nice build! i built this kit back around 1990, when my skills were pretty poor. bought the same kit again recently, and hoping to do it justice this time around. and subbed. :D
I think you meant 2000. This Suzuki GP was during the Kenny Roberts Junior during the 1999 season. He won the World Championship with the same bike, but with Telefonica Movistar sponsorship in 2000. It is a really nice kit indeed.
@@eugenerudman That's alright. I actually have that kit and the 2000 Kenny Roberts Junior winning kit as well. For the 1999 season, I will use it as a base and also got the Studio 27 transkit for the 1993 Kevin Schwantz's World Title winning 'Pepsi' version. It is essentially the same bike with different body parts that's all. So Ziggy used Scale Motorsport's Photo-etched kit as well. Your imagination can do anything with detailing, various versions and even transkit too. But that depends how crazy you want and how much your wallet can afford as well hahaha.
@@canicetang8837 I'm quite happy to get a little crazy, especially with bike kits! two more great kits in my stash are the Fujimi RGV XR-74 1988, for which I also got the original Lucky Strike Schwantz sponsor decals. and most recently (in fact, the day before lockdown started in my country), I got the new Hasegawa GSX-R 750G 1986, which is a kit I've been hoping for for years, as I used to own one ;-)
I have watched this video a heap of times. Awesome video and stunning build. Do you soak the cotton buds in anything when you are doing the brembo lettering on the calipers? Cheers

If I donated a kit to the show for build would you consider? And as painful as it is to ask that I may eventually see the kit again built the way Tamiya intended? The complexity is intimidating and I was unable to commit, sold only the airbrush but yet my small collection grew and similar to those on your channel. I learned parts I thought were dry brushed are not and photo etch looks very difficult, just like the instructions did 25 years ago. Now I only need to preserve the decals. Thank you for sharing what others would not.
@@ZiggysDesk well depending on which you enjoy should have a complete Ducati 888 SBK to the Yamaha YZR500 straight run rider (wanted to do Roberts). Then F1 Williams FW24 this one is pretty awesome. Also another favorite the FW11 Honda (Red 5 was planned) then "The Cat" Jaguar XJR-9LM Silk Cut. DTM Schneider of course Mercedes CLK Team D2 entire decal this one. I have the Porsche 911 GT1 beautiful scheme. I have a few more then would need to check sprues etc due to moving a lot or where it was purchased and handled while in route. I'll try and keep an eye the notifications. Was up late watching more of your builds learning a lot.
Oh and might be picking up a 1/12 Lotus original from 70's in great shape the box not so much found nearly being given away. Not sure which just know it's JPS scheme of course, but can't recall.

Yes, and actually being the one building it is even more therapeutic
The funny part is that Jun’s is also a great TH-camr with awesome builds!
Hey! Its you, I watch your channel too! You, Ziggy, A4 Garage and some others, you all do amazing jobs on these models

Once again, it looks like a Real Vehicle. I love watching these.
This guy knows how to put together a build video. Ultimate satisfaction. Every shots a money shot. Thank you!
Dude, you have to be the most patient and steady person there’s ever been on earth, so much talent ✌🏼
best part of these videos is always the paint, the finish you get is so lovely

This channel will blow up but for now I’ll enjoy it being quite. Beautiful camera angles so we can get the full experience.

Thank you 🙏🏻
What a beautiful job.
Классная получилась модель. От меня ЛАЙК. Удачи в дальнейших проектах. Я такую собирал, только в другой раскраске.
Well job done. Amazing in every way. Great eye for detail and finish was spot on.👍👍👍👍👍
Brilliant build
To bad engine had to be covered. Clean profi build. Keep up the good work. And no bad kit from Tamiya as always.
Great quality and good tips shared during the build...... what bikes next??
Incredible job on the paint work but you left all the mold plastic lines I'm confused

Best miniature channel
There’s a lot of great channels out there but thank you!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙂
I agree!!
Excellent work..!
I'd have liked to have seen some braided for the brake hoses as it's a race bike.
Nice work all round.
Absolutely gorgeous

Beautiful bike and nicely builded. I just received my first bike kit also today. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks George! Which kit did you get?
@@ZiggysDesk well to be totally honest I bought the cheapest i could find. A honda nsr500 from tamiya #14099 are you familiar with it?
