What will you do to treat that rust cancer under the new panels? Are you concerned with moisture getting in between the old and new panels especially on that front qtr and frame rail?
Most of the rust is surface. Pur-15 should take care of it for the most part. Regardless it wont get driven much, and when it does its wont be in any unpredictable weather.
@@Bye401K I was wondering the same thing about the rust underneath. would be good to neutralize it. or cut the old stuff out and weld in that nice piece you made. also the 2 holes under that one panel are to mount the bumper mounting bracket. I did the engine bay shave this last winter and love a clean engine bay. yours should look pretty good when you get her done.
Great video. That trick with the tape to get a pattern for a hole filling piece is great.
