What's very interesting about Pete is that he is like a time capsule himself: he still plays like a very good Liverpool drummer from about 1962. No more, no less. He didn't progress much, he didn't degrade much. When you watch him, it's like the time stood still.
Saw him at Stern’s Square Springfield,MA in 2002. Wasn’t bad. Saw Ringo twice. Once with The Beatles in 1966 and once with his All Star Band in 2002. Two different types of players…
I was about 5 rows behind you at Pete's gig, and really, really enjoyed it. I also met Pete afterwards, had a photo with him, and got him to sign his 'Beatle!' book. But interestingly, he declined to sign Spencer Leigh's 'Drummed Out' book, because he had nothing to do with it and he doesn't like it. Fair enough!
Well done guys. I would love to see them one day. I never find out when they are playing. I love there album Haymans Green. Wish they would do another. Fingers crossed.
@@executivedecision6141 They actually recorded 4 other Albums . One was Live at the Adephi which was a recording of his comeback gig in 1988. You can listen to it on TH-cam. I highly recommend it . The others can be found if you goggle Pete Best Albums. I believe one is called " Back to the Beat "
@@executivedecision6141Pete has some other solos works , you can find them in Cd format : Best ! ( with the first line up) , Live at Adelphi , Casbah coffee club . Hope you can find them . The Cd " Casbah coffee club " has the cover sleeve with Ken Brown and Paul mc Cartney, and inside there is a small poster with the Beatles, must have !! Greetings from Italy, Patrick

A great share KC enjoying all your uploads . Pete looks quite short of breath on those drums but managing to keep a strong beat and rhythm going fantastic ! The band sounds great too ! Terrific video my friend 👍👍👍🎸😎🎸BB (👍5 )
Glad you enjoyed the video my friend. Yes Bless Pete it was very hot in the venue last night and he was short of breath. One of the staff mounted a cooling fan up for him later during the set which he really needed. I had the privilege of meeting him after the gig and he is such a gentleman. Generous with his time for his many fans .
Maybe Ringo ...i don't know about Paul ....i mean ....would he like to see Pete after the facts happened more than 60 years ago ? We have a proverb in Italy with these words : " Time heal every wound " .... never know ... Regards to you , Patrick
@@patrickbuzzo1970Ringo is not the drummer in his shows. He is the main attraction and THE STAR of the show who sings and also drums whenever he wants to. So there's little in common.
@@nickestromberg2668 Regardless of your opinions the fact is he is one of only 3 people alive in 2024 who can say they were in The Beatles at one time . @@KC-wi4gh i agree 100 percent what you are saying. Im talking about the musicianship and the performance on the drums. And I have watched and listened to Everything with and about the Beatles.

Adorable Best!!!
Nice to see the BEST of the Beatles on my birthday ! Thanx Pete and band 👋
Great to see Pete playing.
I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Love the no felt padding or wing nut on that cymbal. Just metal to metal. Great!
Soundin good.
From Japan 最近のピートの演奏を聴けたのは嬉しく感じます。弟のローグと共に長くプレイを続けて欲しい。
Pete Rocks

I loved Haymans Green too, and was surprised that they have not done a follow-up album by now. How about it Pete?
I enjoyed Hayman's Green too, and it's still their only CD!

Coolio!!
How cool would it be for pete to get together with Paul and Ringo and play, at that point we would have 3 BeaTles.

Nice to see Pete playing. But why is there another drummer?
Roag Best has been drumming for years with the band. I think he might take over one day.
Ringo has a second drummer too . And he does not play much as Pete does . Ringo's concerts are more focused on vocals performance, he's getting weak .

Sounds like he really improved.
Yeah he’s really been practicing. Can’t you tell?
What's with the hitting of the crash cymbal always two times in a row, sometimes three or four times. Horrible. One After one o nine was pure comedy.😂
