    昔、廃止になった土佐電気鉄道安芸線も同じルートでした。
    土佐電気鉄道の停車駅は 後免→後免町→立田→日章→西野市→野市→古川→赤岡→
    →岸本→月見山→夜須→手結→海浜学校前→住吉→長谷寄→西分→和食→赤野→八流
    →穴内→安芸(現在の球場前駅付近です)。
    かなり多くの区間が、旧土佐電鉄の線路の上を高架で通っています。46:17頃に右下に見える
    現在のサイクリングロードが土佐電鉄線でした。

    Great video! Especially when coming out of those first tunnels & seeing the beach😍 at Nishibun. And then more beautiful scenery further towards Nahari. Thank you!
    By the way, the video starts at the Kochi Station on the Dosan Line. Once you get to Gomen Station, there starts the Tosa Kuroshio line. Thought I'd metion that for people like me who follow the train lines with google maps👍

      Robert, I want to follow the trains on google map also. Do you have advice for me?

    • @robertg6018
      @robertg6018 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@waterbase51 Simply determine the starting location by locating it on Google maps & then hope its a area that has been mapped at street level. Not all countries & areas get it. Once you get to a street view, travel out a little bit to make sure your following the train in the same direction. Unless the video clearly states the stops, then obviously you'll know exactly which direction to go. Sometimes you'll have to use Google Translate as well to know what your looking for. Safe travels! 😎

      @@robertg6018 thank you for your help. Sometimes they gave the station names and sometime nothing. I started with the translation of a book about Japanese pruiningtechniec. Than I wanted to know more about the Japanese landscape and I discovered the trains. Experience is very important.

      @@robertg6018 I'd appreciate the stop names too. It does make it easier to follow on the maps. Thank you.

      Hi, Jos
      Thank you so much for your comment: very interesting!!!
      For me, is a surprise watch an Italian brand in Japan [I'm Italian]!
      "ESSO SUPERCORTEMAGGIORE" and "Agip" are two old Italian brands in gas distribution.

    What is that horrible bell that keeps ringing during the video? Also why did you wast all that time sitting at stations. You could have cut that out and saved a lot of time. Great video though except for that bell ;-)

    • @AUNZRAILFAN
      @AUNZRAILFAN  7 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      This bell is ATS.
      ATS is a system on a train that automatically stops a train if
      certain situations occur (unresponsive train operator, earthquake,
      disconnected rail, train running over a stop signal, etc.) to prevent
      accidents.
      It is because it is a rule that can not erase the alarm sound for traffic signals inside the station.
      Thank you for watching the video!

    • @ChinaAl
      @ChinaAl 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm surprised the driver can concentrate on his driving with that noise. It drove me crazy just listening to the video. I had to turn my sound way down.. Thanks for the reply. I figured it might be something like that. I'm 41 years engine driver (34) and subway driver(7) here.

    • @athopi
      @athopi 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That bell is very loud and seems like it would distract the driver. I'm not hearing it in other train videos. I bet the maintenance crew is just putting you on about not turning it down. WOW! 5 speed transmission! Too cool and lovely scenery! Thank you!

    • @ChinaAl
      @ChinaAl 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're right! Something was going on in this video. Even our ATS system here 'dings' us only every 90 seconds and that's only if we don't do anything at all for the 90 seconds. Moving the throttle (controller), brake, whistle,or bell disables the alarm anyway. Yes I never heard anything like this in any other train video either.

      It might very well be a rule of that railway company.
