I'm fairly useless with tools so thanks for the tip. Recently got an '05 Element and this bug shield is the first thing I bought to make the Element look like mine.
@@HaoVu1 it wasn’t he pins that was the issue it’s the ends and how they curve that caused it to not shit think I’m going to cut those off if that makes any Sense 😂
Nice video, They do fit but they very tricky to install, you can take a long time to install it but will work. It does feel to give up and just use other pins. Also great idea to use the honda pins. The honda OEM deflector will damage the paint of the hood paint with time . Thanks for sharing. What dates will you to to Death Valley?
Is this the AVS Bugflector ll? I just got mine in the mail today. Looking for a step by step on installation. You did a nice breakdown, but I want to make sure it's the same one. I have an 05 E, that I just purchased today. & On the box it says this one is compatible with years 03-08.
Nice outcome. I wish mine was as easy to install. I tried it last week & couldn't get the OEM or the clips that come with it to fit properly, so now the visor is just chilling in my back seat. Where it will probably be for a couple more months until I feel like finding more compatible clips. 😏
I been using mine in my 2 elements and is performing nice. Not chips in my windshield yet other then one which already was when I purchase my orange E. Both Es I drove long trips and some off-road and not chips👍
Looks great!. I just installed the same Bugflector on my 2007 Honda Element SC. Thanks for the tip.

I wonder if it also deflects rocks since the element is know for rock chips in the windshield.
