    If you fancy picking one up, then don't forget to use the discount code: BENCARPLAY

      Nice one, it’s not quite the install you did on yours. But it works.

    Great video Ben
    I have issues with “Hey Siri” similar to yours using my Bovee so it’s likely it’s your invery rather than the unit.
    In my experience the Bovee will get confused and try and either use the phone speaker or the LR phone Bluetooth connection. I have noticed that if you pause and wait for it to switch back to the Bovee Bluetooth before you speak to Siri it can “sometimes” work.
    If you don’t connect to the LR Bluetooth then Siri and any incoming call also breaks the connection.

      That's good to know that it might not just be me then. I was wondering if I was doing something wrong. 👍

      Does both, I’m using iOS but it works with android.

    Hi Ben how do you hard wire the car play in please

    • @Bensgarage
      @Bensgarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hard wire the unit in the video? I would run the power from the fuse box, and pick up an earth from somewhere near.

    Hi Ben, so am I right in thinking that the sound isn't actually coming from CarPlay unit, it's coming from the phone via the bovee, and the unit is essentially just giving you a large CarPlay interface to operate your phone through?
    I didn't think iPhones liked running wireless CarPlay and bluetooth simultaneously?

    • @Bensgarage

      Correct, all sound is coming through the car speakers via the invery.

    Whats the app that i need to use on IOS device so that i can control the screen?

    • @Bensgarage
      @Bensgarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      You don't control the screen, the screen controls your device. And you don't need an app to connect to it either. Just connect your phone via carplay.

    How do u turn it off? Mine doesn’t turn off when my car is off

    • @Bensgarage
      @Bensgarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      What car do you have? Mine stays on for a while after I switch the engine off, but if I lock the car it all shuts down. If yours doesn’t your 12v socket must be live all the time.
