@@LifeOnUnleaded greetings! Love this build. I’m doing one as well. Any chance you could tell me where you got your throttle cable? I put clip-ons onto my forks so my OEM cable is too long now. Looking for the length and brand you went with. I’m thinking I’ll need a 30” cable + or - a few”. Thanks!

Can't wait to get mine done! Same 81xv750. Got the subframe built swapped the stock front end with an 06 R6. Front wheel will be here this week so I can finalize the lines of the tank angle and subframe, then it'll be close to road worthy. Hopefully by the end of July I can be out rippin' on 'er!

Amazing build! Im doing once myself right now, and was wondering what mods were needed to fit the Gen 2 5 spoke wheel into the Gen 1 swingarm. The offset is different and without removing the drive side too, there isn't enough space to slot in the wheel and brake hub! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Keep up the good work!

great build & video. I like everything about the bike but the swing arm. The bike is shaft driven ? so guess you couldn't change for a better looking one.
Yeah shaft driven, minimal maintenance, but you can't really tune them that much!
Absolutely tidy work there, although I would do something about the sound lol
Love the video, great production value. I have a custom build very similar to yours that I am refurbishing. Quick question, where did you located your battery? My best guess is at the bottom in front of your rear wheel?

Get yourself some armoured gear, always paranoid when I see you out with not much gear on, especially those open faced helmets, I like your videos too much to see you getting road rash or worse. :)

Cool build the only thing i'd do more is power coat the engine and clutch cover make it look a little bit cleaner!

1:38 When you guys weld the seat Steel bar to that metal bushing holder thing, was it tight and secure? I plan to flux weld, think that'll suffice? haha
Amazing build. I am just waiting for someone to build honda magna/interceptor right.
Lots of waiting for that one. These cafe racers don't seem to be all about performance as they are a fun bike that looks badass. There have been quite a few Virago conversions, as the looks of that V-Twin lends itself to the style quite nicely.
