Hello everyone! Welcome back to my channel🤗 Today we are cooking Fumbwa one of my favorite food of all time and i hope you enjoy. Thanks for watching! Please don't forget to Like and SUBSCRIBE
My boyfriend is Congolese. You are the one i watched when i learned to make pondu. He loved it. He asked for fish and peanut butter so i added it. Next on the list is fumbwa and the madesu
Wow Ketsia I am impressed! Very good presentation and you are so fluent in all languages. I just watched your video for the very first time and I am so proud of you. Keep it up!!! Just watch out with oil.
Thank you. I am from a south Pacific Island nation called Papua New Guinea. My fiance is from Congo. We are getting married next year April. I am learning, my only challenge is not having all the specific spices that we do not have here in my country. How can a I order from Congo?
Thank you my dear, just a tip When you put everything together, do not mix yet, let it cook first just so that the peanut does not start to burn underneath. Welcome to the family😍❤🤗
Any time! you can cook it for about 45 mins to 1 hour medium hit. I didn't time it but i will make sure i do next time i make it. After about 45 mins when you see the same look like i have in the video then it's ready. Remember to stir all the time otherwise it will burn. Don't stir it in the beginning like i did, it will start burning quicker x
Gros bisous🥰😍❤
No it's not spinach but some other hard leaves/ vegetables from Africa. in Congo they call it Nfumbwa as the lady said , in Nigeria its Okassi leaves . Hope that helped.
In English, Gnetum africanum is usually called “wild spinach” (though other plants are also called the same). In the Kikongo language of the Congo region Gnetum africanum is called Mfumbwa or Fumbwa (in Angola, M'Fumbua orFumbua)
