This video is very special. It shows that we as Street photographers can involve with the surroundings and not only are around to "steal" pics of people's souls. I often have homeless coming and want to talk with me. Giving them a moment means a lot.

The station is a great location for those light and shadow shots that David enjoys. You captured 2 of him cast in shade, very cool. Waffle icecream combo pure genius 😁

J.’essaie juste de comprendre ton instant décisif et j’avoue ne pas être toujours dans le bon timing ( la différence entre le pro et l’amateur) d’où ma question de la dernière fois. Juste une question : quel est ton réglage sur ton Q2 ou ton Fuji pour avoir ces belles couleurs contrastées avec des ombres très foncées et les pousses tu en post-production ? Merci pour ton conseil.

As always i love your intros…its by default my first line that i get drawn to write…its Antwerp so i could also relate to several places and really like no 10 picture….also great gesture to the lady who was upset…you are a kind and honest person which is also reflected in your work:)…looking forward for more videos:)

Thank you Dennis ! The train station is a pretty nice spot to start your day, early in the morning or if not in the afternoon/evening the light is beautiful. Meir Boulevard is normally packed on saturdays and there is a market at Stadsschouwburg, packed as well.Old town and around Grote Maarkt as well :) Enjoy ! It's a lovely city to shoot street photography. Sundays are a little bit lazy though :)

Durable post, Octavian. Don’t recall your prior vids including wheelchair photographer - I image that accessibility challenges can limit what compositions can be taken (e.g., perspective). Big of you to feature him. Had to replay early part of vid to get what focal length lens you were using; still not clear - 20mm?.
Favs in this episode include 2 (abstract), 4 (reflection), 7 (poster), 9 (layering), and 17 (lady with dog - saw that one coming😁.) Agree, smaller lighter camera is easier for street genre.
Nice of you to hug the lady who was in distress - reason for her woes was unclear, though. Another channel first? Could be a channel thing - need a hug? Octavian to the rescue👍😁.
Waffle cone looked top heavy, like it would tip over if not eaten quickly😁. Cheers!
Thanks Paul :). I was using a 23 mm f2 which means 35 mm on full frame :). The lady was having some work problems. I hope she is doing fine now. I am always up for a hug :) we all need one from time to time :)
Another great episode of street photography. I really like the picture of the boy with his sunglasses on the blue background and the red hair girl with her dog ! Very heartwarming moment (je ne suis pas certain du terme en anglais), when you "take care" of this woman and make her a hug. Well, it's what we expect from a street photograher, we care about ppl around us :)
So what is your thought about using more often a 23 mm ? Personnaly it's my favorite length. If you're interested, TT Artisan just made a new pancake lenses 25mm f2 (for about 60€). It could be a very stealthy combo with a X-E4. (I will send you a link directly on IG if you want to take a look).
I still prefer the 28 mm of full frame or the Fuji 18 mm f2 I guess but I don’t dislike the 23 mm to be honest :) I can’t get along with the fuji 27 mm f 2.8 wr, that focal length doesn’t work for me :) thank you for feedback. I will maybe try one day the 25 mm f2 pancake :)

Do you like to shot with the 23mm (35mm EQ) lens and the xPro3? What do you think about the screen?
Thank you for watching :) It's a great lens the 23 mm. If I weren't into a little bit wider focal lengths I would definitely buy the 23 mm f2. The XPRO3 is a better camera than the XE4 in almost any regards, but as I have the Q2 my main camera I prefer having the XE4 as it's more portable, light and small. Personally I love the screen, it's a nice exercise NOT checking your shots during the day and just see the results at the end of the day :)
I watch your films and enjoy it very much, next month I will be in Antwerp, could you please give me some recommended places for street photography?
Hi Zion ! Thank you for watching the channel. Appreciate it ! Antwerp is pretty small to be honest but there are some place that I love shooting street : the Central Station - you can spend easily 2 hours in and around the station, the Grote Maarkt and around again it's pretty nice, Groenplaats and around Scheldt Canal as well. Enjoy Antwerp ! it's a beautiful city for street photography.

Hi Raymond ! I would say summer in July and August but also early autumn. Weather here is pretty bad sometimes even in the summer, it's hard to predict but definitely the worst time is winter, which is long, dark and rainy :)
