Affinity Photo Tutorial 5: Luminosity Masks Made Easy

In this Affinity Photo Tutorial, I’m going to explain masks and show how they work in Affinity. I’m also going to show you how to easily create a simple Luminosity mask using Affinity’s selection tools. We also look at how to use the same technique to create a colour-based selection mask.
Although each of these examples is short and simple, they demonstrate powerful masking techniques. Understand these and you will understand some of the foundations of masking with Affinity Photo.
