Affinity Photo Tutorial 4: Master using Layers and Filter

In this Affinity Photo tutorial, I’m going to explain how to use Layers and Filters to edit your photos. In particular, we will be looking at the Adjustment Layers, the Regular filters and the benefits of using Live Filters.

Thanks Robin, I especially like the way you have a yellow circle around the cursor which helps see what you are clicking on- in other videos I often have to replay an action to see what this little cursor is doing. Neat trick! And a helpful video.

I wish I had found your book sooner upon getting into Affinity. It would have saved me days of muddling through random videos. Don't understand why Affinity team does not recommend it considering they have nothing similar to offer,

I have come to the conclusion that I can watch your TUTORIALS 10, 20 times.... and at the end I get NOTHING out of them. Why? Because they are COMPLEX / DIFFICULT to understand. You begin with the premise that "beginners, somehow, should start with RAW files" JA JA. I did not even know what raw files were!!!....
CONCLUSION: You are really not capable of teachings BASICS to BEGINNERS. Why don't you choose SIMPLE exercises (for BEGINNERS), and build up from there?
