After composing “When Destinies Align” , Miyako gave it the temporary title “Lovebites” . She had been saving that honor since 2017 for use when she wrote a song “Devine” enough to bear the band’s name. Miyako described the track as melodic speed metal. Hello, nice to greet you from the old Spanish wolf. It is a beautiful video, loaded with a metaphor of positivity and strength, this is empowerment, and not woke nonsense. Along with Glory to the World, they are for me the two best videos of these wonderful ladies. Musically, little can be said about them, they are perfect. And as for the video, the minute in which the camera rotates around Midori and Miyako, in a beautiful golden tone, while they destroy their guitars with great elegance, is a wonderful moment. And another when after the fabulous guitar duet they finish, Asami opens her pretty eyes and sings again. Is incredible. After this, who wants to see a video of a man of sixty or seventy years old shouting with an angry face and some almost elderly guitarists who seem bitter and fighting with the world? These girls deserve much, much, much more recognition, because they are worth it.
'Shadowmaker" melted my face. "When Destinies Align" blew my head off. I watched it obsessively for days after it was first posted. For me, this is their anthem. They opened "Heavy Metal Never Dies" with this--imagine having the cojones to start a concert that way. Thanks for checking it out.

It could be just a coincidence but a few weeks ago I said in the comments that this mv is the most spectacular of them with superb guitarwork in combination with the video editing and I expected this to be right in your alley. The first time I saw this mv it was mindblowing for me, the way they build and build in this duelling solo and how they resolve it in the end is nothing less than spectacular. Damn good song, but what gets me about this one is the lyrics, particularly the line, "It is failure that has brought us here." Before LOVEBITES got together, Asami was singing backup for other bands/artists and had a solo career that wasn't going anywhere. Miyako's band A Drop of Joker had just broken up as had Midori's band Gekijo★METALicche. Destrose had ended leaving Miho without a band, and Haruna had left Destrose a bit before that inevitable split. From the outside looking in, I'd be hard pressed to say they were successes before getting together.

When destinies align, miracles happen. The guitar solos played here are one the best in metal history and lyrics are uplifting as well. Other amazing MVs are “Winds of Transylvania” and “Glory to the world”.

There are quite a few that do them well. Metallica, rush, dragonforce, and many more
it's the first track I listened to by this band and I fell on my ass. I listened to it for hours, and couldn't get over it. I became an instant fan.
