that was sooo good!! my school is doing this. the whole cast rehersed this together. and there only using the leads in this scene! i really like how you guys did this!
i was in the show, i think it was meant to be a flashback.. we told our dance instructer we shouldnt dance together, but she wanted it to be that way. :)
i guess the reason i think like that is cause we did it in college and my director was a real stickler for keep it to the sript and no changes. BUt i love the vocals
Sorry, I jumped to fast without reading the description. I thought it was the one with Laura and Max the winners of Grease: You're the One I Want. The new show on Broadway. I will learn to read the desription next time then ask a stupid question. Sorry, my stupidity shows through sometimes.
i see a lot of people saying that sandy and danny should not have interacted. but... i see it as they were having like a flashback maybe? like they were imagining what they did that summer? i think it was a good idea.
im trying out for sandy tomorrow a little nervous and excited i hate how they buch butchered the play to be nothing like the movie tho :( it should be fun n e ways
my high school chorus is performing this in march. i made the joke i should be sandy cause my names olivia. i'd rather play the leader of the pink ladys
i suppose it does, but you have to consider that the audience has no background information.... like i understand your idea but not sure it came across, but like i said still very good.
very good choreography.. but the interaction between sandy and danny?? wateva bout da rest of da cast but those 2? like theyre supposed to be in totaly different places! but otherwise... top quality!
One more thing. Danny's wardrobe. Why does he have a red shirt underneath? And the blocking, Sandy and Danny actually making contact with one another. Kind of strange, but different I guess. Wow, I must have no life if I'm really looking into this....
Fantastic choreography and good directing. Poor poor poor vocals, lacked punch and energy. Vocal coach/musical director should have worked on this scene, especially as its one of the most iconic in the whole musical.
Ok...I appreciate this from an actor/director's stand point...But I really think this number was too scattered to appreciate the whole objective of the scene! There were clearly too many people doing the choreography...and each move wasn't specific...which made most of the number very sloppy! The voices were good....but it seemed like they were only out to just sound good than to act...this is just my opinion....and I actually like Grease.
Oh... finally, a good Summer Nights theater production on TH-cam. All other ones were such utter messes. This is just perfect.
The choreography was super good! Danny and Sandy were really good, too. I loved this (:
Brilliant ending! Funny, and un-expecting. Excellent acting, well done!
That high note at the end is absolutely amazing.
This is one of the best Summer nights vids I've found, great job everyone!
I done a geek! =D i love how u guys done it. The song went really well with the dance. Everything really good!
awesome job!! i just found out today that im gonna be sandy in my high school play!!! im sooo excited!!!!!
The choreography and singing is pretty good. Nice job.

Great song. My school is doing grease and I got Kinickie haha this is prob a lot better than our production will be haha
wow ... i wish we had teachers that could put together that and costumes and stuff . and money to actally do that !
i was in the show, i think it was meant to be a flashback.. we told our dance instructer we shouldnt dance together, but she wanted it to be that way. :)
i guess the reason i think like that is cause we did it in college and my director was a real stickler for keep it to the sript and no changes. BUt i love the vocals
I agree and danny isn't supposed to know sandy is there yet it happenes later in the play.
haha my play this year is grease. i want to be rizzo. i auditioned for her. pray i get it

That's because they are not doing the movie version. They are doing the stage version. (Which was before the movie)
yeah.. and i'm going to be RIZZO! ^
good luck!
i see a lot of people saying that sandy and danny should not have interacted. but... i see it as they were having like a flashback maybe? like they were imagining what they did that summer? i think it was a good idea.
Haha, I was the one that played Danny, and everyone at school calls me Frodo.
im nervouse im trying out for rizzo im sooooo xited

this is amazing. and the other grease vids u have.
my HS is doing grease this year and i wanna be Rizzo :]
"Sandy" is pretty cute.
Will this be released on DVD? If so, when?!
im trying out for sandy tomorrow a little nervous and excited i hate how they buch butchered the play to be nothing like the movie tho :( it should be fun n e ways
Where in this production? who'd you play?
@818Popstar
He dropped his lunch honey XD
WOW the guy who fell that must of hurt

The Eugene stuff is a bit overkill. The noise he makes when he falls down distracts from the song. Cute Sandy though :)
I dont like all that attention the background people made in the start, and the stage was way to little. But else, it was fantastic.
It was good but I thought Rizzo is the only one who is supose to say cause he sounds like a drag.
