It's undeniably a gorgeous game... I'm hoping this much attention to detail was given to every aspect of the game, not just the visuals.

Those puddles at the end... It's amazing how something so simple can blow your mind at times. They've packed this game with so many immersion enhancing features it rivals a modded Skyrim... I fucking love it
True, especially when you consider most modded skyrim playthroughs end up looking like a Final Fantasy game.
Right?! The whole time I was gettig stoked... and then them puddles, and I was blown away. Rarely do games make such drastic improvements on liquid physics (earliest that I can recall being bauldurs gate). Just imagine how great visual effects will be when VR becomes mainstream
Man I can't wait for this game! It has been too long. However I am glad they are pouring all there resources into this game and they are making sure it turns out well. I'm almost positive it will live up to the hype and my own expectations. 8 long years and then sum going forward. I was 16 and am 24 now.... Crazy how much time passed. I don't want this game released until it is fully completed at their own pace. Like in the past this game could possibly be a blue print for other games to follow if done right.

Impressive effects, if only it would be released on a platform that could display those effects in detailed resolution and playable frametate.
But we'll just have to accept the bare minimum, for we live in a market dominated by compromises, in a market where "what we can do without" matter more than "what can we add".
But still, progress has to be made. Can't wait!

I disagree. Square Enix isnt all hat great at business management. Thus why they almost went under prior to Final Fantasy. And just like almost every game they make, if necesary, they'll just push back the release date to when a console comes out that can handle it. Just like how they remake games everytime they screw up because they dont have a system to tell them when they screw up before they publish. They put alot of work into this game. I doubt they'll compromise.

You know, Nomura designed Noctis hair back in 2006, with influence from the emo scene look. It's 2014, he should have gave him the Macklemore, shaved sides long top cut LOL.
I anticipate that this game won't be 1080p in XboxOne. It is hard to believe that PS4 can handle those graphics even in 30fps with such a weak GPU - CPU, can barely imagine how XO will face this game.
the engine draws occluded geometry.. eww.. that's a waste of draw calls and cycles. well I'm sure you guys spent alot of time making that engine its very um nice, here's a better one Unreal Engine 4 and it only cost you 2000 yen vs the billion used and 2 or three years to develop

I know I'm gonna get alot of hate for this but.... I want this on Wii U ported like the Xbox One version.

Wii U has been proven it can handle directx11 graphics by showing in some indie games its has used shaders. The fact of the matter is, the Wii U could handle it, however it would be dumbed down a bit in visuals a tad bit akin to the future Xbox One version, btw their showing this on PS4, when the Xbox One version comes out it wont look as good cuz its a port. Its been proven multiple times it can go on Wii U, Wii U CAN do 1080p 60fps its been shown that it can do that. The real reason why this isn't on Wii U is because their too lazy to put alot of work into a port, they don't care about the small fanbase of FFXV of Nintendo fans, and they dont want to lose a profit by putting it on Wii U thinking nobody will buy it. If you have ever seen what a Wii U looks like on TV, you would definitely change your mind saying this game could go on Wii U. Ofcouse this game isn't going to look the exact same though because this is PS4, and the Wii U is different, same goes for Xbox One. Yes, it would be nice if it was on PC as well. If Square Enix wanted to go multi-plat, they should have been fair to everybody, the only reason FFXV is on Xbox One is because Microsoft is slurpin their dong on the couch for free and even paying them for it, there isn't even a fanbase of FF on Xbox.
