I hadn't played pinball since the mid 90s and finally found my way back into an OG arcade a week ago. This table was the first I played and I already adore it.
Also which I think all pinball machines should have is spooky put a USB port inside the coin door so you don't have to take back glass off every time u update! That is smart! before it was nerve racking taking backglass on and off great move!
Personally, I love everything about it. It does seem to be a VERY divisive pin though. Some want to throw it off a 10 story building, and others want to baby it for the rest of eternity. I think it’s one of the most unique playfields in a very long time. I’d own one if I had an extra 9K lying around. 👍
It is that good and like you said it is very unique. It’s a solid keeper and always a super challenge for me. Great execution of the theme and so amazing in the home gameroom.
@@Steveos-Gameroom Agreed. I’m a massive old school horror fan as well, so when they released the trailer, I went nuts. Dream theme for me. I’ll own one at some point eventually. There’s a CE on location where I live, so I’m on it all the time. 😂
@@stanleymasterson1135 You can go to Spooky’s website page: shop.spookypinball.com/pinball-machines-c4.php and view the CE, BSE and Standard Edition Halloween pinball machines. Prices and options are listed. Cheers!
The one at my local pinball bar I think needs its code updated. You will be playing then go in the hole on the upper play field and the whole system will restart
Yes. It’s a near 100% love affair with Halloween. By November I’m kinda expecting a big software update, but as it is we love it. It plays hard for my skill set, and I think that helps keep it fresh and challenging in our home. Guessing we have 125-150 games played on ours this far and zero regrets.
Ive played the Freddy Nightmare on Elm street pinball but never this one. Now I want to try this out. Wish they made a Friday the 13th and Hellraiser pinball
Halloween is a Scream! (Pun intended) and it should be even more awesome once the software is complete and fully polished. Not sure if you’ve seen this “homebrew” F13th pin: pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/homebrew-friday-the-13th Looks like it’s s going to be cool!
@@Steveos-Gameroom that would be cool but imagine a Hellraiser pinball with the puzzle box on the table and it would change shape depinding where the ball hit
Great video! Could use some advice, I’m close to buying my very first pinball machine. I have a couple arcades but this will be my first pinball and my 2 favorite pinball genres is this Halloween and Sterns TMNT. Which would you personally recommend as a first. I’m really torn, and love both machines from watching videos. I’m leaning a little towards Halloween because it’s so cool visually.. Any advice would greatly be appreciated, thank you !
I can’t offer fair advice, because I have not yet played Stern’s TMNT. I was quite interested in the Premium version of TMNT, but I’m not willing to buy before I’ve first gotten some play on this machine. However, I did go fully into Halloween without even seeing one in person. Spooky’s sizzle reel launch of HWN lit my fire 1,000% because it was so different from any other pinball machine in my opinion. (It didn’t hurt that we have Spooky’s TNA here and we love it.). …To be completely transparent, when I first heard that Spooky’s next game was HWN, I had around 0-2% interest in it. Obviously, Spooky’s imagination and design skills crushed the proverbial baseball out of the ballpark. I bought HWN and have zero regrets with our HWN. Good luck in your purchase of your first pinball machine. I can remember picking up vividly our first pinball machine 22+ years ago. I was such a newbie that I didn’t even know that there was and ON/OFF switch on the bottom of the cabinet…. lol. Caution, pinball machines attract other pinball machines. They are addictive.
@@Steveos-Gameroom thank you for such a sincere answer, I appreciate it. Sounds like I should go with my heart on this one. I was just hesitant because I felt HWN might not have as much to offer, as far as modes and multiplayer. Just was worried I’d get sick of the same old gameplay.. Again, an awesome machine visually though. And because I recently converted 1 of my rooms into a small home arcade, with 2 Nascar sitdowns, Superchexx, BBH reloaded, and a multi arcade, so I definitely need a pinball. Just been saving up. Thanks again for giving me your time and advice, as it is a huge price and I respect your opinion from watching your videos.
They definitely got license her assets. Her face is drawn on the plastic above the left slingshot, she’s carrying books by the lower hedge, on the lower cabinet right side art she is holding her face screaming as well as JLC is depicted carrying her school books on the left side lower cabinet. They also have her film assets on the LCD display. There’s still a big software update for HWN that I haven’t yet installed. It looks great and they have really improved it with risk/reward collecting blood drops + many, many more changes. HWN is a fantastic pinball machine. Cheers!
We paid over $10k (inc shipping & tax) and we feel like we got our money’s worth in quality and entertainment. Happy owner here for sure. As a matter of fact, our good friends in St Louis will also be getting one as well in the future.
Such a cool unique game and has the best art package of any pin I’ve seen in the past twenty years. Can’t wait for the new code to drop w/ the new wiz mode and the inclusion of Blue Oyster Cult’s ‘Don’t fear the reaper’. All this game needs is time to deepen and widen rules and code, add more animations/ music/ scenes. And it’s all coming as we’re only 6 months in. Imagine this game by next year STELLAR!!!
Ahh the ol’ Spooky optimism. It’ll be better in a month, it’ll be better in 6 months, they’ve promised cool things to come so it’ll be better then. Shame game does look great as did Alice and Rick n Morty but Spooky can’t code and design shots for shit. Best upper playfields in the biz though.

Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.
Picking one up finally ! 🎃 subscribed. You are very good and informative at what you do. Thanks !
Very kind words. Thank you!
+ HWN is great. Welcome to the club!!
Enjoyed this--like your casual style
They need to add Silver Shamrock and the other Season of the Witch music in this too
That would be great addition
That is a tough shot going up those steps to start House multiball.
Wow! What an incredible table!!!
This is amazing 👏
Man I want this!
We have zero regrets with our Halloween purchase. It’s very unique and Spooky Legit.

I think American Pinball also has coin door USB updating capabilities. 👍 Very nice!

$11.1 with shipping and tax. Worth every single penny IMO

I see Donald Pleasance's face in the pinball machine, but I do not see Jamie Lee Curtis. I wonder if they could not get permission to use her picture.
