When I was young, a jet crashed across the street from my house. Looky loos came everyday to watch the military cleaning it up. They kept parking in our drive and when my dad got home from work he couldn't park. The cops and the MPs said they couldn't do anything. Finally, he lost his last "f". It was his property and if the cops couldnt trespass them, he could do it himself. When the people refused to move, he got a baseball bat and started to bash the car. Suddenly, the cops wrre going to arrest him until he said, on my property, it is my property. The cops kept it clear from then on.
Here's the thing, though: if a person is so desperate to even put food on the table, you'd think stockings would be at the very bottom of their priority list. So it's obvious she was lying even before she started with the lies. The saddest thing about people like this Karen is that they make people not want to help those who are in genuine need.
It's true, I'm kinda a bleeding heart for other people's rough situations, so whenever I've given money to a homeless person or charity, I've always got whoever's with me being like "you know they're just taking advantage of you, right?" and I feel like an idiot xD
Not only that, but also scam programs into thinking She and her family are on hard times and take resources that would otherwise go to families that are actually in need. On top of that, turn a profit selling the stuff she deemed "not good enough" for her kids that she got from said programs
Story 5: What's her problem? She stole from another customer’s cart, verbally harassed said customer, and then when confronted, her response is to (try to) physically assault the customer. Not even a bad day would cause this
I'm thinking illicit substances were involved. Even your average entitled person wouldn't think all the stuff she did was a good idea, this is either serious mental illness, substance abuse, or both.
Story 1 - I would have seriously screenshotted her posts and messages and posted it all on reddit or Twitter or something. "She said I ruined her Christmas for not giving my stuff to her for free. Here's what a ruined Christmas looks like."
I would've done all that. Then report her account and report her to the police for child neglect (remember her post on market), child abuse (she purposely made her children cry via manipulation or physical assault) and fraud (she scammed other charities and sellers).
Chances are the Karens in Story 4 weren't going to tip no matter how godly of a service they got, and would demand the food to be remade over and over again, so the bar as a whole really dodged a bullet there.
The stocking story: There are so many people out there doing this and it is ridiculous. My daughter was hospitalized due to behaviors during the holidays. This organization works with charities to make sure these kids get a nice Christmas. Tsomeone gave my daughter a $150 pair of boots ! She had plenty of gifts at home and her grandparents so I made her return them.
Story 1 - It really aggravates me when people try to take advantage of people’s kindness, especially around the holidays. OP hit it on the head when she told that lady that SHE ruined her kids (if she really has any) Christmas. Also that lady better be careful with what she puts on the internet, if she’s posting this crap. Claiming that your kids have cancer and then bragging about people giving her stuff for free because of it will come back to bite her in the butt VERY quickly.
OP should have posted about her crap on every social media, especially the one she posted on! Let folks know the kind of AH she is. And notify the charities too. 😡
OP’s biggest mistake was getting rid of the screenshots and messaging, op should have informed the charities about this woman’s scam and sending them links to Karen’s account. Thusly allowing the charities to inform the police. To which Karen can spend her Christmas behind bars.
Story 1: Karen should "do the right thing" and pay up as agreed. Story 2: Karen ran a red light so no wonder OP refused to lend her the car even if she was insured.
Story 2: Not only would OP likely not be able to get to work in time, but there's no guarantee that the car would not be crashed given the mom's history. OP made the right choice
Yeah, I'd have been like, "If you can't afford to rent a car, you definitely can't afford to use MY car, because I'm charging you double what it'll cost for me to rent a car while you're gone."
I would have told her I don't loan my car to anyone, I'm not a car rental service! I also don't loan my car or anything else to someone just because they demand it. Only entitled idiots demand someone else's belongings!
Story 1: When she asked for everything for free and gave a sob story, I immediately knew that woman was a liar. Story 5: So happy when Karen broke her toes. That's karma.
When dealing with my entitled mother I learned the power of the word "No" with zero explanation because they will only try to poke holes in any reason given.
First story, I would have contacted every organization that she scammed and informed them that she was selling what she'd been so graciously given on marketplace.
Story 2: Borrowing my car to someone who just destroyed theirs hours ago? Yea, that's not happening. Story 4: I've said this before: NEVER mess with a badass senior. Story 5: Well that went from 0 to 100 in about a second flat.
Ultimately, it’s not the end of the world if you have to cancel plans for some reason. Ultimately, I wouldn’t let someone borrow my car either, especially if the truth comes out that the person got into a crash because they ran a red light.
Story 2 - This is why I NEVER let anyone (other than my mom) drive or borrow my car. OP had the right to say no to that Karen. The car is his property, and after hearing that she got into an accident I wouldn’t trust her to be anywhere near the car.
Story 3: IDK if OP will see this message, but my parents were in a similar situation. House in a Cul-de-sac with an elementary school right at the end. They would have parents constantly clogging up the street and blocking driveways because they'd be there for "5 minutes" to grab their kid. It was bad. So the homeowners in the area got together and demanded the city make it a no-parking zone. Cleared up pretty quick after people realized they could get a ticket or even towed for being there too long.
Story 1... that is clear attempted fraud, with them saying it was planned to not pay. With that, and the fact it cost time/effort to make, and the travel to meet up... they clearly were malicious intent.
I couldnt afford gifts this year. We had to use the community program. The boys got 4 gifts each . They are 10 and 12. They played with the toys and then asked me to take them to the foster care office and they donated 3 of their 4 gifts, keeping only the books since they love Captain Underpants. They knew they had little but said other kids had nothing.
So cute! When i was coming up, i and my mom always tried to find someone who wanted/needed my old clothes or toys or books before sending them anywhere else. We only gave out stuff that was still in good condition or had been fixed tho. As an adult, i used to give old stuff to the charity store in my town but i live somewhere else now and have to find another solution
I can so relate to story #1. My Grandaughter has come to my son's house with her children ( she has 5, but my son and daughter in law are raising the oldest). For the past few years after leaving loaded down with toys and clothes she goes online and sells stuff bought for her and the children. Also I had normally put $5.00 in each child's card, and 3 have birthdays (2 in December and 1 in January). After social security dropped my widows benefits $400.00, I found I could no longer put money in the cards. I and my daughter were fed up with her selling stuff, so on the back of the books, my daughter marked out the barcodes and wrote "not for resale". Toys were taken out of packages so they could not be returned. The person should have written down the names of the charities and reported her to them.
When I was to the university, I've work for a year and half in a wharehouse store (2 summers and between). Than, after university, I've quit the region for almost a decade. When I came back live, I bought a house and got to this store a couple of time. Funny enough, I was often mistaken as a worker there (even without the outfit and just going around with my stuff to buy). It was kind of funny to help and direct them to the actual workers! But I still don't know why it was happening!
My parents lived across a school and everyday, twice a day they would get inundated with vehicles. One day an elderly lady just parked across the entrance effectively blocking the whole driveway. My dad was getting home and asked the lady to move so he could get in. Typical Karen she said no, I'm here to pick up my grandchild. My dad being short tempered replied we'll see. He got in his truck and stomped her. Rocks and smoke flew by.... she moved.... he wasn't going to hit her but give her a scare. It worked. Word must have gotten around because no one ever blocked yhe driveway again.
One of my favorite stories is where a group of Karens enter a restaurant and seat themselves. They berate a customer for not taking their orders. Spoiler alert, she didn't work there. The manager was watching this. A new waitress went to help the table until the head Karen went over the top mean. They told the manager, "Do you know who I am?" He tells them exactly who they are and where they work. To shorten the story, they got banned by the owner and fired from their jobs, all of them. The customer who was yelled at got a free meal and the new waitress got a paid day off to recover.
Story 4: "Servers should greet customers 30 seconds after they sit" OCD Karens are annoying, thinking that the world should abide by their rules for the world
That first story doesn't surprise me. Years ago, decades ago actually, Dad used to volunteer to deliver Christmas Hampers. He told us how he went to one house and there were already 3 Christmas Hampers there. And the slimy woman/mother wanted to check the hamper he had to see what was in it, and then 'b'itched about the FREE stuff she was getting. Dad couldn't just not leave the hamper there, not allowed to, and this was way before cell phones. So he just told the agency when he was done and that address, her name, were blacklisted. Yep, slime has existed for quite awhile.
1st story. The Karen wouldn't have given the car back. She would have kept it because OP needed to be healthy and needs to use that bicycle she told OP he needed. I'm glad OP isn't with that girlfriend. With an entitled mom in law, no one needs them.
Story 1. Many years ago, the local newspaper used to print wishlists for kids that otherwise wouldn't have any presents. I don't know if they checked to be sure they were legit or not. I was shocked by some of the gifts that they were asking for, things that were super expensive and most people aren't going to buy for a stranger. I have no problem giving gifts to others. I've done it many times, sometimes through my church, sometimes on my own, anonymously. But the gifts that people were asking for were things you'd expect someone in that type of situation to ask for, clothes, school supplies, inexpensive toys, etc.
Story 5: this is why I carry my government employee badge with me when I go shopping. If a Karen harasses me, I can show them the badge and tell them that they just got their entire family blacklisted from receiving any benefits for life
It would also be funny to see them act like they were sucking on lemons when told, "We also got you on video doing and saying all those things to other Customers.
@@dugowt9243 I actually work for Social Security in the Disability Quality Branch. Basically, we decide whether or not your disability claim is valid or not. And we have the ability to blacklist people if we decide it’s necessary. Would you really want the federal government to be giving taxpayer money to Karens?
Story 4: Hilarious that in her bid to "deny, deny, deny", she actually ended up paying OP a compliment, calling him competent. It was in a bid to insult the restaurant and save face, sure, but that was still rather nice of her.
OP2: It's the people who try to reason with these entitled trash that encourage their BS. They only response to this kind of nonsense is "No. Bye." My own mother, who's never done anything else like this since I've been an adult, once asked to borrow my car. I said no. She started on the guilt trip BS, and I just replied with "no, mom. That's all." She let it go.
Many years ago, I had a nice musclecar. A coworker asked to borrow it. I tossed him the keys. He came back a few minutes later complaining my battery was dead, it wouldn't start! Hehe... I never told him about the antitheft ignition lockout. 😂
There is a school near my house that had the same issue after bus service was cut. The school did everything they could to avoid causing problems for the surrounding houses, which included having parking enforcement officers present to remind parents they could not block driveways, the special needs bus, and fire hydrants. Every day I walked to pick up my daughter, I would see at least two cars receiving citations or some parent arguing with an officer that they were only gone for a minute while blocking someone’s driveway or the bus.
I feel bad for the ex-girlfriend's dad in the second story At least he seemed normal, but now he's married to a Karen Also, I wish I could have been there to say "Yes Karen, because demanding something while yelling, will get you what you want." 😅
Just thinking that "what type of idiot thinks that being rude increases her chances of getting anything?" Even Karens usually try first with the "Excuse me" not going directly to threats
@@cesaravegah3787 Children throwing temper tantrums get what they want half the time so of course they think throwing a temper tantrum will work for adults too.
@@girl1213 On my home throwing tantrums never got us what we wanted...and on rare ocasions where one of us sustained the tantrum for too long we got a slap on the butt and a time out, that gave us a servere case of "grow up to be decent human beings", something that is becoming rare nowdays.
Last story: Teresa sounds like my old manager (also named Teresa) who was an absolute monster to nasty customers who treated us badly, but did everything she could to help out anyone else in our store. She believed that you never knew what someone else was going through, so she always tried to help out or be kind or just have a smile for our customers and all the staff. But when she was nasty, WHOOO-BOY would she give it to them!
Story 1: it absolutely pisses me off when people try to take advantage of the kindness of others. Sort of the reason why I’ve stopped being helpful. I grew up poor. There were times I only got a book or some clothes for Christmas. My parents never considered going to charities for help. They were just going to have to teach us to appreciate what we got. Story 2: years ago my husband was involved in a very bad car accident. An ambulance had to be called for him. Not his fault. A week after we got the car back he gets into another one. Again not his fault. Minor fender bender.
But not enough These people don't care about what others think, only themselves. Other's opinions just bounce right off them. In the words of Depeche Mode "Words are meaningless and forgettable".
hopefully someone will take those FB posts and get them into the inboxes of the right organizations to stop this greedy thief stealing from those who really needed it
I liked the bit in the first story when you mentioned the multitude of complaints the Karen might of made and included "a dingo stole my baby". Being Australian I lived through that entire episode. I'm a little surpsised it made it all the way to America. :)
Iowa reported her to facebook. And I would have put a comment on how she tried to call me but it didn't work but she conned a lot of other people, and now she's selling her kids Christmas toys
School Parking Story: When the Ambulance couldn't get past all the cars, I'm surprised the Police didn't descend on the Neighbourhood to watch how people were Parked and to start handing out LOTS of Parking & Traffic Tickets and to tell the school administration to start doing something to control the traffic problems caused by their student's Parents or face Legal Consequences...
I just had an accident, I couldn't possibly get into another one. Let me tell you a story. I worked for a school bus company. Before every trip we're supposed to inspect our bus. One morning a driver was running late and didn't pretrip his bus. As he was leaving the yard the brakes failed and he had an accident. He then got into another bus and had a second accident. Thinking, what are the odds three buses had bad brakes he got into a third bus. If you guessed the brakes failed you get a cookie. Turns out someone had vandalized the buses by cutting the brake lines.
Last story, OP should press charges if the store didn't. Just in case Karen rewrote her brain to think OP really did attack her and then sued. Then not only will Karen lose the suit but OP would be entitled to counter-sue for harrassment, defamation, emotional distress, and likely win if the judge on the second case is competent and doesn't have an axe to grind...
Its sad that this is used as shorthand for lying about a tragedy, when the story is actually *true*. It took a long time and advances in forensics to prove it, but decades later they did prove that the parents were telling the truth.
I used to live next door to a Salvation Army that did this Christmas present charity thing. It was 2021, so still in the midst of Covid. Because of this, the present handout had to happen via car. Once you got to the front of the line, there were volunteers who would come to your car, ask how old your kids were and if they had a gendered preference, and they would get/pick their presents through their car windows. So for a month, there was a line of cars that wrapped all the way around the block and then some. I could hear the Karens from my place, screaming about wanting more presents, yelling over-the-top sob stories. The amount of luxury cars I saw in that line, y’all. Not to say that you can’t find yourself in a tight spot after previously being finically secure, but… I dunno… that means your kids already have stuff at home. This is meant for kids that don’t have *anything*, ya know? I even found myself in several verbal altercations with people blaring their horns nonstop, or blocking my (and everyone else’s) apartment entrance/driveway. People were literally refusing to give me the space to leave my home because, according to one woman, “If I let you out, how do I know you won’t just pull in front of me and cut me in line?” Ugh, Mam… I have to go to work. Christmas Karens are next level. Edit: oh, man. I paused after the first story to write this. Little did I know yet another story would apply. 😂
F that b trying to get free stuff so she can sell it! I actually have a kid (he's 24) and stopped asking people to give him gifts when he was 5. I am crying, that effing... I don't have words anymore.
Story 1: What that woman was doing is not just despicable, it is actually *criminal fraud.* Depending on the amount of stuff she collected from various people, it *may even be a felony,* especially since she was even reselling it, etc. She entirely _should have been reported to the police._ This also should have been reported to any of the charities she was receiving support from, and the marketplace site.
Just found your channel the other day, and I have to say, I LOVE the hilarious stories. Stories about wild, entitled people are always great entertainment!
*_A DINGO ATE YOUR BABY!_* I can't remember what 80's movie that line is from, but kudos to OP for using it...haven't heard anyone say that since elementary school, lol
Glad someone else got a kick out of this🤣 A cry in the dark was the movie (or evil angels in Aus and Nz). There's also a well known clip of Elaine from Seinfeld quoting the line, that was where my mind went first after reading this lol
Its based on a real court case. The woman was falsely convicted of murdering her baby only for advancements in forensics to prove she was truthful decades later.
I think there's only a few jobs where you can really get karen back for her nonsense. Beautician or hairstylist is a great 1. They never seem to realize tgat its in their best interest not to piss off the 1 currently in charge of their looks. Go ahead karen call the cops. You said you wanted it short.
*Story 2:* As someone who gets to work via a bicycle, I'd just like to point out how ridiculous the suggestion of riding a bike TEN MILES to work is, even if you completely ignore the fact OP also needed the car to visit customers. I ride an ebike that usually tops out at around 23mph. My ride to work is 2.4 miles and approximately 15 minutes long. A 10 mile bike ride on a normal bike, not including much-needed rest breaks, would take ONE HOUR. This Karen wants someone to cycle in the freezing winter cold for TWO HOURS A DAY so that SHE could use HIS car!
I've had cancer twice now, myself; but - ever since the 1st one hit 16 years ago now - not a month goes by without hearing some sob story - usually some stranger - about their "fight" with the big C. Now, don't get me wrong, both times going through the cancer treatments were the pits. But, thanks to the great drugs we have today I got thru the debilitating effects of those treatments fairly well. What's been harder to deal with is the extensive damage done to my body that I'll be dealing with the rest of my life; like the COPD in lungs that will soon force me onto oxygen (no, I never smoked), the arthritis that is crippling, and the tremor and other neurological issues (most days I can't write my name clearly). Not that I complain too much as I am just very grateful to still BE here! It could have so easily gone the other way, and where would my kids and family be? Don't get me wrong, I'm very grateful to family members and friends for everything they've done. Trips back and forth to doctors as I was certainly in no shape to drive. (When the tremors escalated to include random muscle spasms, mostly in my hands, I gave up driving as I feared I'd lose control of a car too easily.) But these jerks claiming to have cancer to play on the sympathy of others? That really burns my behind! I wish there was some way I could make such a person suffer thru the fun and joy of living a normal day as I do....
I've only been mistaken for a Server once and that idiot (I won't call her a Karen, I don't want to incur the Wrath of Karen's by Insulting them) did make the mistake of grabbing me...I didn't yank my sleeve out of her grasp because I didn't want to risk her Lee Press-On Talons tearing it, what I did however, was grab her wrist and squeeze as hard as I could (my arm strength has never been all that great, but I've ALWAYS had a freakishly strong grip)...she started wailing in pain the moment I started squeezing and opened her fingers a moment later because the bones of her arm were starting to grind together (something I know from painful personal experience HURTS LIKE HELL!!!) and the moment she let go of me, I let go of her... The police were called and despite the nasty bruise I left on her wrist, SHE was Arrested for Assault when the Security Cameras clearly showed her grabbing me and yanking me around to face her before I simply grabbed her wrist in self defense...The Officer told her that she's lucky grabbing her was the only thing I did to her since under the Self Defense Laws, I was fully within my right to punch or kick her if I wanted to... This was 35 years ago in the days before Karen's became the Plague we suffer with today... 😄😁😆😅😂🤣
First Story - This sort of thing is why I don't sell things online. It's bad enough when they show up and try to hold you up for less than the agreed amount, but expecting freebies?!
Story 1: She forgot to mention they survive a week of winter without food; alien abduction; near a bomb blast; multiple lightning strikes; and the bubonic plague.
Gift scammer story: OP, you did okay, but I agree. I would have screenshot all of that and sent the info to any and all the charities she scammed so they could investigate and maybe not be generous next year. She would have been selling your stuff as well, no doubts about it. Need car story: That was exactly the right and only thing to do, leave. Karens vs date story: OP, I can only hope you informed your actual manager of what happened, just in case they come to your place of work or leave "preemptive" bad reviews for your restaurant because of what happened. Broken toes story: What I don't understand is why Karen was taking stuff from OP's cart. OP was definitely shopping, not working there returning items to the shelves. I know Karens don't make much sense, but there's usually some kind of reason, however misguided or stupid.
I want to hear a manager reverse the acquisitions made about the 'server' and say "OH, we only hire slow stupid people because they are the only kind that will put up with stupid entitled customers." OR "We don't have any problem with that type of server, but we don't accept that kind of customer, I have to tell you to leave."
Story 2: I definitely would have had the EX wait at least another week before going back...just to let Karen know that she needs her more that the EX needs Karen. Story 4: Karen is damn lucky that OP didn't remove her hand from his person...ungently...then called the police for assault.
The restaurant 5 karens in 1 tabke. Seems like they have a "my husband to whom I don't sleep nor have sex with makes 100,000 dollars see you and everyone else beneath me."
Last story. That OP, manager, Teresa are wonderful people. I wish them all the best. Also I hope that Karen didn't have insurance and had to pay for the injury herself.
Story 2: this is exactly why good public transit is needed. IDK if Karen in this story could take the bus but there's a good chance she could have. Edit: NVM she took the train that should be her first thought.
21:34 She's not wrong to claim assault, that pole should be shamed of itself for existing in a place where she could kick it and break her toes trying to kick a person. How dare that pole have the nerve to assault that poor woman 😅
My mother in law borrowed my car while I was on a business trip. Her's was fine I don't know why she took mine. She destroyed the front bumper in a chuch parking lot and refused to pay for it

Just Move Story 4- Love that manager lol he gave no f's don't grab people at all especially after they say I don't work here why would they lie ? Story 5- oh the Karen caused all the drama and assaulted herself LMBO Thank you so much !!
Yeah, I’ve never hit a woman in my life, but if anyone ever grabs me like she did in that restaurant, she’s going to end up on her but embarrassed. You don’t go around grabbing people even if they are a server. She grabs you knock her on her, but then you press charges against her for assault. Add that insult to injury.
I love how people misunderstand probability. "I just had an accident so the odds of having another one are zero.". Nope - they're exactly the same as the odds of having the first one.
1st story- I've learned that when you are asked to make a custom order from someone you have never done business with before, charge them a down payment before work begins. It always weeds out the beggars
Story 1: Wait, were those kids left home alone? (I know that's something else Karens do.) Story 2: It is absolutely baffling that OP's ex chose her mother over him, when all she was ever going to do was use her. Parentification is abuse, period. A real babysitter is someone who *chooses* to do the job.

I would have told her I don't loan my car to anyone, I'm not a car rental service! I also don't loan my car or anything else to someone just because they demand it. Only entitled idiots demand someone else's belongings!
"Which bit of the word 'NO!' have I failed to communicate, MOTHER?"
@@sarumano884The "no" part because that word is gibberish and doesn't exist in the world of Kare
@@sarumano884She probably never heard no in her life. Her parents probably spoiled her to the max.
Major props to the manager in the last story. Actual above and beyond behaviour.
Awesom manger
Karen from the second story: "I'm not asking you again!"
Me: "You never even asked in the first place, lady!"
Yah. "Which bit of the word 'No' have I failed to communicate?"
First story, I would have contacted every organization that she scammed and informed them that she was selling what she'd been so graciously given on marketplace.
Same.
The last one... the police should have asked about charges of assault (since she clearly intended to harm OP and harassment)
Story 4 - Jim is badass, he said what ALL of us (myself included) want to say to idiot Karens. I applaud Jim and many like him.
and the reason they left is because they got their ‘Reality Checks’ cashed and were outright humiliated in front of everyone in the restaurant
@@JohnH20111 Yup.😂😂😂
When I was to the university, I've work for a year and half in a wharehouse store (2 summers and between). Than, after university, I've quit the region for almost a decade. When I came back live, I bought a house and got to this store a couple of time. Funny enough, I was often mistaken as a worker there (even without the outfit and just going around with my stuff to buy). It was kind of funny to help and direct them to the actual workers! But I still don't know why it was happening!
First story: Choosing begger + entitled Christmas Karen = the worst person ever! Of all time!
The Karen walking out of the restaurant- isn't it great when the trash takes itself out?
Story 4: "Servers should greet customers 30 seconds after they sit"
OCD Karens are annoying, thinking that the world should abide by their rules for the world
OP said in the story that she was actually quoting a manual on service protocol, but she was being a bitch either way
That first story doesn't surprise me.
So you abuse what little power you think you have. Wow, you Karens are everywhere.
Bye."
My own mother, who's never done anything else like this since I've been an adult, once asked to borrow my car.
Story 2: So we all understand that either the car would have been totalled…or just not returned to Op because “we need a car SOOO much more than you”.
I feel bad for the ex-girlfriend's dad in the second story
At least he seemed normal, but now he's married to a Karen
Also, I wish I could have been there to say "Yes Karen, because demanding something while yelling, will get you what you want." 😅
No, you can't have my car. That's all you have to say.
But not enough These people don't care about what others think, only themselves. Other's opinions just bounce right off them. In the words of Depeche Mode "Words are meaningless and forgettable".
No explanation needed. I need my car, period. She can go rent one! 😡
If you try to assault someone and you get injured, did you assault yourself? Maybe she can take herself to court for the damages😂
Final Story - Now THAT was Poetic Justice! Serves that stupid Karen right!
Pure beautiful karma! 😂
hopefully someone will take those FB posts and get them into the inboxes of the right organizations to stop this greedy thief stealing from those who really needed it
The guy in the second story was way too polite, don’t let that psycho started demanding my car I’d be giving the same single word answer: no.
The last story: laughing at the Karen's injury is the very definition of Schadenfreude. 😊😅
Car accident story. So many of these confrontations can be stopped by saying, "This is no longer a conversation." And walk away.
Don't ever lay your hands on someone if you want to keep them.
Karen: "Give me the car! I'm not asking again!!"
Also Karen, 5 seconds later, repeating 3 times: "Give me the f-ing car keys already!!!""
I love the idea of premade stockings like that. I’ll have to look into that for next year.
I liked the bit in the first story when you mentioned the multitude of complaints the Karen might of made and included "a dingo stole my baby". Being Australian I lived through that entire episode. I'm a little surpsised it made it all the way to America. :)
I believe there was a made-for-TV movie about it, back in the days of only three networks. A LOT of Americans saw it, and the phrase caught on.
It was also mentioned in Seinfeld
Last story: "I'll see you in court" Dang right you will, I am NOT missing this show.
Iowa reported her to facebook. And I would have put a comment on how she tried to call me but it didn't work but she conned a lot of other people, and now she's selling her kids Christmas toys

Story 1: and Karen took her children's gifts away from them herself to sell them!!
Story 3 - Wow, and I thought the Springfield Elementary School budget cuts from the Simpsons was bad, but this is unbelievable.
If you're 5 miles from one school, odds are you're less than 1/2 from another.
Story 2: These who say they won't be in a accident are the poor drivers ones who can't drive straight. Seriously rent a UBER, it's that simple.
Not only that, but you never know what other person will wreck into you.
About 80% of people claim to be "above average" drivers, which means, mathematically, at least 31% of people are wrong about their skill level.
Story one.... "A dingo ate her baby!".... 😂👍
Story 1. I hope someone told the charities about this. And that they put her on a "no service" list.

*_A DINGO ATE YOUR BABY!_*
I can't remember what 80's movie that line is from, but kudos to OP for using it...haven't heard anyone say that since elementary school, lol
Glad someone else got a kick out of this🤣
A cry in the dark was the movie (or evil angels in Aus and Nz). There's also a well known clip of Elaine from Seinfeld quoting the line, that was where my mind went first after reading this lol
It's "A Cry In The Dark". ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Its based on a real court case. The woman was falsely convicted of murdering her baby only for advancements in forensics to prove she was truthful decades later.
2nd story: in some states, it's illegal for anyone not covered by the vehicle's insurance to operate a motor vehicle.

"The odds are impossible!"
You were already in a accident. The odds are very probable.

First Story - This sort of thing is why I don't sell things online. It's bad enough when they show up and try to hold you up for less than the agreed amount, but expecting freebies?!
Story 1: Could OP have let FB know about the faker? Would FB have done anything about it? (I doubt they would, just wondering though.)
Story 1: She forgot to mention they survive a week of winter without food; alien abduction; near a bomb blast; multiple lightning strikes; and the bubonic plague.
Such back luck 🙄

Acquisition?
Story 2: I definitely would have had the EX wait at least another week before going back...just to let Karen know that she needs her more that the EX needs Karen.
Story 4: Karen is damn lucky that OP didn't remove her hand from his person...ungently...then called the police for assault.
Story 2: EM: GIVE ME YOUR CAR! I WON'T ASK AGAIN!

The restaurant 5 karens in 1 tabke. Seems like they have a "my husband to whom I don't sleep nor have sex with makes 100,000 dollars see you and everyone else beneath me."
I'd tell her in no uncertain terms, "I DON'T WORK HERE, B****!" 😡
Last story. That OP, manager, Teresa are wonderful people. I wish them all the best. Also I hope that Karen didn't have insurance and had to pay for the injury herself.

She's not wrong to claim assault, that pole should be shamed of itself for existing in a place where she could kick it and break her toes trying to kick a person. How dare that pole have the nerve to assault that poor woman 😅

Story 5- oh the Karen caused all the drama and assaulted herself LMBO
Thank you so much !!
When I was a server, I also had a regular like Jim. He's one of the few people I miss from that job.
STORY 2
IF THE KAREN RUNS A RED
LIGHT WHY SHOULD OP TRUST HER WITH HIS CAR
ESPECIALLY IF KAREN DAMAGED HER OWN CAR
WHEN SHE DID IT.
Story 2: What I picked up on was what the mother said to her husband. "Just shut up, you" was it? I shudder to think what his life is like.
Sorry, "Nobody asked you'! Was the actual quote.
"I'm not asking you again."
"Good, then this last 'no' can be the final one."
I love how people misunderstand probability. "I just had an accident so the odds of having another one are zero.". Nope - they're exactly the same as the odds of having the first one.
Story 5 is pure r/thathappened material.
1st story- I've learned that when you are asked to make a custom order from someone you have never done business with before, charge them a down payment before work begins. It always weeds out the beggars
Story 1: Wait, were those kids left home alone? (I know that's something else Karens do.)
Story 2: It is absolutely baffling that OP's ex chose her mother over him, when all she was ever going to do was use her. Parentification is abuse, period. A real babysitter is someone who *chooses* to do the job.
