    • @ToastedHashbrown
      @ToastedHashbrown 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because the "war" in Ukraine is a nothingburger. Corrupt media wants you to think Russia is more worser than Hortler and Drumph combined on a unicycle duel weilding machine guns and eating ice cream sandwiches riding up a mountain backwards while still commanding their own deep sea underwater armies of white men who all own rental property on the side and eat nothing but red meat while they salute the American flag every morning.
      And I would not be suprised at all if the "news" unrionically reported exactly this.

    My dad makes waffles out of leftover mashed potatoes all the time and he uses this exact method! He calls them "potaffles" and sometimes serve them with whipped sour cream and onion butter he'd make from scratch. Ah, I miss home food 😭

    My mom made these quite often. Not same as yours. On Saturday or Sunday we often have potato waffle. In potato waffle was sausages cut into small pieces with red and green bell pepper, garlic and rosemary. She used sharp cheddar, monterey jack, and smoked gouda instead. She never liked using process cheese, we stayed away from it. She made dipping sauce with cream cheese mixed in with cut up pieces of bacon, dice tomato, snipes of parsley with added herbs of basil and oregano (sometimes she add dill and thyme instead of basil and oregano or blend of all of them) and chopped caramalize onions. It was one of favorite weekend brunch after we finished doing weekend morning chores.

    The Joy of Cooking: I love how you sensualize the process of preparing food. The camera angles...the sounds...lifting a knife...sliding it through a potato...the sound of an empty pot begging for a purpose....the food is the focus...the technique is the topic...the chef is not the 'celebrity' so it could be me... I can do this.

    I do something similar with left over mashed potatoes, but I mix in grated parm & chopped up bacon. Sometimes, I mix in a little horseradish to give it some kick. I just wish I had the style you do when cooking! Great video as always

      sim a questão do som é muito importante porque ao contrário de outros videos de receitas em que os cozinheiros falam sem parar como papagaios com vozes estridentes ou quase aos gritos, e também há os que ás vozes desagradáveis ainda acrescentam uma espécie de musica de fundo horrorosa que eu acabo de fugir dali para outro video á procura de paz e se possível alguma contenção nas vozes e essa receita barulhenta fica esquecida

    These look okay. We make ours in a Waffle maker but use a potato pancake recipe with grated raw potatoes, grated onion, eggs, flour, salt and pepper. They come out crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! I imagine you could use most any potato pancake recipe! Spray your waffle maker with a tiny bit of nonstick spray to prevent sticking. ❤❤❤

    I once made something like this and to be funny I dumped a whole bunch of grass from my front lawn in it. Later, when I served them to guests I thought they would politely not finish what they started after I generously served their plates with my mean dinner fare. They loved it and thought the grass was chives. I tried it too and it was delicious. I told everyone that I dumped grass from my front lawn in it and no one believed me. Now I make them with grass all the time.
