My first pull after my Texas Speed 427 Dart LS Next2, F1X build was almost the last. I had a tire on the car still spun 2nd,3rd, it hooked in 4th as I short shifted. The boost dropped down real low, so it caught traction. As the boost came on again real hard like the F1X's do at the top it spun hard in 4th. The highway was turning slightly to the right but at 140mph a slight curve begins to tighten up real fast. I think i had too low air pressure in the rears combined with everything else and I lost it. It went sideways at 140 and it stayed sideways. The corner went right and then went left but somehow the car threaded through them both completely sideways. I didn't have my hands on the steering wheel at this point as I completely accepted it was all over and crossed my arms on my chest waiting for impact. It never came however, and we ended up facing forward in the right-hand lane. When the smoke cleared, we ended up in almost the exact same position in the exact same lane as we started. It looked like someone had done a slow rolling burnout perfectly through both curves. The only damage was to the rr wheel that had hit a rock or something while we were sideways and gouged it pretty good. Fun (lucky) times with big power.
Owned Firebirds/Camaro’s all my life, from a 3rd gen v6 bird, LT1 4th gen, LS1 4th gen, supercharged 5th gen SS, to a 6th gen SS. Now I own a 30,000 miles 07 Z06 and a 45,000 miles 1995 caprice wagon and couldn’t be happier. The Vette is an entirely different animal than the Camaros were. I feel like I have achieved the perfect balance of practicality and fun lmao
I'm from Europe. From a technical point of view, I'm interested in not seeing a filter on the compressor? And the tubes from the compressor lead under the front bumper. Is there a classic compressed air cooler (intercoler) or does the compressed air just cool the pipes themselves?

Car had a magnason on it originally & made 790 wheel. Drove stock but there’s no comparison to this giant centrifugal YSI blower power is unreal 1016 wheel power now.
Making that much power with rwd on the street is a death trap. It gets difficult to use it all once you approach the 1000hp mark. Often times 800hp cars will walk the 1000hp car because they actually get traction. This car at the strip on slicks would be wicked tho

The cutout is actually for the intake manifold. The YSI blower fits just fine under a vettes hood. Pretty crazy, right?
