hows the drivetrain hold up especially at the strip ? was gonna get a hellcat but kinda would like a 3131 pound car makes for easy times takes less hp.....and whats a good mileage to price for one I know the markets a bit fucked up rn but

I love all Vettes but the C6 Z06 is legendary who doesn't love a N/A 7 liter 427 V8 😁 but my absolute favorite Vette is the Pratt & Miller C6RS with the K-tech 8.2 liter 500 cubic inch and all the other upgrades it has lol $250,000.00 back in 2006 was pretty exspensive though $65,000.00 for the doner Z06 and $185,000.00 to Pratt & Miller for the upgrades .
There’s no replacement for displacement. The C6Z is an extraordinary car. I sold mine in 2013 because I was moved by my company to an overseas assignment. I want to buy another one very badly.

You should be making more HP with your setup. I had a 15 C7 with A&A and was making 575 with stock headers. With headers you should be over 600. Now the headers will drop your boost from 6.5 to about 5 so a pulley change will be needed.
chris harvill I’ve never had it dynoed im just guessing 570-580 it has a 4.0 pulley so I’m guessing it makes idk 6-7 lbs??? Plus I’m on 90 octane where I live...I’m doing a forged motor, lt4 fuel system, meth, low side, e85 and a ysi over the winter
Chris not necessarily true. It depends on your setup and what you put down stock as well. Also if your an auto or manual makes a difference as well as the manual can put down 30-40 rwhp over an auto. My C7 Z51 A8 gained 135 rwhp 109 lb/ft rwtq with just an ECS blower bolted on. Im at 543 rwhp 535 rwtq now but i also have the auto. Catless Headers might get me to 560-570 rwhp.

The c7 sounds mean but when I heard the ls7 I felt pretty sure it would clobber the LT1. I traded my silver '08 C6Z with 35k miles, full exhaust, cai and tune for a bone stock white '16 C7Z w/ 3800 miles back last fall, and I do miss that high-strung N/A 427 at times!
Everyone needs to ride in a C6 Z06 you'll have a lot more respect 427 revving to 7,200 rpm is a pulling train and then some simple bolt ons and then a cam the hard to beat for a N/A engine..
Lol c'mon not a fair race at all! The C6 Z06 is already like 300 pounds lighter than C7 and thw rwhp difference too makes it basically like 100 rwhp advantage for Z06. C7 would need 700+rwhp to even compete with that particular Z06.

c6z is king till this day ...people always tryna compare the ls3 to the flaws of the ls7 head issue and piston walls but it all depends on the build application .mines is a erl sleeved block ls7 forged everything ready for boost but no reason to because these noobs thinks a supercharger or boost etc is going to save them from a n.a HCI Z

Just do a full build, you'll smoke em. You'll still gain power on the low end with all those mods.

@@zx6r1320 Drivetrain holds up extremely well. My Z06 has about 200,000 miles on it and It's still destroying. No drivetrain issues.

Finally bought another. 600 rwhp NA. The motor is forged and ready for nitrous or a blower. Just keeping it NA for now.

That 427 is a torque monster
You should be making more HP with your setup. I had a 15 C7 with A&A and was making 575 with stock headers. With headers you should be over 600. Now the headers will drop your boost from 6.5 to about 5 so a pulley change will be needed.
