I was always looking for used games on sale when I was a kid, and I bought my copy from my local Blockbuster that was trying to get rid of extra inventory. I traded it in at a Gamestop for store credit in 2005; all I can do is shake my head now

El Chavo del ocho was a popular character that had both live acting & cartoon versions in Mexico, I think it would be more my parents generation like 1970s they grew up watching some of that. I used to watch & think it was hilarious when I was younger glad I did. The actor who made him famous died some years back , remember my parents being pretty bummed out

It’s pretty crazy how the shift has occurred, but the timing makes sense. It’s been around 15 years since GH and RB were blazing their respective trails. If one were 12 then, they’d be 27ish now…with nostalgic memories and some disposable income.

When I heard and saw El Chavo, that brought back so many memories from my childhood. Like I'm 23 alright lol I watched it when I was 4 or 5 with my grandparents and I would laugh non stop. Learning Spanish along the way as a 2nd native language since I'm Hispanic is even more of a plus. Im just surprise there's a El Chavo Kart racing game like :0 this is a need in the future lol. I loved the video in general.

About El chavo being NTSC and needed for a full ps3 colection, Im snatchin the *Gran turismo 6 Aytron Senna* Edition whenever I can, there is a Brazilian Edition but there is also a NTSC version, my plan is to resell those eventually in USA and make those pay for my clay fighters Sculptor's cut 😁
@@MortsGarage there is also an anime that was never showed in USA because it was too violent, it was called *caballeros del zodiaco* has 3 ps3 games that were only sold in japan and 3 latín american counties, incuding México, 3 games were released and sold in México, only one of those is NTCS, but all of them were oficially sold there, so if you want an NTSC full colection you will need at least one of those, and if you want a full north american colection you will need the 3 of them
I’m curious where do u guys get your stock. Like after you sell a bunch of stuff. How do u replenish without having to pay the prices us buyers have to pay while making a profit. Genuinely curious.
It’s usually out at the swap meets, thrift stores, garage sales, etc. I go out actively looking a few times a month, or may stop somewhere on the way home from work. Feel free to ask questions!
Testing games is indeed the most time consuming/annoying thing. I fucking hate some of the Spyro games because they have long, unskippable cutscenes at the beginning; I test until gameplay always.
I need to be honest with you about something, I shared a tear. Usually when I see convention videos it's usually a bunch of buyers celebrating their pilfered wins. It bit honestly depresses me knowing that these games are going into gamers hands to play but in resellers hands to flip or for a collectors to sit on. It's honestly the reason why I usually unsubscribe. It's also the reason why this is been the one video that I have purposely triee to avoid. As I was afraid that my fears about you were also going to come true. I've never been more pleasantly surprised in many years. Not only are you an awesome ambassador for gaming as a 360 degree hobby, as a gamer, collector, seller, and publicizer, but you actually care. As someone that had to stop gaming for over 10 years due to psoriatic arthritis and came back recently I was a bit disappointed by how retrogaming has turned from something that we used to make fun of the kid down the street for into a asset class derivative piece of nothing. Games used to live in our memories, and would be cherished in our hearts when they hit the right notes. Too many times those that cherish the experience on TH-cam, don't have the same sellers angle as they usually are also collectors. Or I see those that analyze games but lack the emotional connection. And again hit both. Your willingness to provide deals for the story, your sharing of the passion with other sellers, and the honesty you bring, just left me with a tear that knowing that this TH-cam channel will one day be over a million subscribers as we watch, participate hopefully, and enjoy the fun you bring. Although I waited to watch this TH-cam video cuz I was afraid it was going to cause me to hate your passion for money, but I was wrong, or that I was going to be let down by just a drive for the pageantry of selling, and again I was wrong. You truly do bring something special to the table, and I don't know if you know that. But the fact that I get to enjoy this is early in your life as you are is going to be as amazing as I've seen a rise in a long time. Thanks again Mort. as I say that I'm currently going into the ICU for my mother-in-law. Now I get to go in with a smile on my face

I’m curious where do u guys get your stock. Like after you sell a bunch of stuff. How do u replenish without having to pay the prices us buyers have to pay while making a profit. Genuinely curious.
It’s usually out at the swap meets, thrift stores, garage sales, etc. I go out actively looking a few times a month, or may stop somewhere on the way home from work. Feel free to ask questions!

Testing games is indeed the most time consuming/annoying thing. I fucking hate some of the Spyro games because they have long, unskippable cutscenes at the beginning; I test until gameplay always.

I need to be honest with you about something, I shared a tear. Usually when I see convention videos it's usually a bunch of buyers celebrating their pilfered wins. It bit honestly depresses me knowing that these games are going into gamers hands to play but in resellers hands to flip or for a collectors to sit on. It's honestly the reason why I usually unsubscribe. It's also the reason why this is been the one video that I have purposely triee to avoid. As I was afraid that my fears about you were also going to come true.
I've never been more pleasantly surprised in many years. Not only are you an awesome ambassador for gaming as a 360 degree hobby, as a gamer, collector, seller, and publicizer, but you actually care. As someone that had to stop gaming for over 10 years due to psoriatic arthritis and came back recently I was a bit disappointed by how retrogaming has turned from something that we used to make fun of the kid down the street for into a asset class derivative piece of nothing. Games used to live in our memories, and would be cherished in our hearts when they hit the right notes. Too many times those that cherish the experience on TH-cam, don't have the same sellers angle as they usually are also collectors. Or I see those that analyze games but lack the emotional connection. And again hit both.
Your willingness to provide deals for the story, your sharing of the passion with other sellers, and the honesty you bring, just left me with a tear that knowing that this TH-cam channel will one day be over a million subscribers as we watch, participate hopefully, and enjoy the fun you bring. Although I waited to watch this TH-cam video cuz I was afraid it was going to cause me to hate your passion for money, but I was wrong, or that I was going to be let down by just a drive for the pageantry of selling, and again I was wrong. You truly do bring something special to the table, and I don't know if you know that. But the fact that I get to enjoy this is early in your life as you are is going to be as amazing as I've seen a rise in a long time.

Not really, but I’d suggest googling “video game convention” in general or “retro video game convention” and your general area. You’ll likely find something.
