    Special thanks to niamtxiv for providing the video. :)
    Special thanks to my Ghao Xong friend from China for translating this video for us. :)
    Hmong subtitles made by me.
    This is 1 music video version of this song. There are also 2 other music video of this song, however it is still blocked in China and also not uploaded in China. This video was a LUCKY FIND! The blockage of videos in China is a real challenge to get! SO PLEASE Enjoy! Niamtxiv found this video by luck to share it with me and with me to share to you all on my channel. He also have uploaded the same video on his channel as well. :)

      +HmongbDebQeut (HmoobTebChaws) The singing from the beginning is actually Ghao Xiong, not Hmu. =D

      +niam txiv Really? I know that Xongb words tend to have lots of R sounds, but if that is the case. Ok! Will change it. Thank you. :)

      +HmongbDebQeut (HmoobTebChaws) This music video is beautiful. I really hope that you guys can find the other version of music video.
      The 2nd version will probably be focusing on the Hmong group more, much like how this version focused mainly on the Hmu and Ghao Xiong.
      Lei Ayouduo looks beautiful in all three different outfits.

      AtarashiNOhi Yes you're right. I've seen the second version where they featured the Small Flowery Miao in the music video, however it is blocked. I haven't seen the Xong version anywhere else yet, so maybe in the future, they will release it as well.

      HmongbDebQeut (HmoobTebChaws) I'd say that it is complete nonsense to have the video blocked.

    Such a beautiful song, beautiful melody, and gorgeous Miao village scenery! So want if it's "propagandous"? So long as it's composed and sung with sincere feelings by the singers and Miao people, such feelings should be at least respected and not ridiculed. To be honest, I was actually very moved by the song. Plus, this song actually alludes to a historical episode in the 1930's when Mao Zedong led the Red Army through the Miao regions in Guizhou at the start of the epic Long March. His strategy of making alliances with many ethnic minorities in the southwest paved a smoother path for their Long March, which led to eventual victory over the the Nationalist Party. Although this song sings about the visit by the current President Xi, it also relates to the visit by the then Chairman Mao in a more nostalgic emotion, and tells of not to forget about the good deeds brought about by Mao and the Red Army. Political as it may be, but this is the history, and the true feelings, I believe, of the Miao people.

    The male singer's name is Chun Lei (not Chen Lei), an ethnic Han from Liaoning province in the northeast. He is actually a singer/song-writer, not a producer. He has many other songs with varied styles, written and sung by himself. This particular song is also written by him.

    To the guy "chillio" downstair: please stop spewing your imagined lies about the Han Chinese. Ethnic Han and Miao are brothers sisters of the same blood. They get along perfectly well with each other. Don't you USA Hmong try to sow discords between them!

      @@RiceBowl14 Yep, i stopped supporting a lot of SE Asians after learning about things like the Pathet Lao trying to wipe us out, also forcing a lot of us that didn't make it to america to flee back to china for safety and china legit took them back in. Also a lot of hmongs that never left to SE Asia actually helped Mao Zedong's communist party win back China thats why they have a memorial of us there for that deed even though its not known in the states.

    ask if the hmong in china would agree to discard the Pollard Script that they use right now, and change it to the french script we hmong miskas and lao use...the french script is more manageable and easier to write and use.

    • @HmongbDebQeutHmoobTebChaws
      @HmongbDebQeutHmoobTebChaws  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Pollard Script you're talking about is actually easy to use. I haven't learn it myself, but others who've studied the writing system said it was easy to learn. It is more used among the A-Hmao groups, and not by the Hmong groups. Hmong used the Western Miao writing system that's the Latin-based alphabet like ours. It's really easy to read and use the Western Miao writing system, but I would have to say it fits with their dialect in China though.

      +k.v Yes they are singing in Chinese. What you're saying is a fine example of like Hmong artist singing in English, and/or Lao/Thai too. No difference. It's just music to promote themselves. As long the artist like AYouDuo love promoting our people, and culture, I am happy enough already. :)

    You guys want to know the real deal behind this act? The Han Chinese are running out of females, they've killed off too many daughters over the years and have always wanted sons. The one child policy has also impacted their population. Hmong/Miao is flourished with daughters, as well as sons. The reason is to reunite so that they can repopulate by taking the daughters.
    Don't believe? Read the news, Chinese population is having difficulty with daughter offspring, gender imbalance, their population is 5-10 male:1 female.

    • @soysuva12
      @soysuva12 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've read an article about the drop in female population in china due to the "one child policy", but I don't see any news of them trying to take the daughters of Miao/Hmong people. Do you have a link to the article you speak of? or is this just a theory to what you think is happening behind the eyes of the people? Sorry, I'm not doubting you. i just need real facts of this actually happening.
