Being an oily skin person I have not used sunscreen till I was 25 because even though I wanted to use them most of them got me more acne, make my skin dull or straight up irritated my skin. So, I m happy I can use them as much as needed in a day without this issues. I want to thank you and all the people for bringing awareness and demanding more formulas so every skin time can use and are more easily available.😊

So I have been using a sunscreen called photostable recommended by my Dermat friend .. I have oily acne prone oily skin which sweats as well in Summer I m just loving it. I don’t know why that sunscreen is not talked about .. also plz buy regular photostable spf 40 .. photostable gold version one is horrible plz don’t buy that
I loved the untinted Qurez much. But the tinted one was also nice, however, it oxidised a lot on my skin. I don't know why. Also a bit sticky after I was done applying, but I still gave it a shot since it was tinted and i could set it with a compact. The humidity here didn't let it work though. Or maybe I used too much of it. For some reason, the tinted version didn't work for me. It ended up being too orangey by lunchtime when i wore it to work. I so wanted it to work so that I can skip bb creams and foundations. :( got dr sheths now and it's a great sunscreen. Minimalist spf 50 is what I have been using daily and it stings my eyes.
Hey Sampati, i recently purchased the Dr Seth Sunscreen on your recommendation and I must say it's hand down one of the best sunscreens I've used till date.I have dusky skin so it leaves absolutely no white cast , is hydrating and works pretty well in all seasons 👍😊.
The sunscreen was pilling over moisturiser because your moisturiser is probably oil based and the sunscoop fluid sunscreen is water based. Water based products on top of oil based products will come off. :)

The texture and feel of the Dr sheths sunscreen is an absolute dream ! It's so beautiful. Buttt. It broke me out 😭. I tried using it again after a few days and it broke me out again. So sad about it. The conscious chemist one is just 👌👌👌👌 lovely texture. Love how it feels. I have hyperpigmentation prone skin and i feel it does not protect me enough while outdoors, so I wear it indoors. Doesn't pill even after 3 applications. Just wish it could be heigher spf value

But when I'm on a budget I go for the LA shield fisico one . I use that on days when i have breakouts as the zinc oxide base really helps calm my skin down . No white cast on my dusky skin .

Hey Samapti I would like to incorporate the minimalist niacinimide 10% serum and also the alpha arbutin 2% one in my routine. Should I add a vitamin c serum in the place of the niacinimide one and incorporate the niacinimide in the form of a moisturiser or should I not. Can you also suggest a good moisturiser with niacinimide if so. My skin concerns are a few new acne marks and stubborn suntan that has been on my skin for ages.
I'm not samapti di but i hope i can help you 😂 what i think is use Alpha arbutin and vitamin c as serums and use the Cetaphil brightening night cream as the moisturizer. It has enough niacinamide and works very well, my mom and i both loved it and even Samapti di loved it. You can use it as a day moisturizer as well but if it's too expensive for you, use it just for night and go for another moisturizer in day (me and my mom use the normal Cetaphil moisturizing lotion in daytime)

I got white bumps after using the ceramide sunscreen. I stopped using this and it stopped further white bumps formation(maybe milia, had to extract those).So switched back to my old la shield Fisico one.

Qurez non tinted version I brought long back and I hated it. Texture and everything is good but gives patchy white and reapplication is a terrible task.

Dark body parts are normal especially if you are a person of colour u aren't necessarily meant to be the same colour all over this is a eurocentric beauty standard There are products with tyrosinase inhibitors which might help but i doubt it lightens healthy skin without any side effects usually over the counter products only helps with pih and sun damage

I have never come across any sunscreen which did not peel. If not immediately, after a few hours each sunscreen (including Dr. Sheth's) peels from my skin which is very irritating. Can you suggest sunscreens keeping the peeling effect specially in mind. If not separate sunscreen, maybe tricks and tips to avoid sunscreen peeling.
It may work 🙋🏻♀️ It’s not sticky or oily but certainly on the thicker side 🌻 If you don’t like thick sunscreens then you won’t like this one. It works for me and I find this to be really nourishing. Filters are great too.
Finding a sunscreen for dusky skin is really tough☹️ I liked querez one, but it gives a kind of shade that looks extremely different from that of rest of the body Otherwise it was really good one🤩
Very dusky person here, and I totally agree with you. It's tough. It's tougher when you are dusky, have oily skin, and sweat a lot... (I fall into this category) Did not find my go to sunscreen till now. (I am broke so I have not experimented a lot as well)

@@aryanj6501 I use Neutrogena... I do not completely like it because it makes my skin oily and I don't even use moisturizer under sunscreen. Some protection is better than no protection I believe. But I guess broke, very dusky, oily, sweaty people like me cannot ever win.

@@explorer4563 actually they're both really awesome.. the spf 50 one is lightweight and non greasy on my combination, sometimes oily acne prone skin.. and like the spf 30 one has a much silicone-y finish, the spf 50 one is more hydrating and moisturizing.. and the best part, it's all of those and doesn't pill..

Dr Sheth's Vitamin C and Ceramide cream just ruined my skin single-handedly. So much acne and so many breakouts were caused. It completely covered my face with tiny bumps. It's the worst product I've used in recent times. My skin is taking weeks to heal from the trauma caused by this sunscreen.

Dark body parts are normal especially if you are a person of colour u aren't necessarily meant to be the same colour all over this is a eurocentric beauty standard
There are products with tyrosinase inhibitors which might help but i doubt it lightens healthy skin without any side effects usually over the counter products only helps with pih and sun damage

Sunscoop fluid sunscreen is grainy. And whats the use if its not sweat proof.. Its so humid and hot in delhi.
I have never come across any sunscreen which did not peel. If not immediately, after a few hours each sunscreen (including Dr. Sheth's) peels from my skin which is very irritating. Can you suggest sunscreens keeping the peeling effect specially in mind. If not separate sunscreen, maybe tricks and tips to avoid sunscreen peeling.

If you don’t like thick sunscreens then you won’t like this one. It works for me and I find this to be really nourishing. Filters are great too.
Finding a sunscreen for dusky skin is really tough☹️
I liked querez one, but it gives a kind of shade that looks extremely different from that of rest of the body

@@aryanj6501 I use Neutrogena... I do not completely like it because it makes my skin oily and I don't even use moisturizer under sunscreen. Some protection is better than no protection I believe.
But I guess broke, very dusky, oily, sweaty people like me cannot ever win.
@@ashmitamandal8285 doesn't the Neutrogena one have fragrance if u are comfortable with fragrance u should definitely try fixderma spf 30 gel it doesn't leave a white cast and the texture is insanely good plus its very affordable I loved it so much but i don't like fragrance on my leave on products:( also it's only spf 30 compared the one u currently use which is spf 50

Talking about the fragrance, yes I do not prefer leave on products with fragrance either. But you know, when it is already a losing game, I thought I should not expect too much, especially when I am broke.
I use fragrance free cleanser, toner, serums, moisturizer etc though.

Hi. That's not necessary. If you have makeup on, it might be tricky. But if you just have sunscreen on, you can reapply over it.

Dr Sheth's Vitamin C and Ceramide cream just ruined my skin single-handedly. So much acne and so many breakouts were caused. It completely covered my face with tiny bumps. It's the worst product I've used in recent times. My skin is taking weeks to heal from the trauma caused by this sunscreen.
