- In this video, we head to back to Level 7 Motorsports for a bit of a unique "thrash" to get a truck ready for some racing. In this instance, we've partnered up with Detroit Speed to create a new DSE Ambassador in new-autocross racer, Keith Sadler (@ls.twin_turbo), and boy, are we all proud to see it come to fruition!

Honestly,...IM SO IN LOVE AND IMPRESSED WITH THE SHOP!!! What a impeccable workshop for molding a Truck!!! I would just about give a testicle for a shop like that to work on my K5 Blazer!!! VERY IMPRESSED!!!!
Grease mud made me chuckle. I was so glad when I got all the Grease mud off my 37 Chev PU. It's now a clean frame, It's been sprayed with primer but with all the mods, it will get sandblasted and painted again.
Currently daydreaming about how cool Raymond (my '72 C10) would look with these parts & pieces...not to mention how much fun it would be to drive! Great job on the coverage & Jesse's shop is truly first rate!

Totally awesome set up . When I seen it I had to grab my note book to write down the suspension kit. I think ima get that same set up for my 85 short box. Super awsome show by the way

This is just Sq body truck at another level ....the science and the knowledge is just out of this world ...I happy you got to film this , every one gets exposure, great group of guys , your right it's a brother and sister hood . United By truck is a perfect name ...

This was informative enough to help someone like myself make a decision on what I want to put on my truck and now know what I can expect. DSE makes some killer products and really glad they came out with some top notch parts for our trucks.

I just watched and drove the same autocross course this truck drove at Ls fest I was in the hurst group , I had the red and black square body , the blue and white truck was carving some corners man he was gettin it , and the level 7 truck was also a rush to watch
, seeing these truck make me want upgrade

Yes that would be awesome I had a 96 Chevy C1500 hit a deer and had a hell of a time trying to find an honest shop to help me put it back together end up having to takeoff from work for like a week to do it myself The only good thing that came out of it is I got to do with my nephew and we got to talk and have fun and I will remember that forever
That's a good point, and why I went to school for Motorsports, and Collision Repair. I couldn't find a shop that did legit work. I really don't understand why some shops take the customer's $$$, but lack the critical skills to execute the work. It grinds my gears to hear about people getting ripped off.
Cause shops that do QUALITY work cost money and everyone seems to want the cheapest and the fastest jobs.
💯..because I'm really enjoying Level 7 Motorsports builds.
What a awesome kit! I had talked to Detroit speed guys when they was at LST 2020 and they was working on a kit for the 67-72 but nothing in production at the time. Glad they finally got it rolled out!

LS Fest rt here in Kentucky and my 82 Gmc 5.3 4l80e swap isn't done. The guy doing the swap is there though. 😂 waiting on the trans to come back from the shop and then I'm rollin again.

Great video. I would like to see Keith drive it on a course and compare it to his old suspension to include ride quality, handling, brake dive, etc. once he has had a chance to dial it in. I like these suspension builds but most of them don't mention the results - How does it ride?
My 81 c10 looks like this except blue and silver scheme with 383 stroker. The sc potholes have me considering raising it back up a bit!

Seriously comprehensive kit. Just something ive run into on earlier ps pumps, some have a.valve that varies ps pressure based on rpm to make the vague feeling at highway speed go away..
Love everything Level 7, and United by trucks do. I'm just try to keep 💯 . I have two shortbed, one is a 1989 c1500 setting 20x8 LT 5.3 swap. The other is a 1986 c10 350tbi setting 20x8 n 20x10. Both of them with 4/6 drop. If you need some more Ambassadors I'm available, 😆.

Just wanted to say hi. I am almost done with the frame off restoration of my '81 Silverado. I had to stop for a while because I was thrown a curve ball, I was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and had the colostomy procedure done. Next month I start chemo and radiation treatments for the cancer. I've been trying to finish what little is left to get done before the treatments because not sure how I'll feel after them.

That's exactly why I had to spend the extra $$$$$ for a '73......I literally had the 4spd 6cyl out the second day I had it and had my cammed 5.3 with a built 3k stalled th350 in it and running within 1 week, it was basically the same as when I swapped my '68 c10, so it was literally a walk in the park!!!

As a kid my grandfather had one just like that with the pretty blue with white insert 2 tone paint…..i really wanna paint my ‘73 swb fleet like that……but at the same time i kinda sold on the all white paintjob…..damn damn damn i hate having to make these kinda choices….maybe ill just clear coat the primer and go generic nardo…..mine also has a built lil 4.8 in it but with a vortech supercharger…..it really does haul ass

So I have been planning out a build for about three years now. This weekend I will be getting my sandblasted and freshly painted 1982 Shortbox C10 frame back. I’ve tossed and turned over the last year whether to go with an ls motor or a big block Chevy. I have both in my garage I’m just torn. So I’m wondering what y’all think ls or big block? My goal is to have this project all put together by next spring. Let me know what y’all think.

On this setup can you run the same width wheel front and rear so you can rotate the wheels properly without having to dismount and remount tires? Just curious if an 18x12 could go on all 4 corners with a 6” bs
