My dear, Nigeria currently needs about 30,000MW of power before the the whole Nigeria can a stable electricity . But the sad news is that Nigeria currently produces 5,000MW out of it's install capacity of 14,000MW, which is woefully inadequate. The guy speaking is mediocre and visionless.
One thing about the power supply is that it's an assumption like talking about 30,000MW of power supply even 20,000MW could supply because it would depend on the voltages of transformers and the loan supply of customers... Asides factories consumption the normal residents does not consume alot until the peak hour... Ghana can supply Nigeria power but not the whole country some of you saying Ghana can't supply we can supply but not the whole country. We must supply and reserve power for future extension and distribution of electricity.

Electricity Access Rate in Ghana is 86% which is 7th in Africa, After all the North African countries and Mauritius and Seychelles, then Gabon followed by Ghana and then South Africa 84.4%. Nigeria stands at nr.16th with 69% access rate just after Kenya nr. 15th with 71% access rate. So disgraceful, the richest country in Africa
