Nothing inherited 💯 Shout out to our first Prseident SK who saw the vision in this small semi arid country. He could have kept the Presidency in his lineage but he knew his vision was bigger than him.
We may lack the very advanced infrastructure of other SADC countries. But everything was built off of the hardwork of every Motswana no colonisers did anything for us.

Um from Lesotho, Education is more similar, everyone who qualifies for varsity gets government scholarships. It’s pays for your rent , food , books ontop of tution. it’s called stipend. so no poor child is hindered by lack of money to pay for their education as long they have the courage to pass.

If the current Kenyan president wants to be appreciated by Kenyans he should really go for some lectures to the government of Botswana because how comes instead of giving students loans in tertiary education just make education free, screw expensive healthcare and the farm inputs, Kenyans do really work hard to make their country better, but it seems the leaders just wants to drawback Kenya, I have not seen any slums or hanging electricity lines in the city of Gaborone as a Kenyan truly I can confirm that Gaborone is a world class city and has very intelligent leaders who love their country and wish for their people well, Imagine going to the village and found that already the government has already perform its function by building the infrastructure, this is so attracting to the investors who are planning to invest in the villages of Botswana, I want to tell my Kenyan people that don't say Botswana is developed by their resources but with their mindful leaders, I really admire Botswana love from Kenya, Kenyans lets fix our country

Stop lying. It's far from a free country but more of an authoritarian state which holds elections. People have been arrested for making fun of the president on social media. The previous president was the worst dictator, journalists and critics were silenced. You will be deported for taking the authorities to court if you are an expatriate or dealt with if you are a local. Ian Khama committed several human rights violations against the San people, displacing them from their homes

Botswana is beautiful, this is what happens when resources are used correctly and for the greater good, diamonds, oil, gold etc sell it and build infrastructure and develop your people/free education, this is a win.
As an African we should not need a VISA to travel around our own continent, by now we should have implemented a more efficient way that allows AFRICANS to move around, this would better the economy of each country.
