I've only read about Botswana. It's a truly impressive African nation. It was one of the poorest nations under European colonialism but since independence has risen to become one of the greatest success stories on the African continent. High gdp, diversified economy, stable government. Go Botswana 🇧🇼
Hold up, Botswana was never colonized. They were under attack though. The “historian” did not tell the truth. One cannot blame wodemaya for this part Botswana was not colonized and they never took an IMF loan
this country should be an inspiration to MOZAMBIQUE. What a country ! With few natural resources and few rivers, lakes and sea like we have here in MOZAMBIQUE but its growth is phenomenal. Keep growing Botswana ,keep being the last corrupt country in Africa. Makes us proud as Africans.

Yup, sikuwa surprised about the contribution for building the university. Nime notice a common pattern were institutions zikitoka from the people and for them, huwa zinakuwa effective sana. Juu kuna respect and trust, na hapo ndio efficiency inakuwa normalized.
This is the best video I've ever watched among our Maya's videos. This is a clear testament that if well managed, Africa can be great. Beautiful Botswana.
Thanks for clarifying to the world out there that Botswana was never colonized but we voluntarily asked for protection until 1966 and Britain did nothing to develop the country. Thanks Wode & Tiro 🙏
Botswana is a country that should be emulated throughout Africa. It's organized, successful , takes care of its citizens and its economy is growing in leaps and bounds. The government and people of Botswana need to be congratulated for such a shining example of the power of African innovation and success.
If the current Kenyan president wants to be appreciated by Kenyans he should really go for some lectures to the government of Botswana because how comes instead of giving students loans in tertiary education just make education free, screw expensive healthcare and the farm inputs, Kenyans do really work hard to make their country better, but it seems the leaders just wants to drawback Kenya, I have not seen any slums or hanging electricity lines in the city of Gaborone as a Kenyan truly I can confirm that Gaborone is a world class city and has very intelligent leaders who love their country and wish for their people well, Imagine going to the village and found that already the government has already perform its function by building the infrastructure, this is so attracting to the investors who are planning to invest in the villages of Botswana, I want to tell my Kenyan people that don't say Botswana is developed by their resources but with their mindful leaders, I really admire Botswana love from Kenya, Kenyans lets fix our country

Stop lying. It's far from a free country but more of an authoritarian state which holds elections. People have been arrested for making fun of the president on social media. The previous president was the worst dictator, journalists and critics were silenced. Botswana is beautiful, this is what happens when resources are used correctly and for the greater good, diamonds, oil, gold etc sell it and build infrastructure and develop your people/free education, this is a win. And we think that Côte D'ivoire is the best.
What a beautiful way to portray our #Botswana 🇧🇼 to the world...🎉... Do come back!!!

Botswana should be a case study for many African countries. What an amazing country! Thanks for sharing, Maya.
Yes, Rwanda went there to learn.

The videos are perfect and well edited. Excellent content !!
There are so many wonderful things about this video; 1. Done by an African Influencer; 2. Acknowledging people featured in the video by mentioning their social media handles....so many positives. Botswana 🇧🇼 is now on so many people's bucket list.
Done by an African influencer, I like that

its so amazing when he emphasizes how most things are free and it hit me hard to realise that indeed we are blessed., even with my current job, i have travelled most of those locations with a company vehicle that is 24hrs at my disposal with free fuel that i ended up having to sell my own because i wasnt using it.... its a blessing to be a Motswana...
I heard that corruption is creeping in the last 15 years or so. I saw an Arabized woman presenting the diamond to the president... I felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

Let's talk about our English, Shout out to our Educational System it's not the best but it's videos like this that makes you appreciate these small things.
I give a huge shout-out regarding how you've retained your own language AND English! Unlike in several so-called Francophone countries where the Imperialist France made it illegal for the citizens to retain their own language & FORCED to learn & speak ONLY FRENCH!😢

I've only read about Botswana. It's a truly impressive African nation. It was one of the poorest nations under European colonialism but since independence has risen to become one of the greatest success stories on the African continent. High gdp, diversified economy, stable government. Go Botswana 🇧🇼
Indeed!
Quite impressive!

this country should be an inspiration to MOZAMBIQUE. What a country ! With few natural resources and few rivers, lakes and sea like we have here in MOZAMBIQUE but its growth is phenomenal. Keep growing Botswana ,keep being the last corrupt country in Africa. Makes us proud as Africans.

You will be deported for taking the authorities to court if you are an expatriate or dealt with if you are a local. Ian Khama committed several human rights violations against the San people, displacing them from their homes

Botswana is beautiful, this is what happens when resources are used correctly and for the greater good, diamonds, oil, gold etc sell it and build infrastructure and develop your people/free education, this is a win.
As an African we should not need a VISA to travel around our own continent, by now we should have implemented a more efficient way that allows AFRICANS to move around, this would better the economy of each country.
