This gentleman does very good reviews. Was waiting for him to review this truck. If you’re going to spend 50k on a truck this is the way to go. I test drove this truck. Best truck I’ve ever been in. Smooth driving powerful and efficient. Interior is finally nice. Didn’t like the out going F-150. The inside just had too many cheap feeling plastics even on the highest trim levels. This truck still has plastics of course but they are much better. Test drove a 2.7 EC, 3.5 EC, and the 5.0. That 2.7 is no joke.
Joe, you forgot to show how the center arm rest open up on top of the area where the shifter folds down! A nice mini table surface which really does make the interior that much more usable. Great review as always!
Ford makes the best looking trucks in America. And now the most functional trucks too. The design and functionality of interior features tells me they had the owner in mind when they designed this truck. Ram may be giving Ford a run for their money but Ford is still on top. A naturally aspirated V-8 is the best option engine wise. The heck with those turbo options and an LED speedometer display makes it even better. I want one, time to go buy a lottery ticket and hope for a winner.
Agreed. I would rather have an XLT F-250 than a $60,000 F-150. Although I’m one of the only people that prefers the analog stuff and the not so futuristic interior. Also, the more I look at both F-150s, I’m beginning to like the 2020 exterior more on the XLT trim.
Nice update to the 2014 FX4 we've got. A V-8 would be nice, though our EcoBoost v-6 isn't that much of a slouch, I just feel the 8 would last longer under full loads. Thank you, Lori, for the great camera work!

I just upgraded to Carbonized Gray 2021 F150 Lariat from a 2018 F150 STX last weekend and love it! I feel like everything I see on TH-cam, the Lariat has a ton of different configurations. Mine has most of this stuff except for the B&O sound system, heated steering wheel and the LED headlights. Mine has the LED projectors, the trailer backup assist and painted mirrors/door handles was the only differences I noticed. Don't know if I got heated rear seats though. I don't know how many different configurations are available, but I like the customization for everyone to get what they want. My MSRP was the same as this one, but got it for $56,900.
The camera girl is dope you should pay her more. I've watched a lot of you videos and trust this girl knows her stuff. She always does a wonderful job. Also we would like to see her on camera sometimes.
The max recline option is not even available on the lariat. I just found it funny that even though the seat didn't fully recline he played it off as it did lol
I’m honestly curious on which cars you liked the most so far out of 2020 that you reviewed. Per class: truck, sedan, coupe, luxury, muscle, sports, etc. would be cool to see your input but I understand if not doable. Great review and can’t wait to see these in the market in a couple years

The 2021 redesign of the F150 is nice, however after Ford introduced it back in June I rushed to the dealer and ordered a 2020 F150 Lariat. I do not like the new style side mirrors, wheel options and wide sidewalls on the 2021 model. I also opted for the medium light camel interior which you had reviewed in the past, which is unavailable on the 2021 model. I would also like to point out that the reason the console shift folds down on the 2021 model is because the top of the center armrest folds down as a table for use of a laptop or for writing. The 5.0 L engine you test drove now has cylinder deactivation. It will be interesting to see how reliable this engine will be since in the past GM experienced problems with this technology. I enjoy your reviews Joe; keep up the good work!
Excellent presentation and breakdown. I'm in the market for a new truck. Getting rid of my 06 Titan LE. After 222k miles it's time and Ford i think is going to earn my business this time. Nothing wrong with the Titan at all but F150 has gained some needed luxury in the last few years.
I like the new F150, I'm glad Ford finally updated the Tech. I hope a Pano roof is a available with the Lariat trim. I kinda wish there sideview mirrors were bigger and also a dead pedal and I didn't see a tailgate step. If the Lariat trim is like this, I can only wonder how the 2021 Raptor is going to be.
Your going to have to review the hybrid once you get it and explain how it's power source is the future of trucks. At the training I got to watch a F-150 smoke a Ram with 4,000 lbs of water behind it. The same truck can power the whole training facility with it's built in generator. It's ahead of it's time
1 of the key things to mention is that this is a 502a. There are 3 different Lariat choices. Some TH-camrs need to let people know what series Lariat it is there viewing... Great video otherwise 😁👍🏼
FYI I am now the,proud owner of an 2021 F150 Lariat FX4 but I got,the 3.5 liter,,twin turbo Eco Boost.Mine came with the bed liner and bed cover. Also,the,power tailgate.

Hello Joe, this video was next to a Lariat like this by Ben Hardy. The difference in that one was a long bed! Another TH-camr said the long bed was a goner but I guess not.
When I bought my 2021 Ford F150 lariat FX for about two weeks ago I Sirius Lee considered a ram but I felt that the FX for lariat had it all over the ram.
Not a fan at all of the gimmicky shift handle. I get why they are doing it but that is just something else to break or cause a problem. Did you miss the center arm rest folding forward? In the ad I saw when you collapse the shifter you can unfold the arm rest forward to give a large flat surface. That might be an option idk. I like a lot of the other stuff and it looks good. Ram still is top truck in my book with this a close 2nd.
If u have ever been in a Ram before. That dash would look kinda familiar lol. The glove box is something Ram has been doing since 2009. But this is a nice looking truck. 👌
Love the truck. Love how all black it is, I can probably pull 2 jetskis with it, and if I have my cat or two cats, then I can just let them walk around in the back seats folded up.
I personally would go for the XLT FX4 5.0 with sport appearance package and 302a grouping plus rear sliding window. That priced out about 4-5k less than a similar Lariat. Sure you still miss out on leather and a few other items but the more you can stay under 60k the better.
Back in 2015 I wanted a F-150 changed my mind bought something else. Still like the previous generation but the 2021 is best now seems new vehicles getting pricey better buying it used or toward the end of year when sales start going down. I don't know why companies skyrocketing their vehicles prices though adding more tech features.
Doesn’t that center console fold over the gear shift like the other models? Just wondering when the gear shift goes flat I like the folding center console for the laptop option. Great Video as usual !

Nice review brother. Nice truck. They made some really nice improvements. However I have to say the Ram still holds the best truck interior. But when it comes to payload and towing nothing touches the fords numbers.
FYI: This early production F-150 Lariat did not get the folding center console armrest table. That is why I did not show it.

Toyota Camry is $25k. F-150 is $36k minus all the rebates. Not that expensive unless you load it up.

Believe it or not the forward folding armrest is not on these early F-150s.

Still like the previous generation but the 2021 is best now seems new vehicles getting pricey better buying it used or toward the end of year when sales start going down. I don't know why companies skyrocketing their vehicles prices though adding more tech features.

Nice review brother. Nice truck. They made some really nice improvements. However I have to say the Ram still holds the best truck interior. But when it comes to payload and towing nothing touches the fords numbers.

I got rid of my antenna and put a rubber ducky one in its place that’s only about 6 inches tall and works fine for a.m. and FM.
