My truck's key battery died on a road trip this past summer. Thankfully, I watched Town & Country's previous video showing the cup holder trick to get the truck started. I was able to get it started and drove to an Autozone to buy a new battery. Thanks for the tip, Mitchell!

Awesome truck. The self parking stuff I have no need for. My F150 has always practiced social distancing when parking, well before social distancing was even a term.

WOW, what a great 37 minute presentation! I’m in Wisconsin and just picked up my dealers last 2021 XLT 302A package. I saved like $9000k on it with my Ford suppler discount and loyalty perks. I’ve learned so much from your video I’ll probably watch it again and look for your XLT video on your playlist. I love the look of the KO2’s on it as well. Great job!
I rented this truck from Cali to Idaho on a 1600 mile road trip back and forth and let me tell you…holy crap I’m in love with it. That 12” screen and apple car play made my life so much easier. Interior was nice, all the features were amazing. Only thing I would say is that the leaf spring suspension although smooth, felt like the truck wasn’t planted to the road when going over bumps or turns. I had a 2013 RAM that I sold during the pandemic and the coil spring suspension made me feel a lot more confident. Loved my RAM but this current gen Ford is gonna take my money new or used. Just waiting for the prices to go down

Rage amount of customers who all bought 2021 F-150’s all had premature surface rust. Fords response was oh that’s only surface rust. This in Texas can you imagine those bought the 150 living in winter conditions.

I posted this under another video about a 2021 XLT:
I have the base model 2021 F150 4WD XL. They skimped on many things, but my old truck engine (2009 fwD F150 XLT 247,000 mi.) blew up in June and it was 120F and almost nothing was available and the dealers wanted top price for the few they had. (Before the 2009 I had a 1997 4WD F140 that had 332,000 miles and still ran like new when i traded it in because they were selling trucks at a good price at the time and offered a decent trade in too - $28,000 - $4,000 i think...I was thinking of trying for a million in that one.)
Various problems:
The Pirelli Scorpion tires. One just totally broke on a smooth dirt road in an area out of cell phone range. Abruptly went flat. Didn't hit anything, not even a bump. Couldn't see anything wrong. Had a hard time getting the spare on. Couldn't get the pole in for one thing. Bought 4 new Michelin truck tires. The guy at the tire place said the Pirelli Scorpions that came with it were not made 4 a big truck like this, they were car tires. When i called Ford later the guy said people prefer car tires (!) I shld hv brought it back to Ford but i needed to do things and neither Ford dealer in town was answering their phone. I reported it to the NHTSA Complaint #11438697 29Oct2021. I should have saved them, or at least the blown one, to bring to Ford, but I didn't.
I don't have a normal mirror on mine like he does. I have a part concave mirror that is dangerous especially in an emergency as the eye can't quickly adapt to the different perspectives. The 1/4 concave part is useless.
The electronic compass on both the screen and the dash only work on very rare occasions. Ford service said it's a known "software problem" and Ford is working on it and an update will fix it. Baloney a software problem can be fixed overnight. This is already last years model.
It has about 7,500 miles on it now and I have already HAD TO ADD TWO QUARTS OF OIL! It's not dripping oil on the ground. I don't know where the oil is going but it is a brand new engine. To add to the mystery the oil level has stabilized the last couple of weeks and now seems to he holding steady.
The base level infosystem screen is not as nice as his and is unintuitive and obnoxious, same with the online only manual, as he mentioned, and the XL screen lacks many of his features and is smaller. Old sytem buttons and knobs were so much more intuitive and safer as they didn't detract attention from driving. I also have his radio changing stations/modes/suddenly starting problem.
A warning came telling me something is loose in the oil system (!) like a missing oil filler cap, but now that warning is gone. I did remove the oil filler cap to add oil, but that was the day before.
At two points the back up camera went black and it flashed "see dealer". The infoscreen has also gone black a couple of times.
The on off thing is annoying. I need to remember to push the shut off button every time i start it to stop it from doing that.
Mine has had a seat belt recall.
Warning "malfunction indicator lamp regulatory" came on at one point. Now it's gone.
Small 23 gallon gas tank.
Sounds like you got a lemon, my 2021 lariat is a cherry and my company has 5 2021 xl models with 0 problems so far. I love these new trucks

Do u know a way to change those split screen mirrors into plain old fashioned mirrors? I consider them dangerous, especially when it was new and i wasn't used to still, but still dangerous.

@@blakerottmann1115 The fact that you can practically live in one of these was noted in the media last week during the Texas ice storm.
I have a 23 Silverado 1500 with 3.0. 42K miles no serious issues. One recall for the bed outlet not having the chip installed to make it a useable outlet. Averaging 26MPG. What made that purchase easy was having financing secured prior and Sands Chevrolet in Surprise was very professional.

Any links or advice on engine sizes? I’m coming from a 2016 lariat 5.0 and plan on getting 2021 lariat...debating on ecoboost or another 5.0. Now Granted I plan on lifting and putting 35s on it... but on my 2016 that 12-13 mpg where killing me. So any advice would be great on which engine for the 2021

If you have a Lariat or higher, you get the B&O system.
When using car play, does the next turn display on the gauge cluster screen? I know car play can do this, but the manufacturer has to integrate it.

What was done to the front suspension? I had 295/60/20's on my 2016 with a level. I want to do something to my 21!

great video. only gripe is that my old 12 explorer did parallel park by pressing the button once. didnt need to hold it. why do you need to hold it? you can easily hit the brake to stop....

Does the screen go i to a night mode where backdrop does a night screen using the headlight sensor for activation like most screens? or can the screen be set to a black background instead of white? Especially on the 2021 hybrid with the bigger screen.

Ok question Just picked up my 2021 Lariat Powerboost. Just relized there is a camera up on rear of roof with area lights. What do I do to move that camera to te rear of a cap. I ordered a new ARA cap and do want the camera moved back if I can
