Last September I bought an Addict Eride-10 in Spain where I live. It has been the best purchase I have ever made in my life and it has given me back the illusion of going out with my "grupetta". I have been cycling since I was 16 years old and now at 62 years old and with some extra kilos this Addict Eride-10 bike is the best thing that has happened to me. I would recommend it to any enthusiast of a certain age who wants to continue to enjoy the road. The quality of the bike is simply spectacular.
Hi Larry! The back wheel can be removed, the cable is connected by a plug that's hidden in the frame, but it becomes visible and detachable when you pull on the cable that's connected to the frame. Hope that helps!
I resent that comment. This bike is marketed toward people who are senior citizens or those who have disabilities such as breathing, weight issues etc. there is no valid reason why these people cannot go out enjoy riding a bike without killing themselves trying to get up a hill. Think before you type!
@@allenrosenblum3654 No, the marketing is directed at cheaters or as they call it "performance roadriders" who want invisible help th-cam.com/video/cBSlhzeef58/w-d-xo.html Those people that you are mentioning can find perfectly suitable E Bikes on the market. The geometry and built of this bike is clearly not suited to their needs. This is for middle-aged, high earning dudes whose ego cannot cope with being slower than fitter people and who want to hide that they are cheating. The bike equivalent to liposuction 😀
@@svennorthwest6233 You are so wrong, I am 70 and I have the Bianchi e road Aria. This bike IS suited to my needs! I do not race but enjoy being able to ride with some assistance when I need it. I also have other non assisted road bikes I ride when I feel up to it. I have had my back operated on, both knees and both shoulders , I will ride what I want. This bike is clearly not to be ridden in a race with non electric bikes. If a middle age person wants to ride one and is not racing that’s his business. Wealth has nothing to do with it.
@@allenrosenblum3654 Absolutey agree! Those making these arrogant comments are completely stupid. I went e-assist at age 90, because my rides were becoming too limited.
I notice the range extender is different on the website too one in the video why ? Also x20 system I see there video offers 250w or 350w will that be a option with Scott or will it be 208w like it says on Scotts site
exactly. Went to my dealer yesterday and they absolutely have no clue when this bike will be available. Called another huge Scott dealere in my contry : same thing. WTF...
Oh wow. I could do with one of these. I’m so slow up hills. But how the hell do you get them serviced. It’s not like I’ve got a Scott bike shop anywhere near me. The more tech we get on bikes the more can go wrong and I won’t want my local Halfords boys taking a hammer to it! I haven’t even put a dropper post on my Scott mtb for this reason cos they are always breaking down those things
I have been trying to order and Addict Eride 10 since may but my dealer ( italy) has no idea when the bike will be available, maybe it will be in 2023, this is very disappointing, most likely I will look to another brand 😞
I’m enjoying the bike so far th-cam.com/users/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA My only real complaints are the brakes and the pedals. I feel like a bike designed for bigger people should have much larger pedals and more heavy duty brakes. I’ve only gotten two really good rides out of it, minimal downhill action, and the brakes feel like they’re already going out. A larger person has more momentum, so I think this wasn’t thought through very well. Also, I wear size 13-14 wide shoes. My feet cramp up on these pedals that are clearly made for smaller feet. Since I’m not a pro rider (and I don’t think many are who purchase this bike) I don’t think that the straps on the pedal are necessary at all. None of this takes away from the enjoyment I get from riding, however. I’ll just head to a bike shop to improve on a few things.
_"... weight of 10,5 kg"_ - Lie. The lightest (Ultimate) is sold with a specified weight of 10.7 (in fact, even the smallest frame can be more). And they forgot to say about 55Nm (previously X35+ had 40)
Im from Malaysia. i bought addict eride in nov 2021, the motor suddenly have issue in jan 2022, send for warranty and they said the parts only arrive singapore this september 2022. my advise, dont buy this bike. so pissed off.
Sounds like you need a better retailer, for a bike that price, any decent bike shop would prob do a straight swap for you and deal with the warranty themselves.
ADDICT eRIDE 10 retail for 7500usd and the agent you selected for China mainland set retail price at 13000usd. We really like your ebikes and wish to have a try, but this insane add-on price, sorry goodbye.

Hi Javier, thanks for sharing your experiences with the Addict eRIDE 10 ❤ We LOVE your passion for SCOTT and riding bikes!
it looks even slicker than the new spark! impressive work Scott and Mahle
Bought one yesterday. Can't wait to get it! I'm counting the seconds for it to be delivered...
Can the rear wheel be removed from the frame or is it always tethered by a power cable? (For example, fixing a flat tire)

Bloody hell, the marketing spin taken to new heights.. Scott new E road bike. The end
When I hear Mahle I think of pistons in ICE's, not really electric drivetrains. But who knows - maybe they have a nice and reliable product here.
これはイケてる!
And if I want a 400mm handlebar on a 56 size bike ??
上海展上终于看到摸到实车了....价格昂贵,属于是dream bike
The real question is on which year can we actually purchase this bike.

Yes please!🤘🏻👍🏻🤩💯
Thanks for saying 'those who want maximum assistance' and not 'fatties' - I personally appreciate that, Ben :-D
Took me a while to figure out he was talking about E-bikes :D

J ai acheté ce velo mais il est bridé à 25kmh . Personne ne sait le debrider . Je vais devoir le revendre car il ne va pas assez vite .😪
Thought drive units were for cruisers 😁

Why don’t Scott make an ebike in the 61cm frame size? Why why why (very annoyed rider who owns and loves a Foil)
💯
