    Well I know the man behind the scenes, Charlie Welch, former Supervisor of the Primate Department, Louisiana Purchase Gardens & Zoo. Charlie an honorary member of Madagascar Tribesmen has done more for the preservation and conservation of lemur populations in Madagascar than any other person. I am proud to have known you back in our days at LPG&Z, I learned so much from you. I'm sure Dr. Watson concurs.

      Charlie Welch? That guy is a wanted lemur rapist in 44 states... I heard he fondles their nipples while he pleasures himself. He likes it when they cry... he told me once that their shrieks of pain bring him such ecstasy

      Isabella is doing great! She turned four this January (growing up so fast!) and lives with one of our handsome male sifakas, Wenceslaus! ❤️

    My favorite lemurs at the DLC are ring-tailed lemurs, ruffed lemurs and sifaka lemurs.

    Do you guys really have an adoption center?

    • @dukelemurcenter
      @dukelemurcenter  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi, Eduaras! Our Adopt a Lemur program offers lemurs for symbolic, not literal, adoption. Adopters receive emails 4x annually with updates and images of “their” favorite lemur, but the lemur stays here at the DLC and all funds raised support that lemur’s care (here in Durham, NC) and lemur conservation in the wild in Madagascar. We do not in any way support the adoption of real, wild animals into private homes. Here's why: lemur.duke.edu/not-a-pet.
      To learn more about our Adopt a Lemur program, please visit lemur.duke.edu/adopt.
      Thanks so much for your question! Hope this helps! :)

    Evolution is wrong. Earth isn't 70,000,000, you got the 7 but way too many 0s.
