- These strange creatures leap from spine covered tree to spine covered tree. Their technique is amazing as they are able to leap from tall tree trunks to land safely and securely, even with babies - if they can avoid their four footed predator, the Fossa. Subscribe: bit.ly/BBCEarthSub

Aww, every time I see Sifaka lemurs I’m always reminded of Zaboomafoo with the Kratt Brothers. RIP Jovian, little buddy, you will forever be missed… 💚💙
That's Zoboomafoo.
Zaboomafoo was awesome!
Sì
It's amazing just how big yet accurate their jumps are in the air, just one of the reasons why I love Lemurs so much!
They are the only species of lemurs who does the most leaping
Especially The S***F***.
Tough Life... Eee!! AaaH! Eee!
S***! F***!!! S***!
00:24-00:44.
How do they land on those spiky branches
They’re so cute when they’re bouncing around.
Eat them is even better.
I sometimes dream that I'm able to jump incredible distances, hopping from buildings to buildings, from trees to trees; sometimes I am even able to fly outright. But when I reach the ground, all I can do is hop up and down furiously and ineffectually as I painstakingly inch forward. I never realized those dreams were lemur dreams.
Nawyria cool
Lemurs
I’ve got a cool experience with lemurs while I was at the zoo The lemurs let me touch the tail and when I went under them They screamed to everybody as if they were trying to protect me like I’m King Julian or Something
Whoa! Same here! When i was a kid i had similar dreams. One of those dreams i was chased by zombies until i can't find heigts then i was hopping between trees then end up on a young bamboo that was bending. I was so scared because the zombies could reach my feet. I shared bed with my older brother. One night he woke me up with a slap, apparently i was kicking him hard. So weird. 🙄
Maybe you are an artist at heart - that would be the leaps and bounces - but working some mundane job…
We'll forever miss you, Zoboomafoo!!! 😢❤
David Attenborough, you're my special. Thank you for the great work. Much love from Uganda. God keep you safe.
"As I was leaping along... Leap... Leap..”
Magical, beautiful! And, the voice of David Attenborough - there's no other like it!
THE FOSSA!!!
I fucking hate the fossa. Fucking bitch.
They're known as "foosa" in Madagascar movie..."Foosa oo...foosa aah"
hahahaha I thought the same thing I was dying laughing when they showed that
Subhana Allah
My favorite narrator Sir David, I love watching all his programs on nature and Animals and never get tired
The way these lemurs move on two legs almost looks human!
Zaboomafoo!!!!!!!
That's definitely a zaboomafoo
animals are so damn cool... I love watching stuff about them
Eat them is even better.
Hey!,! Poor animals! Don’t eat them!
This made me really happy for some reason.
I understand exactly what you mean!
Me as well. Nature is wonderful.
Same lol
I like Verreaux's sifaka lemurs. I wish the Duke Lemur Center had both Coquerel's sifaka lemurs and Verreaux's sifaka lemurs.
My new favorite animal.
Still your fav?
@@nikninja2233 Well, I may not be the guy who commented but its definitely my new favorite animal
@@boyoncrack313 I feel ya I found myself this morning deciding to find out what zaboomafoo was up to these days and went down a rabbit hole of lemurs and I have no regrets.
@@nikninja2233 HAHAHAH, thats awesome. I think I have to thank National Geographic for conveniently showing me a documentary at the right place and time.
@@nikninja2233 It's up there.
"The fossa are attackingggg.."

Фантастичні стрибки!

lol i just hear savid saying "climbing along here takes some delicate footwork" and then i see the lemur on what looks like a giant cactus :/ what on earth did u go up there for?! looool
While walking in the woods one day
Chris and Martin saw something strange
Because it doesn't say in the description, these animals are "Sifaka", which are a type of lemur.
yellowfolder thank you
Attenborough clearly states the name which is all that matters - just listen to the commentary.
@@jerrycoleby-williams2579 Yes, he mentioned it clearly: "a young SIFAKA is able to negotiate the spines".... and so on. However, they both, Sifaka and Fosa, are mispronounced. Don't worry! I've been leaving in Madagascar since my birth, those animals are from here, You can check them out, at Antananarivo Zoological Park.
Mukeshkumar@ilgomcom
Damn, i remember these animals in Dinosaur movie. I used to watch this movie when I was a kid.
Damn. These guys can climb those thorny trees. The sifakas truly don't give a faka.
See these incredible Monkeys on this amazing programme..Madagascar Earth Tropical and this is quite a unique place where so many wonderful different species of animals live..the place is on my bucket list for sure!! 😍😍😍
That is the exact same way when i walk underwater.

@Raherin it's a quote from the Saw films... I thought that facing the deciscion between being eaten alive and getting cactus spike all over you was similar to the decisions made in John Kramer's 'Jigsaw' games in Saw.
